Many many changes too. I'm one of those people that gets bored easily and my life changes every two to three years. Some people like change, others don't. Yes, as we speak I am turning into a werewolf & it is sooo annoying. 😜 Kidding aside, I have a question. Since rv/vans are still at a premium, are you considering at all selling your van while at it's highest value? Or just worth keeping for the moment? Thanks

🎼"Regrets, I've had a few..."😉Life brings change. I'm one of those few humans who embrace change. Boredom has been my enemy since I was a little kid! But stupid pandemic wrecked me, truly. Became agoraphobic, the PTSD came back, the ANXIETY swallowed me whole. I barely left my house except to go to my little cottage in the Summer. Jan '22, I got uterine cancer, finished treatment in June, am finally moving out of the "rage" phase. Now, I have NO fear. Screw it... I lived! My husband is still so scared, thought he was gonna lose me (sweetie!).. But I'm staying here for the FUN. I'm going to the Caribbean next week! I'm done with fear, open to all adventures. Still anxious, always will be. But I win, anxiety. No fear. You're doing GREAT, Amber. Happy for ya! Cute place!!! 💐(Got your sticker on my car and my laptop... I'm representing you, pretty lady!!!)

Boy can I relate to you today! 2022 was one of the hardest years for me as well. Sickness sidelined me and “forced” me into an early retirement. I have recovered and am welcoming the change as I had a very stressful job and was constantly being given additional responsibilities outside the scope of my job. They were burning me out from the inside out!..Pretty toxic now that I can dissect it from a far. Glad you are feeling better. Anxiety/depression sucks! Take care..❤your channel. I'm glad that you've been authentic with your process. I know you've gotten some flack some some people, but I wanted to give you the other side. It totally makes sense to me that you would get tired of being on the road after a number of years. Full time on the road isn't for everyone, especially not indefinitely. So thanks for continuing to be authentic with your own story chasing adventure, and not trying to produce a story that other people want. What I appreciate about you is your realness. As somebody who has had a lot of depression and anxiety, it makes me feel like I can relate to your situation. Although my situation is very different, I can definitely relate to the occasional uncertainty of life. And the uncertainty of what should go next.

Kim thank you for sharing your perspective and kind compliments. It’s sometimes hard to navigate this path when I’m also thinking about what’s best for me, how can I show something that might help somebody else, and still make a entertaining and successful video. It can be agonizing and I out a lot of pressure on myself. I hope you are being kind to yourself with the anxiety and depression and have support. It can be hard to deal with otherwise.

I am sorry you felt so harshly judged for sharing a difficult part of your life. I think more people appreciate it than look down on you for it. I have always preferred to surround myself with people who aren't afraid to show some of their hardships - it's easier to relate to those kind of people and easier to then open up myself. Sometimes you just need to talk it out and not be afraid that you will be judged for your feelings. Thanks for being you.
And btw, I love that bed frame. My dream is to have one just like it! And it's been fun to come along with you as you decorate your little part time home. ♥️

Long Time Viewer. 1st time commenting. Thank You for being honest and sharing your full life experience. IMHO a big factor in the high rates of depression and anxiety in our society is related to the pressure to be fake, To present an air brushed life. It does not allow us the necessary vulnerability to feel heard, validated and thus supported to process our hurt, heal it and thus move on to the next chapter in our life. Since I am 51 and living with my parents partly to save money and partly to help them out with their health challenges, Watching your videos gives me a chance to Travel with you. Thank You!

To tell you the truth, it always made me up tight, the constant moving and having to spend so much energy finding a place for the night, just felt like you were missing out on so much. Best formula we use is leave by 10 stop travel about 200 miles stop and spend 2 days in a spot. When you stop, explore the area and decide which direction you want to go when you leave. ❣️❣️❣️. Before long you’ll be ready to go again.

Hi Amber… I also changed my nomad life. I sold my Motorhome and am glad for it. I have been following you for a few years and just 3 weeks ago I also changed my way of eating. As I learned more and more about a low carb, meat based diet, everything has changed for the better.
I have been guided to share this with you. With your thousands of followers, your sharp mind, and honest, authentic manner, you might be interested in giving meat a chance. My results of being in such a peaceful mood and extra energy is awesome. Of course trimming down those unwanted pounds is also a dream come true.
I listen to the small whisper I hear from my spiritual guidance and they continue to ask me to share this with you. I would have sent a private message but I just don’t know how.
Even though I did not want to send this message because I try to stay away from attention, your personality is perfect and that is why I enjoyed your channel.
I want nothing from you nor am I selling anything. Meat is sold at all stores.
I believe in synchronicity and perhaps this is not the first time you have heard about a carnivore/ lion diet. It’s time to heal our bodies and I for one have found a method that works. I was shocked by the results.
Blessings to you, Amber, as you explore your newest journey.

I can't imagine following someone for years and having them hide a sad time in their life and their temporary feelings. To out on a phony happiness all because real feelings might "trigger" somebody else. NO! Life is not like that. There are ups and downs and all that matters is being normally authentic. I'm glad you showed it all and your transitioning thru it the best way for you. Blessings Dear!

