- Do you love chickens??? Know someone who does? This chicken mugrug pattern is super easy and pretty fast to make.....which makes this the perfect gift! Double up the batting to make her into a trivet :) That's what I did, and I'll show you how to make her in this video.

We have chickens (hens only, as roosters are prohibited in our area), and we have chicken themed items all throughout our home. We even have a huge framed MCM batik fabric print of chickens in our dining room.
Oh, you know I am absolutely making a couple of these chicken mug rugs for my husband’s office! 😂
She is the CUTEST. I will be using Insul Bright and make that chicken for my Daughter as she LOVES my Homemade Chicken soup, and she can put either her plate or the pot on it. You explained it so very well and with such charm. I am so glad I found your channel today.

Cuteness
Raising chickens and having fresh eggs is awesome! We loved to sit and watch them when we had them. We found if we didn’t lock them up at night there was a risk of predators getting to them. I hope you plan on fencing either the garden or the chickens.😊❤
We have a fenced-in run and coop :) they get free time in the yard when we are able to sit out there with them.

Helpful hint: when you draw that cutting line on the wrong side of the fabric.... make the cut at that time, then assemble the pieces to sew completely around it... no chance of cutting errors after it is sewn ;) ... love this cute little chicken .. relatively quick and easy!!

Love the chicken! We had 2 Rhode Island Reds, Thelma and Louise. Unfortunately the fox got Thelma and 2 years later Loise. We haven’t gotten any more yet. We had a pen and hen house.
