    I always felt bad for Nao. She has one of the most tragic story in Shiki. The mother who losed both children and rest of her family and doctor's wife had also very tragic history.

      I also feel sorry for this character to and shiki nao what's a kind in caring woman for her family and so many happy things in her life but there's always a price you have to pay for such happiness I just wish that she didn't have to pay for any of this no one should have to pay for so much happiness like this it's just sad and too cruel I just wish I could have done something to help her if I could❤️🙏😔🙏❤️

    Even if any one of her family rose and became shiki. They will resent Nao for murdering the rest of them.

    Say what you want about the Shiki, but you can’t help but feel sorry for Nao. After all the suffering she endured as a child she finally got a chance of happiness as an adult only to die and become a undead being. All she wanted, all she deserved is to be loved and not be alone.

    i feel bad for nao , all she really wanted was to live with her loved ones , but the shiki turned her life upside down by turning her into their kind , her parents did not care for her they were busy drugging themselves and forgot about their daughter , her husband and his family at least gave her what she deserved but it was short lived after the kirishiki family moved to the village , ever since then nao attacked her family members in case any of them rises up but fate gave her a very cruel sentance which is living alone as an undead being for the rest of her life and when nao tries evading the hunters in the village's tunnels with other shikis , she expressed utmost guilt and remorse over her actions and paid the price of her doings with her life , the moral of this anime is life can be cruel and merciless to even the most innocent people and nao learned this lesson in the most painful way imaginable .

    People acting like they would just die after turning into shiki out of a pure heart when we all know how filthy humans can be when it comes to desires. Especially life.
    I won't justify anything the shiki did but they could've existed in some different peaceful way had the main family not corrupted them

    In my opinion this is one of the best horror animes ever because it gets everything right from a horror anime like story is good the soundtrack and opening is dark and I love how it stays more focused on the horror aspects of the story and leaves the action for last and I do like it how they make vampires scary again and we need more series like this

    People tend to forget that most Shiki only fed on others and didnt flee the town because they were FORCED by the main family to stay in the village. Poor Nao thought at the very least she could turn her family, probably at the sadistic suggestion of Tatsumi or Megumi (who straight up dont care about human life and are shown to laugh at people murdering their own family) so Nao was in a no-win situation ever since she first got bit.

    • @episode40
      @episode40 Год назад +2

      I mean Megumi was quite literally a sociopath which is understandable since she was made fun of and her dreams to go to the city were completely invalidated since childhood, not to mention all the village hags gossiped about her like crazy (even during her funeral)… but Megumi also didn’t enjoy doing this shit, she did enjoy revenge but she was still stuck in the system that the Kirishiki family has built

    • @Theflameblast22
      @Theflameblast22 Год назад +6

      @@episode40 She was literally giggling with glee after telling that one girl's dad to kill his family or himself if he had a problem with feeding, and she had no problems at all with killing or torturing innocents for days on end-- she just had a problem being forced to do it in that same lame village. Just cuz she's different from the other people in the village doesn't justify her being an awful person, it's not like they were being maliciously rude to her, they were just acting like typical Boomers.

      Finally. I swear people justify Megumi’s actions or find ways to excuse it because of a little teasing from grandmas and grandpas from the village. That isn’t even comparable too

      you can't really blame nao for what she did , she desperatly wanted to be with her family and as i said in my comment her reason for attacking them was for them to rise as shikis so they can be together again , if you want to blame someone it should be sunako and her family .

      @@zirdahocine6460 Yes, I can. Quite easily. While it was the Kirishikis that murdered her in the first place and convinced her to murder her family, she was the one who chose to murder them with her own hands. She's just as guilty as the Kirishikis are.

      @@XTheCrystalBeastGuyXwhile i agree with you on this , you have to understand that while the shikis are entirely dead and attack humans indiscriminately at the orders of the kirishikis , it doesn't change the fact that they are still the same people they used to be before being turned , you probably know the story of count dracula and how he was forbiden from entering any house unless someone invites him in , the same can be said about the shikis and unfortunatly as much as they want to go back to their old lives , sunako told them they are not allowed to interact with any of their relatives and friends in fear they will be exposed and that the humans must be perished , that was the law the kirishikis made to keep the village of sotoba in their control , but most of the shikis are sad and confused about this new life they were in and didn't want to kill anyone precious to them but their nature as blood suckers will force them to strike eventually and won't realize what they did until it was too late , the same can be said about nao while it's true she was orderd to kill her family she only obeyed like i said at the hopes of them joining her , because while she is living under the rules of the kirishikis she was very lonely and wished to go back to her family but because of her nature as a shiki she was forbiden of entering her own house so instead she was orderd to kill all of them and then wait until they rise up but none of them did and nao then blamed her nature as a shiki for it and while i understand that she also killed the villagers she only did it because she was in so much despair and anger and had no one to go to to tell them about her suffering so she turned all that anguish on anyone she was orderd to kill , but when nao was escaping with other shikis through the village's tunnels she was already regretting every single action of atrocity she made on both her family and village and when she was being pulled out of the tunnel by a hunter she had a monologue in her head that this whole time she didn't want to hurt anyone but wished to return to her old life and in her mind this is the best punishment for all the pain and misery she caused to everyone and dies a very cruel death , i hope you understand now how a shiki operates and how their nature caused their demise .

      @@zirdahocine6460 this is a laugh. I only see people who should've just asked to be put back in their graves. While it's tragic they died, it's a sin that they murdered people to survive and justified it so easily. They were buried with love and should've remained dead and in their graves. Their loved ones didn't need to go through the pain of being hunted and murdered by the ones they loved.
      It doesn't matter if Nao realized what she did was wrong, the fact of the matter is that if humans didn't fight back, the Shiki would've continued to murder them without a second thought. Nao included. The Shiki were guilty of committing genocide and started a war with their loved ones, and humans decided to end it. It's not fun when the rabbit has a gun now is it? The Shiki sure did act like victims when every villager turned into Dwayne Johnson as Adult Bambi and had a score to settle with the Shiki who murdered anyone, including children.

    • @zirdahocine6460
      @zirdahocine6460 Год назад

      i will tell you one thing though , the humans are right for protecting their village but don't you think they went a little too far with it , they even killed normal humans when they were bitten even when the shiki that bit them was killed , the anime itself is showing you if any of the humans or shikis were justified with their actions and because of this war the village was burned to the ground and no one survived and the shikis were already dead so no use dwelling over it , right ? well thanks for the talk and one last advice you don't judge people only by their apeerance and look into their lives to see who they really are .