Thank you for your vulnerability, and openness. And although you stated having triggered others anxiety.. I feel strongly that being open about mental health, vulnerable, authentic and open to discussion is really key in wellness with mental health, and is also key in public understanding... As mental health is often kept under wraps, or behind closed doors... And as a person with deep anxiety, that can be very isolating for me.. And some channels that are more open and honest help me feel connected, so thank you for telling your story authentically, and being yourself.

I’m glad you were honest about your journey, your anxiety, your story, and I’m very sorry you were judged harshly because you allowed us to share it all with you. I think you made the best decision for yourself to settle in one place for awhile. The fact that you recognized and acted on the need to start a new chapter shows that you are a smart and strong woman. I enjoy your channel and I look forward to following along on your new adventures!

Yes, I can see why being on the road full time could burn anyone out. Constantly having to worry about finding a place to stay and having to pay for every night. Safety, where to get internet, where to get food etc. Good job on finding the right mix. ps You have one of the best cameras ever. So clear.

For the last 11 or 12 years, I was the caregiver for my precious brother, Dad, & Mom. Losing them, & having no other family has been a very difficult & an emotional challenge. I was so wonderfully blessed to have such a loving family, I don't regret anything except that I couldn't do more & I couldn't fix their health. During my life, I have also lost many precious pets which was also very painful. They're not "just an animal" to me. But I am no different than millions of other people who've experienced similar losses, difficulties, health issues, etc. The gift of love we receive from family, friends, & pets is worth every tear, every broken heart, the loneliness, & all the healing time. At some point, we begin to let go of some of the pain so that the happy memories take over most of our thoughts. I'm on your side, & so are thousands of other people. You aren't alone. 😊🤗❤️

I’m so sorry you lost viewers as you shared your most vulnerable side. I respect and have the utmost empathy for those who didn’t know/couldn’t handle your story (anxiety, depression). It was heart breaking to watch in some cases. Sheesh, even in the opening of this video when you held Lily’s tag saying how much you love and miss her made me cry all over again. The sad part is we ALL go through it one way or another. I guess it depends on how we handle it. I’m even happier for you now that you took the time you KNOW was well overdue. Stay warm. Stay safe.

I think sharing that part of your life was really a good thing. It cuts through the “everything’s perfect in my life” facade which can often be portrayed on social media. That does a lot of harm to people too. More harm I would suggest than you sharing your real life challenges. Thank you for keeping it real and I think the situation you are in is perfect and would likely suit a lot of other people. Your true followers are those who watch the channel for you. I love where your at now and I’m looking forward to seeing what you get up to in 2023. 🤗💖

It’s a good balance. Being on the road is hard! There are a lot for folks buying a cabin etc to do the same thing as you. I love your videos and your new rug and the cabinet! I love decorating as well, fun fun fun❣️

LOVE this video! You do have your spark back! First, LOVE Frisco. We did a construction project in Dallas area and lived very near there for a couple of months. My oldest daughter even graduated from homeschool there and we took tons of pics around that area. Second - your art.... so creative and inspiring and love the voice over as you are doing it. At one point it made me think about laying on the ground looking up at the sky with my kids and seeing shapes. I saw a duck and a bear in your painting. :). So glad you have found a place to refresh, renew and hopefully find the peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am so glad I started watching your channel. You are authentic, real and especially honest about how full time van life really is.
Soooo many people comment on full time VL and they’ve never even been camping much less built a van they could actually live in, sold off/gotten rid of almost everything the own and set off on an adventure with their heart in their throat.
    If you know, you know.
Most people will never know the angst that comes from your phone blaring out the emergency weather alert and having to figure out how to get to safety, find a place to sleep where there could be fire, flooding, hail the size of golf balls, tornado or excessive unsafe heat waves.
The struggle is real and it’s intense sometimes. It’s also one of the best things I have ever done.
I’m also super happy that you made the decision you did and are honoring your decision. There is no sense in living even short term in a place with your bed on the floor and living in surroundings that don’t bring you joy and afford you the opportunity to step back and plan your next adventure. Decorate, nest and enjoy it !!!
As for the viewers you lost, I am pretty sure you would not intentionally harm another person and if they were triggered that isn’t anything you could control. As you move forward you will attract new people who want to share in your story and what ever will come next for you.
I think you are handling this great and doing all the right things ❤❤❤
Peace and love to as you walk into your future.

Hi Amber, ...love, love your bed, rug, cool cart, etc. I need to get me one of those carts.
...everything is looking great. Good job at ikea and I agree, keep it minimalist since your plan is going back into the van later on. You can at least take the comforter with you, for the van, when that time comes.
You look very happy and relaxed. Painting does help with relaxing. Love seeing you with your sister. You both always have a good time together. When I'm with my sisters, we are always laughing and having fun. Actually, talking about doing some crafts together. I'm so sorry to hear you lost some subscribers but it will build back up again. Well, I need to check on dinner; thank you for another great episode. 🤗💞
