I’ve been there and took me a while to realize. Perhaps reconsider what really is your fault and what you can’t control. Broken relationships are extremely hard(I’m not gonna say impossible because I’m not an expert) to recover. And even if they do, there will be a huge scar. And sometimes It’s okay to let things go my friend.

The rebound relationship is more likely to fail, especially if they work together. Seeing each other everyday at work. Hanging out every weekend. It gets repetitive and your ex has no time to get away from their rebound and wonder about where this person stands. And yes, no-contact makes you a mystery. You’ll eventually become more and more appealing again to your ex as they wonder where you stand. It works! Stay strong!

I found out about her only 2 weeks after the breakup. I think she was there the entire time too. You don’t just “lose feelings” and leave for no reason and be just fine with not talking to someone who was a big part of your life unless there’s someone else.

Photo appeared a couple of days of her in a restaurant with two drinks pictured and a male hand holding a pint. Could be anybody of course, but could well be somebody new. If you’re no longer in a relationship then it’s yours and the ex’s right to explore other avenues and perhaps even sleep with other people. It’s none of each other’s business what happens during separation. If reconciliation happens and get back together then the subject of date details with other people should never be discussed (no good can possibly come out from it and it’s not necessary)

Believe it or not it’s more common than you think women go to somebody else to take control especially if you didn’t put up with her bs. With my ex she straight up told me she left me because I was too attractive and I put her in her place too much. Success story! My ex left me for a co worker! I went no contact for a month worked on myself! When I reached out.. her rebound was already gone! The rebound relationship started while they were still with you. They left you once that person was interested. DO NO CONTACT The new person has to live up to the standards you set in your ex's mind. I think you are right, the rebound relationship started while he was still with me because after 5 days he broke up with me the new one flew immediately to see him and now they are living together in a new apartment and left me( she is from another country).
I have been watching and listening to your videos for a while now. I have been in NC and you have been so helpful to me. IF I start to cave, I start listening and gain back the strenght to stay in NC. A friend told me she is furious with me and thinks I am stalking her. I immediately blocked her on FB. Thank you coach lee. Two days ago I found out my ex of 11 years got into a rebound 2 weeks after he broke up with me. The worst is I had no clue especially because he was keeping my hopes by saying he loves me every two weeks. By saying I am the one, that he wants to have kids with me and build a family. And then I find out while he was constantly telling me this that he was with a persons. Even when I confronted him he still says he loves me and I’m the one. That he is/was with her because she gave him things I didn’t give him. When I found out I was super understanding with him. However the day after (yesterday) I still tried to keep my calm but at night I was mad and angry and upset. Thank you for this video, I will do exactly what you said showing understanding and stepping way from all this drama. Needless to say I feel completely betrayed and also feel sorry for the girl because she doesn’t even know he was all this time speaking with me and that we had sex several times while he was with her (I had sex with him not even knowing that he was with her). As you mention, "unless they have narcissistic tendencies or some mental and emotional flaw" that enable them to just flick a switch... The problem is there are A LOT of people with those characteristics unfortunately, who can not process grief from a relationship or enjoy playing with people as objects. I start to believe I was used as a rebound and emotional crutch by my ex with borderline disorder.
My Ex was definitely not a narc but certainly had an Avoidant Attachment Style due to previous long term E & P abuse, and was extremely sensitive and hurt ( hidden) without being able to say. Result was she could suddenly flip the Off Switch savagely and never look back.
This is my problem, she’s a narcissist, even said the switch has gone, discarded me 12 weeks ago, with a new guy 4 weeks ago, I did everything wrong, only been in no contact 2 days

