Thank you for watching! I hope you enjoyed this video and the various ways in which I'm changing and adapting to this new part of my life. Are you going through any changes? Have any regrets?

Many many changes too. I'm one of those people that gets bored easily and my life changes every two to three years. Some people like change, others don't. What really matters is that we find peace, joy and love in our lives everyday, and we are responsible for making ourselves happy! ☮💌Still enjoy viewing your videos no matter the content

Yes, as we speak I am turning into a werewolf & it is sooo annoying. 😜 Kidding aside, I have a question. Since rv/vans are still at a premium, are you considering at all selling your van while at it's highest value? Or just worth keeping for the moment? Thanks

I am in the process of changing jobs from an office sit down all day job to a more mobile job that's more outdoors. I am finishing some dental work with my current great dental coverage. God knows what kind of dental my next job will have. lol 🦷

I am preparing for a major life change. My youngest started college this past August. I am getting my house ready to be put on the market. I need to decide where I want to live just for myself. I follow you and other travelers to see parts of the country that I have not personally been.

🎼"Regrets, I've had a few..."😉Life brings change. I'm one of those few humans who embrace change. Boredom has been my enemy since I was a little kid! But stupid pandemic wrecked me, truly. Became agoraphobic, the PTSD came back, the ANXIETY swallowed me whole. I barely left my house except to go to my little cottage in the Summer. Jan '22, I got uterine cancer, finished treatment in June, am finally moving out of the "rage" phase. Now, I have NO fear. Screw it... I lived! My husband is still so scared, thought he was gonna lose me (sweetie!).. But I'm staying here for the FUN. I'm going to the Caribbean next week! I'm done with fear, open to all adventures. Still anxious, always will be. But I win, anxiety. No fear. You're doing GREAT, Amber. Happy for ya! Cute place!!! 💐(Got your sticker on my car and my laptop... I'm representing you, pretty lady!!!)

I'm glad that you've been authentic with your process. I know you've gotten some flack some some people, but I wanted to give you the other side. It totally makes sense to me that you would get tired of being on the road after a number of years. Full time on the road isn't for everyone, especially not indefinitely. So thanks for continuing to be authentic with your own story chasing adventure, and not trying to produce a story that other people want. What I appreciate about you is your realness. As somebody who has had a lot of depression and anxiety, it makes me feel like I can relate to your situation. Although my situation is very different, I can definitely relate to the occasional uncertainty of life. And the uncertainty of what should go next.

Kim thank you for sharing your perspective and kind compliments. It’s sometimes hard to navigate this path when I’m also thinking about what’s best for me, how can I show something that might help somebody else, and still make a entertaining and successful video. It can be agonizing and I out a lot of pressure on myself. I hope you are being kind to yourself with the anxiety and depression and have support. It can be hard to deal with otherwise.

Your authentic voice was what drew me to your channel. Dealing with suffering is something we share in common. Our best life stories are about struggling with loss and changes. I am sorry you felt so harshly judged for sharing a difficult part of your life. I think more people appreciate it than look down on you for it. I have always preferred to surround myself with people who aren't afraid to show some of their hardships - it's easier to relate to those kind of people and easier to then open up myself. Sometimes you just need to talk it out and not be afraid that you will be judged for your feelings. Thanks for being you.
And btw, I love that bed frame. My dream is to have one just like it! And it's been fun to come along with you as you decorate your little part time home. ♥️

If some people don'r appreciate your authentic sharing, that's about them, not you. The airbrushed version of van life may be what they are looking for, but your most loyal followers want your actual experience. I appreciate your true voice and your honest sharing! For me, otherwise, what's the point of sharing at all........to create a fantasy version of your life with no difficult experiences? Now that sounds boring to me. Artificial Intelligence can create videos like that. I celebrate being human even with all the rough around the edges experiences! You're on the right track, Amber, in my humble opinion! It's one of the things I've always appreciated about you and your channel!

Boy can I relate to you today! 2022 was one of the hardest years for me as well. Sickness sidelined me and “forced” me into an early retirement. I have recovered and am welcoming the change as I had a very stressful job and was constantly being given additional responsibilities outside the scope of my job. They were burning me out from the inside out!..Pretty toxic now that I can dissect it from a far. Glad you are feeling better. Anxiety/depression sucks! Take care..❤your channel. Long Time Viewer. 1st time commenting. Thank You for being honest and sharing your full life experience. IMHO a big factor in the high rates of depression and anxiety in our society is related to the pressure to be fake, To present an air brushed life. It does not allow us the necessary vulnerability to feel heard, validated and thus supported to process our hurt, heal it and thus move on to the next chapter in our life. Since I am 51 and living with my parents partly to save money and partly to help them out with their health challenges, Watching your videos gives me a chance to Travel with you. Thank You!

