    I am always confused when I watch these videos because no one explains what medium they're using. Is it all pen and ink, occasionally color pencil or are these all done on a computer and printed out? Also, I was recently told to practice my tracing using a light box as much as possible and showcase them on my portfolio side-by-side..is this worth doing?

    Hi ik I’m a bit late to your video but I was just wondering, because I’m trying to get an apprenticeship too. How do you come up with new, creative designs? Because I’m ok at drawing it’s just when I think of a design, they’re usually quite similar to others. I’m not sure if that’s gonna be a great start if I want to tattoo but yh...

    • @KariMay_
      @KariMay_  3 года назад +5

      download Pinterest and when ever you get an idea search it and save a bunch of ideas so you always have a ref for ideas (that really helped me.) but ultimately you just need to draw draw draw, practise things over and over. once you think your getting somewhere you can slightly change things or incorporate other ideas your working on. Do some research on different styles you like as well - copy some then change it up your own way. Once you get the ball rolling you'll get into certain things and you'll get more ideas as you go. Hope that helped x

    How old do you have to be to apply for an apprenticeship? I’m 16 and I’m looking to apply for one this summer possibly in Ireland. I haven’t lived there for a long time so I haven’t been able to talk to anyone there with tattoos or who know tattoo shops, but where I live currently the legal age to get a tattoo is 16 (with parental consent) so I thought apprenticeships might also start at that age??