Coach Lee is a legend. I've learned so much for him. I am not in a panic. I am enough. I also know she misses me, has made contact. We've talked several times, but I am in no contact because she's with someone. My happiness doesn't depend on her choosing me over him. I think it's quite the opposite. If she was with you for 10 years - she knows everything about you, she is bored of you. Thank you for these videos, I’m going through a really though break up I took the relationship for granted and after 5 years she told me she didn’t have the same feelings for me, I know it’s my fault and I’m kicking myself for it. The breakup was hard but finding out she is with someone else has been an absolute killer, I’m hoping it’s just a rebound thing and we can still rekindle what we had, she’s kind of acting out of character and doing things she normally wouldn’t, I’ve been in no contact for nearly 3 weeks (apart from a merry Christmas message I sent her). A bit more than a 2 year relationship. She absolutely loved me. Another guy came into the equation, she lost attraction because of my behavior. We used to do a lot of things but that went downhill fast the last 3 months. She broke up with me, we saw each other 2 days later on a saturday and she couldn't hold herself together. We cried and we were doing quite okay. Some small realizations and then we cried hard. We didn't want to lose each other. She even said she didn't want to break up but this is the best thing for now. I agreed. You can't force love. I now do the NC. Note: that doesn't mean ignoring her on purpose. I dont text call or snapchat her or contact her in any way. NOTHING. Until she reaches out to me. We even both did a wish. She said she thinks we wished the same. We even kissed again. Just one small kiss. And while hugging we kissed on each others cheeks. It went well and she said she wanted to see me again soon. But for now I'm going to work on myself. The other guy is still there and I dont care. If she goes with him then fine, I'll get over her even sooner. But they wont work out. And she will soon miss me I hope . Trust me i sometimes feel hopeless. I feel sick in my stomach. My ex immediately broke up with me to date someone else. That was about 2 months ago. I haven't reached out at all but she has reached out twice. The latest time was to tell me how much she missed me and thinks about me all the time. I simply replied that I missed her as well but she made the choice to see him and I respected her decision and wished her the best. Even though she hasn't broken up with him I feel no contact has started to work on her. I don't know what the future holds and I'm sure she just wants to not feel guilty about hurting me. I didn't see any guy with her, but yep, eventually she told me it was her BF standing there. Dude was silent and as invisible as he could be. I'm not sure he's gonna like how #1 I'm taller and obviously in shape #2 how she reacted so strongly. After all SHE dumped me, and SHE is with a new BF. With that reaction, her mom's words, and so on. Yeah, it might be a typical short rebound. Plus let's say it was 2-3 months after our breakup she started seeing him, for her it's a very short time, not her style. Hence my very unpleasant surprise but anyway. Story over. Who knows. My ex split up with me 6 weeks ago after going out with her friends and some lads a few times and tried telling me she needed to find herself. The one thing i disagree with is responding to an ex whilst there in a rebound, your doing nothing but stroke their ego, if shes in the honeymoon phase uve zero chance of her leavin him for you so any reply you give her does nothing for you and everything for her ego even a neutral responce could be perceived as weakness in your reply and could make her fink your optionless, no you let her completely end him first n only then you even consider replying to her.

It’s none of each other’s business what happens during separation. Two days ago I found out my ex of 11 years got into a rebound 2 weeks after he broke up with me. The worst is I had no clue especially because he was keeping my hopes by saying he loves me every two weeks. By saying I am the one, that he wants to have kids with me and build a family. And then I find out while he was constantly telling me this that he was with a persons. Even when I confronted him he still says he loves me and I’m the one. That he is/was with her because she gave him things I didn’t give him.
When I found out I was super understanding with him. However the day after (yesterday) I still tried to keep my calm but at night I was mad and angry and upset. Thank you for this video, I will do exactly what you said showing understanding and stepping way from all this drama.
Needless to say I feel completely betrayed and also feel sorry for the girl because she doesn’t even know he was all this time speaking with me and that we had sex several times while he was with her (I had sex with him not even knowing that he was with her).

Your story is EXACTLY like mine. Together 8 years, he left this summer - told me he was staying with his friend "Ryan". Finally found out he moved straight out of OUR home in with HER. Honest to God my ex left me for another man she thought the grass was greener on the other side. I kept it quiet went to the gym went to church worked and met a whole bunch of beautiful woman who are worth my time and way better than someone who will leave you for no reason. She tried coming back to me using other platforms I kept blocking blocking and blocking didn’t even respond. You have to understand there is a billion females out here who will love you for who you are and will support you no matter what. As you mention, "unless they have narcissistic tendencies or some mental and emotional flaw" that enable them to just flick a switch... The problem is there are A LOT of people with those characteristics unfortunately, who can not process grief from a relationship or enjoy playing with people as objects.

