The "it was the only thing he left me" line is funny until you realize that the gi was really the only thing Goku truly owned, he literally left everything he had to his son, and his son never realized
@@Jpx0999 the power pole was placed on top of Korin’s tower to connect it to Kami’s lookout, and the nimbus is a sentient being, so he can’t really “give” it to him, and I don’t think Goku actually knows where his old house is.
*Spoiler alert* When #17 says how the lack of the energy sense is an intentional design flaw, I never thought it before that way since Cell has life energy. So #17 and #18 not able to sense is making sure they couldn't escape Cell, and maybe that's why Gero didn't want #16 to be turned on since it could sense life energy - thus later assisting #18 to escape Cell. Like dots are connecting.
no that wouldn't make sense either. cause cell can also hide his energy like the z-fighters. it's so that the androids have a hard time locating the z-fighters and is used as a "stalling" mechnic. that's how gohan and trunks survives, and that's why it took so long for the androids to find goku in the main timeline until 16 pointed out he knows their personal information and can sense where they are.
That does makes sense even tho cell could hide his energy it’s better to be more efficient than for harder work and it makes sense for Android 17 & 18 to not being able to sense energy to make it way easier for cell cause think about it put it in geros perspective you are mad with getting revenge and you have had more than +20 years for this revenge plan of yours so naturally you would want it to be as successful and efficient as possible, Gero had no knowledge of the heart virus for Goku so made your plan around dealing with a healthy Goku in mind, all the Z fighters including Goku would be very suspicious on cell’s ki remember in timeline where trunks returned almost everyone was able to pick up on cell’s ki right away and would be draw to it making cell on the run constantly like before which would be even more difficult for cell to obtain the Androids if they could sense energy sure if the Androids were able to sense energy they would be more efficient killers but then again they were rebellious teens not wanting to obey their creator so in order to grantee that power Gero made cell and you can say Androids were plan A and cell was Plan B in case plan A failed or still hasn’t killed Goku and could also be a sick twisted way of getting back at the rebellious cyborg teens for not listening to him and make it a hunting game for cell cause the Androids can’t detect power levels
@@asianpersuasion4901 I could argue that Gero wouldn't have known what skills Cell would adapt since he died long before Cell was ready. Gero didn't know about Super Saiyans yet Cell was fully aware of Piccolo's regeneration cells and didn't flinch when Vegeta transformed (if recall, that was the first time in the show Cell battling against transformed Saiyan). Obviously this is overthinking something Toriyama was forced to make as publishers complained. I never truly understood why Gero didn't want #18 to wake #16, the design flaw is kind of vague reason. Also the bomb in #16's chest is kind of pointless reasons since both #17 and #18 have their own. The #17's idea of having a Sunday drive to Goku's place was there to show they are more human than robots - the flaw Gero wasn't able to fix.
Alternatively, Gero might’ve just not figured out how to do it using cybernetic upgrades. Cell could do it because he was cloned from people who could.
What really hurts is the dis on dub Trunks, damn actually wait I think he meant the Trunks from the time he was with Gohan and yeah I prefer both the old dub and this abridged dub of Trunks compared to the while talented, the one in Kakarots History of Trunks throws me off so hard because of the way Trunks looks
@@JackTheBusReacts haha no worries dude. If you want the movies in watch order I can hook you up with the order we intended them. Thanks again for watching!
Monty Oum was a popular animator who had a big hand in later seasons of the show Red vs Blue, by Rooster Teeth, and other works. He died of a severe allergic reaction while undergoing a fairly routine surgery.
His own works were Dead Fantasy (Dead or Alive vs Final Fantasy) and RWBY. He was an excellent combat animator in particular, able to move stuff at lightning speed while keeping the action really clear and easy to watch. I don't think he had anything to do with DBZA but he was such a promising animator taken way too soon.
Idk. After fusing with kami. The real piccolo would know how to pronounce it. Or at least kami would correct him til he got it right lol. But we have no way of knowing if future piccolo had fused with kami and still died or just died.
If you look back at the scream when it happened on Namek when he screams it cuts to the scene you're talking about with Trunks talking to Bulma and the scream in the background suggesting that its not the scream getting back to earth, but that scream is actually currently happening in that moment just the scream was so powerful it transcended time itself.
@@hanzohamster Yes. but if it were the sound waves getting back to Earth then it'd simply get there before Goku did honestly. it transcending time makes more sense.
People are DEFINITELY messing up Gohan's age in this part. Canonically he, when Trunks is born is roughly 9-10 years old. 13 years have passed so Gohan is roughly 22-23 years old age.
I reckon you're very close. But they do say Gohan is 12 during his fight with Cell. He spent a year in the Chamber, so he's proably around 10-11 when Trunks is born.
