Teasing & back combing will damage whatever hair you have. Heat-styling should also be avoided as much as possible. You're suggesting that - at night - women with thin or thinning hair use silk or satin pillowcases & using night caps... and then, as soon as it's morning, that they do as much as possible to permanently damage whatever hair they have left. Where are the true "before Rogaine" pictures, where you show your parting?
I love thick beautiful hair. If my hair ever starts thinning (Knock on wood) I know what to try ;)