My Ex was definitely not a narc but certainly had an Avoidant Attachment Style due to previous long term E & P abuse, and was extremely sensitive and hurt ( hidden) without being able to say. Result was she could suddenly flip the Off Switch savagely and never look back.

if they have a tendency to jump in relationships right after one ends, then that's another story. In that case, I strongly encourage you to move on.
I think it's quite the opposite. If she was with you for 10 years - she knows everything about you, she is bored of you. She needs new emotions and new dude she monkey branched to gives her better NEW emotions. And with you - she doesn't even speak to you, cause she doesn't want to feel the guilt. You don't exist - there is no trigger for guilt.
Especially if she is diagnosed with BPD.
Thank you for these videos, I’m going through a really though break up I took the relationship for granted and after 5 years she told me she didn’t have the same feelings for me, I know it’s my fault and I’m kicking myself for it. A bit more than a 2 year relationship. She absolutely loved me. Another guy came into the equation, she lost attraction because of my behavior. We used to do a lot of things but that went downhill fast the last 3 months. She broke up with me, we saw each other 2 days later on a saturday and she couldn't hold herself together. We cried and we were doing quite okay. Some small realizations and then we cried hard. We didn't want to lose each other. She even said she didn't want to break up but this is the best thing for now. I agreed. You can't force love. I now do the NC. Note: that doesn't mean ignoring her on purpose. I dont text call or snapchat her or contact her in any way. NOTHING. Until she reaches out to me. We even both did a wish. She said she thinks we wished the same. We even kissed again. Just one small kiss. And while hugging we kissed on each others cheeks. It went well and she said she wanted to see me again soon. But for now I'm going to work on myself. The other guy is still there and I dont care. If she goes with him then fine, I'll get over her even sooner. But they wont work out. And she will soon miss me I hope .
Trust me i sometimes feel hopeless. I feel sick in my stomach. Havent eaten for days sometimes. Trust me. Apply the no contact, work on yourself. You WILL feel better.

My ex immediately broke up with me to date someone else. That was about 2 months ago. I haven't reached out at all but she has reached out twice. The latest time was to tell me how much she missed me and thinks about me all the time. I simply replied that I missed her as well but she made the choice to see him and I respected her decision and wished her the best. Even though she hasn't broken up with him I feel no contact has started to work on her. I don't know what the future holds and I'm sure she just wants to not feel guilty about hurting me. But clearly I am on her mind and separation anxiety from no contact has been an assest.

So get this I work with my ex of six months, who went into a relationship with someone else that also works there. They got together less than three months after we split. Old video but damn it helped. But the thing, part of me is tired of the hope, of the dream. I'm sure I'm not alone at all in this and most of you reading this share this too. Of course a good part of me wants her back, but I really thought a rebond would mean the end, from my POV at least. I had broken NC earlier this week by a non emotional text after 4 full months of complete blackout, no social media, nothing. As a her dad is my client I actually kind of invited myself to her parents' place yesterday. It was like I had never left, her dad and mom were so warm and friendly. I didn't get the hint the mother was saying exactly on this rebound topic... In fact I was bugged I couldn't get a clue if she was with a new BF or not, but well, she had droppe one, I just didn't get it. And, earlier today, I came across my ex at a supplement store, totally unplanned!
I mean, it was my ex' week for sure! All that in a few days. She was all stressed out, anxious and all. I didn't see any guy with her, but yep, eventually she told me it was her BF standing there. Dude was silent and as invisible as he could be. I'm not sure he's gonna like how #1 I'm taller and obviously in shape #2 how she reacted so strongly. After all SHE dumped me, and SHE is with a new BF. With that reaction, her mom's words, and so on. Yeah, it might be a typical short rebound. Plus let's say it was 2-3 months after our breakup she started seeing him, for her it's a very short time, not her style. Hence my very unpleasant surprise but anyway. Story over. Who knows. Hope brings... hope, but it sure keeps the pain alive too! And your video brings hope. I don't know if to thank you or not for that ha ha. I appreciate your wise words of course.