Hi Amber… I also changed my nomad life. I sold my Motorhome and am glad for it. I have been following you for a few years and just 3 weeks ago I also changed my way of eating. As I learned more and more about a low carb, meat based diet, everything has changed for the better.
I have been guided to share this with you. With your thousands of followers, your sharp mind, and honest, authentic manner, you might be interested in giving meat a chance. My results of being in such a peaceful mood and extra energy is awesome. Of course trimming down those unwanted pounds is also a dream come true.
I listen to the small whisper I hear from my spiritual guidance and they continue to ask me to share this with you. I would have sent a private message but I just don’t know how.
Even though I did not want to send this message because I try to stay away from attention, your personality is perfect and that is why I enjoyed your channel.
I want nothing from you nor am I selling anything. Meat is sold at all stores.
I believe in synchronicity and perhaps this is not the first time you have heard about a carnivore/ lion diet. It’s time to heal our bodies and I for one have found a method that works. I was shocked by the results.
Blessings to you, Amber, as you explore your newest journey.

Your choices on furnishings are fabulous & your place is looking more & more comfortable & homey!
I love the bed frame design - you could try to find a body pillow & tuck it up next to the headboard. Your mattress could move further to fill the empty spot at the foot of the bed. That would save you the expense of getting a separate mattress for your house.

I think you made the right decision, just remember, now you can pick the spots you loved and head to those spots when you’re ready, but also you can relax and research spots you would love to see. To tell you the truth, it always made me up tight, the constant moving and having to spend so much energy finding a place for the night, just felt like you were missing out on so much. Best formula we use is leave by 10 stop travel about 200 miles stop and spend 2 days in a spot. When you stop, explore the area and decide which direction you want to go when you leave. ❣️❣️❣️. Before long you’ll be ready to go again.

For the last 11 or 12 years, I was the caregiver for my precious brother, Dad, & Mom. Losing them, & having no other family has been a very difficult & an emotional challenge. I was so wonderfully blessed to have such a loving family, I don't regret anything except that I couldn't do more & I couldn't fix their health. During my life, I have also lost many precious pets which was also very painful. They're not "just an animal" to me. But I am no different than millions of other people who've experienced similar losses, difficulties, health issues, etc. The gift of love we receive from family, friends, & pets is worth every tear, every broken heart, the loneliness, & all the healing time. At some point, we begin to let go of some of the pain so that the happy memories take over most of our thoughts. I'm on your side, & so are thousands of other people. You aren't alone. 😊🤗❤️

I know the feeling - travelling for long periods of time is exhausting because so many decisions need to be made. There is always the air of uncertainty even when you know where you are going. Most of the time I really enjoyed returning to work - because it was a relatively known environment. Sad but true. Retired now but still travel - but need to return to my home after about 4 weeks.

I can't imagine following someone for years and having them hide a sad time in their life and their temporary feelings. To out on a phony happiness all because real feelings might "trigger" somebody else. NO! Life is not like that. There are ups and downs and all that matters is being normally authentic. I'm glad you showed it all and your transitioning thru it the best way for you. Blessings Dear!

I used to take my mother to ikea for breakfast. She loved it better than McDonald’s breakfast. Seeing you eating there brought back memories:). Wish you warm and healthy in your new place and path!

No regrets! You were still "Story Chasing." Not all chapters in our life are happy and carefree. You lived yours and shared the good the bad and the ugly. I am happy for you to be in a steady environment with family close by. (Especially after Lily) Thanks for continuing to take us on your life adventure. I love your new space and your bed looks sturdy (love the wagon) and could you possibly share your pickled red onion recipe? And what do you use it on?

So glad you are feeling better! This "story chasing" chapter is so much fun! May I please respectfully add if buying feather products please make sure feathers come from a cruelty free source? Some companies still support live plucking. 😢 Thank you so much for sharing your life! 💖

Amber, I think that you are very brave. You went on your journey instead of staying in a long lasting daily grind job. I myself worked at the same business for almost 35 years. Became a vacation traveler but dreamed of doing more. You seem like an interesting, fun & kind person. Plus, a dog lover. Like myself. I enjoy your RUclips stories! PS love your living room look!

I don't think you need to apologise for any thing. Life as a whole is about changes, and you have to roll with it. You had a difficult time last year and you showed the true side of living on the road. Too many people assume its all the instagram pictures. Waking up to amazing views all the time the "honeymoon" aspect. You showing your truth would have helped more people than offending them. I suffer with depression and afew times have been stuck, your videos have helped me.

Thank you for your vulnerability, and openness. And although you stated having triggered others anxiety.. I feel strongly that being open about mental health, vulnerable, authentic and open to discussion is really key in wellness with mental health, and is also key in public understanding... As mental health is often kept under wraps, or behind closed doors... And as a person with deep anxiety, that can be very isolating for me.. And some channels that are more open and honest help me feel connected, so thank you for telling your story authentically, and being yourself.

Wow I can't believe people are so judgmental. I love all your insights about things. Why can't we all show compassion instead. Anyway I love your choice of style for everything you've picked out for your new place so far. And if I didn't I would just shut my face. Lol! We all like and do what makes us happy and comfortable oh and hey you got this! Yes you do!

I’m glad you were honest about your journey, your anxiety, your story, and I’m very sorry you were judged harshly because you allowed us to share it all with you. I think you made the best decision for yourself to settle in one place for awhile. The fact that you recognized and acted on the need to start a new chapter shows that you are a smart and strong woman. I enjoy your channel and I look forward to following along on your new adventures!

Hi there from Australia. Life isn’t perfect and you are so right for sharing the good, the bad and the ugly. Had you only showed the good, your channel would only strive to give people false hope.
Thank you for all you do and good luck for 2023.
