@@kingartison if your talking about ray liotta being on "bad terms" with rockstar, it wasnt rockstars fault that time like it was for Michael hollic, it was because during voice acting ray would get angry at the script writers for making him say so much random stuff out of context, he wasnt the motion capture for tommy from my knowledge so he had no idea what he was saying when he did tommy's voice. Anyway Ray liotta didn't hate rockstar anymore because he would occasionally visit the HQ in europe so he didnt have anything against them.

I can't believe he's gone man, he was amazing as Tommy Vercetti and when I was younger he was my inspiration, I looked up to him as an idol, it was my first GTA but also cuz Tommy vercetti didn't take crap from nobody, he was tough and sturn but he was a good guy he was loyal to those he cared about and he was just as protective. Ray Liotta was an amazing dude I really wish I could have got to meet him before he passed away but he will forever live in my heart as one of my favorite actors and voice actors. Fast forward to 2007 I watched goodfellas for the first time when I was about 12 and absolutely loved him Joe Pesci and Robert de Niro in it and it instantly became one of my all time favorite movies. A little while after watching it I realised it was him, from then I recognised the man could act and he could do it damn well

Tommy Vercetti might have been one dimensional as some people say but he was incredibly tough, fearless, independent, objective-oriented who let nothing stand in his way. I can see why some people admire him.

I just dug up my old PS2 and my copy of Vice City months ago, didn’t know that would be the last time I would play that game while he was still with us. We also just lost a couple of musicians from Vice City’s soundtracks; Alan White from Yes and Andy Fletcher from Depeche Mode. RIP

I’m currently playing vice city within this last few weeks, I had no idea he passed away until now this is crazy. The rest of my gameplay I will be admiring Tommy’s voice even more than I have before
Most voice actors never do, its get in, do the roles, and get out. You can at least know that Ned Luke (Michael deSanta) is still to this day playing GTA 5 and playing as himself even, and enjoying the game, and having fun with people.
One of the greatest actors and him in GTA Vice City is just another aspect to his talent. Rest in peace to Ray Liotta and I hope one day you're brought back to life because you'll be sincerely missed.

It's a shame he fell out with Rockstar over pay. Tommy Vercetti was actually supposed to appear in GTA San Andreas but Ray refused to do the VA for him so Rockstar scrapped that idea. Would have been awesome if Tommy did appear though (most likely in Venturas with Rosenberg & Kent Paul), that would have been the perfect end to the GTA 3D trilogy as Claude also appeared in GTA San Andreas during the countryside missions