The one thing i disagree with is responding to an ex whilst there in a rebound, your doing nothing but stroke their ego, if shes in the honeymoon phase uve zero chance of her leavin him for you so any reply you give her does nothing for you and everything for her ego even a neutral responce could be perceived as weakness in your reply and could make her fink your optionless, no you let her completely end him first n only then you even consider replying to her.

Yes of course. All those are most likely good memories and she will look back on those. Since this new guy has probably no memories with her at all and they just jumped into it then she will start to compare you to him and think back on your relationship.

Coach Lee my girl monkey branched into something new within less than a week of ending things with me! Together 8 years with a couple of breakups, I just can’t believe it’s happened again, it’s horrid. I’m in no contact but I just assume she’s happy and fine and probably will continue this, I’ve lost so much sleep over this despite continuing my life. I hope she comes back.

My ex is in a rebound relationship and was hiding it. They have been dating for less than a month. She lied about who he is and now he moved away. She’s been super sad about it and feeling lonely. It seems like she really likes this guy and wants to wait on him lol. I’ve been moving on in the process and not interested in being back with her anymore. She’s been acting immature and playing games since the breakup and posted a photo with this guy a week after the breakup.
So my ex wanted me to message her new boyfriend since he was freaking about about me seeing her when we have to for competitions. Other than that I’m not even in the picture. Shows me that he’s playing a game in his head and he’s obviously loosing to me who isn’t trying 😂

Coach Lee I don't know what to think about my situation . I have been in no contact for a while now , I ain't got a phone call , a knock at the door , no nothing . 😂 It's like he love me , he loves me not , it's like somebody throwing a coin up in the air to see if it's heads or tails when it falls . It's like Russian Roulette . So what I do is watch your videos because you give us hope but like you also tell us sometimes our ex may never come back . My ex was married before and we met around a year and a half after her separation, she still had photos with her ex on Instagram and I asked her to remove them, she did and after almost a year of her and me being together, I found out that she had her ex on Facebook and Instagram as a friend, and she says that she won't remove him because he doesn't bother her and he doesn't mean anything for her, she finally said that she will do it but asked for time, a week later she broke up with me now I understand that I was in a rebound relationship and most likely she won't comeback with me and she will come back with her ex.

My ex has told me that she is thinking about going back to on-line contact with a guy she left for me. He lives abroad is an older man, but they seem to have a conection and he is willing to financially support her. Why did she tell me this and does anybody have any advice as to what I should do.

l ve been watching youtube stuff about rebound and no conact since 2months now but l think your channel is the best. l trust in you. My ex and me been together for 1yr. in March we been a long holiday in South East Asia and after that we should finally move together. At the airport she broke up with me. l did all that begging and stuff. She was always replying. We live in different countries since 3 months now. l txt her 1-2x since that but she never replied and blocked me everywhere 1 month after. A friend just told me she is in a new realtionship since July18th.. My last msg was to try her get on phone to build attraction but she never replied so l did not call.
There’s nothing you can do here but stay in complete no contact. Either she reaches out to you or you move on. I recommend moving on as best you can.

I'm doing the NC. Me and my ex where in a 11 year relationship, it ended due to a lot of reasons , she begged to come back but I had to get away for selfish and mental issues, about 5 months after shes dating someone. What is your advice when someone else has sabotaged your image to your ex and has now claimed that person for themselves? Haven't found to much advice on this issue yet. No contact is still the best option but I don't see how it's as effective when your ex is preoccupied with that new person and not even thinking of you. I'm willing to bet this new person has even advised my ex to block me on social medias so he can keep my ex out of her thoughts. Just a theory. The way my relationship went down has strong indications that she broke up with me, who treated her well, to be with this guy who didn't treat her well. This guy is a manipulator. What chance do I have against this situation? My ex is far to vulnerable and naive a person to see through this.

If they are an avoidant, they are gone. I am 34. My 37 ex GF of 5 years left me and ghosted me for a 55 year old man she met at the mall. She is now going to his house every night and bringing the dog. She tried to hide she left me for someone. I found out from her mom. The neighbor (my friend) has confirmed my ex is never home now. My ex is a sex addict and wanted me to degrade her and be super forceful (a bit rapey) all the time. That’s just not me. She found a macho guy to take care of that. She is an avoidant liar. I will never hear from her but thank god!
