I’m a skeptic of all. I will however say that, she’s not lying and I’ve got no skin in the game. Many go weeks without normalized sleep after a flood dose. That in and of itself is a huge trigger, and insomnia can cause temporary psychosis.

Same argument can be said for the pro Ibogaine “professionals”. They do the same. Hype up their business instead of giving us studies and data to decide for ourselves. And most people fall it on both sides. Very small minority of people who do research and read the studies.

To everyone who is asking and wondering why the U.S banned this use of treatment. Its simple. Rehabs & $$$. If the US / Government actually cared about people getting help this would have became legal years ago. Truth is though, addiction is a big money maker and they are not gonna legalize a miracle drug when they can make 60k off of you in Rehab for 28 days.

You act like they wouldn’t profit off this as well. The current system is broken.
Most recovery treatment centers are all for profit and promote aa/na model. Which violates one of the traditions of AA.
This notion that ibogaine would be legal would fix this brown system is complete nonsense.
There are several start up compaines that are publicly traded in hopes of profiting off legalized ibogaine.
Point is it will never be free and never be affordable to most that need it.

Methadone is nothing more than liquid hand cuffs and suboxone is the same shit. This experience gave me a lot of confidence about my self and my body. A bunch of bad thought / behavior patterns were broken. One of these was pretty bad OCD that made me wash my hands a lot. It gave me a lot of hope that things will be fine, this is the one thing that I heard throughout the trip: Everything is alright. This is NOT a “psychedelic.” This is a real medication that requires a full medical checkup (particularly on heart, liver, and kidneys) ahead of time. This Baja place does not seem credible. The reporter did not do her research either. Did she perhaps want to mention the deaths coming from heroin and methadone abuse? In a MEDICALLY CLINICAL IN-PATIENT procedure this is a very safe and effective option for those who can afford it. The problem is that most people cannot.

ibogaine metabolites not only take care of the psychological addiction, but they also work in the body to repress withdrawal symptoms. some heavy heroin addicts could be killed by their own immune system from withdrawals, ibogaine is LIFE SAVING and when the news literally says "doctor says ibogaine is NOT recommended" I get so heated, or when they mentioned ibogaine could be fatal with heart conditions, so do prescriptions, the SSRI's prescribed by therapists left me (I was a kid during treatment) with seizures from withdrawals, I wish Ibogaine was an option when I had to deal with that

They've been trying to do it to Kratom for years and we're almost successful until public outcry led to a massive petition and a protest in Washington which forced the DEA to back off, but don't worry they'll be back to try it again which is why it is of the upmost importance that people let their voices be heard.

What does "its the strongest psychedelic there is" mean? In the chemistry world its considered a "dirty drug" because it works on so many different receptors/pathways in the brain. People use ibogain as a mild stimulant with low doses. And high doses can damage the heart. It last 24 hours give or take so yeah its powerful but everything depends upon dosage. 5ME0-DMT could be called the strongest psychedelic there is too.
