Most likely pens by Sakura aka Microns, Indentipens. Doesn't matter as long as they are permanent and don't bleed. Copic's are great too but they can be pricey. Oh, its all an outline. What you refer to as inline is still an outline. Rendered is finished work and anything with just line work is well, line work.

Question: For an aspiring tattoo apprentice, what size should your portfolio be? E.g, is A4 paper size a reasonable size, or do you recommend A3 size. Or, doesn't it matter?