@@thedoyla it's never said he is 12 He is canonically born in 757 and cell died in 767 SO Gohan is 9 year old buuut time chamber so he is 10 against cell Hell the buu saga supports this saying he is 16 16 - 7 is 9 and and in the manga That year in the time chamber is not counted Future Gohan is 22-23 when he died
Please don't let the abridge or the fandom missinform you, Gohan actually loves Goku (Yeah, he can't spent a lot of time with him, but it was because Goku died anyway, both of them are really close)
Yeah, like as much as he wishes Goku were around more, Goku has always been 100% behind whatever Gohan does. Whenever Gohan has doubted himself, Goku has always told him he can do anything. He's never said a negative thing to anyone, ever (who hasn't tried to harm his loved ones), and Gohan has definitely appreciated that positivity, especially against his (fondly) overbearing mother.
Gohan's daddy issues are something TFS made up. In the actual show and the manga, Gohan absolutely idolizes his father. There's always been a debate in the fandom about Goku being a good or a bad father and how Gohan would feel about it I guess Team Four Star thought it'd be a good running joke.
If I recall correctly Lani came out at one point and said they full on regret putting in the Goku is a bad father jokes as people for some reason kept taking the jokes as canon.
@@jayceebee30 the debate was already there, they just amplified it and some people mistake their abridged version for the original canon. I never understood why Gohan would be mad at Goku, at least not in Namek. Goku had died rescuing him from Raditz, then he came back as soon as he could to rescue him again and after that Gohan went to Namek before Goku was fit and Goku saved his ass from the Gynyu Force and from Frieza. Between the end of the Namek saga and Goku's return I do get why Gohan would be angry, but in the Future of Trunks timeline Goku spent almost 3 years at home before the heart virus killed him. How's dying from a heart attack abandoning your family? I'm actually surprised Gohan doesn't have "mommy issues" in canon with Chichi being the control freak she is.
I love the dynamic that 17 and 18 have. They do super cruel things, and yet, even in the future timeline, they kinda just vibe and do whatever they want. And once again, Abridged does a perfect blend of comedy and seriousness.
The people getting angry at you for calling them androids are kinda...wrong, anyway. See, in Japanese they're named _Jinzoningen,_ which means "artificial human". The standard English translation for this term is "android", because...well...that's what it usually means. Dragon Ball's actually a bit of an outlier when it comes to the word, and translating it as "Android #17" and such in English is actually pretty accurate. It's Dr. Gero who's the weirdo for calling them that. That's how they're _named,_ but if you look at their individual descriptions, they're all different. #17 and #18 were both human to begin with and were modified in ways that are never truly explained. Bulma says they're still mostly human, "which is why Cell thinks it can merge with them," and a narration in a chapter cover describes them as having "bio-organic enhancements". So "cyborg" might not be the right descriptor for them either, exactly? The Japanese word for them would be _Kaizoningen,_ meaning "modified human", which does cover cyborgs as well (and is the word used for a lot of Kamen Riders, too). Maybe they're more like...mutants...? It's unclear. Cell is what we in English would probably call a bioroid, a.k.a. a biological android, but "artificial human" works just as well for him in Japanese I suppose? Interesting side note: the word android is defined as "a robot in the shape of a human". The word robot comes from a slavic play about artificial human servants, but they were portrayed more like what we'd call bioroids--artificial, but organic; not clones, but organic beings built on an assembly line. I just think it's interesting because it goes to show that our assumption that something can't be an android if it isn't made of metal doesn't fit with the origin of the word. And with that in mind, maybe someone is still a cyborg if they're only enhanced by "bio-organic" components? **wild shrugging**
and it makes sense that they are all called androids, because IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH OG DRAGON BALL, the red ribbon army created full on robots with human emotions, aka ANDROIDS. aka android 8. and the numbers kept going up, and the name "androids" continued, even if they started turning actual humans into robots.
Ok how are they wrong? An don’t say read what I wrote, they are cyborgs and not androids. Nobody knows why toryiama called them that some say it sounded cooler others say he didn’t know the difference but there is no reason to say that people who say their not androids is wrong is just stupid. An I’m issue 349 I think titled androids awake they do state that they were forceibly taken an experimented on
They somehow made this depressing and hilarious at the same time, really captured it perfectly, remember watching this when it came out, good memories.
It's cool to see you finally start reacting to DBZA videos that aren't the numbered ones BUT whoever told you to watch this special before the Android/Cell saga doesn't know what they're talking about. This episode should of been watched a few episodes after Cell shows up because it has references to jokes said in this saga. You need to watch the first 3 DBZA movies and the Bardock special (maybe both of them)
Goku was actually a very caring father with Gohan before Raditz showed up, that's why he was so wimpy as a kid (like any other 4yd) Mostly is filler (but good filler that fits the Lore)
I love the original sad scene of Gohan is demise But the abridged version actually did it really well The music The flashes of 17 and 18 beating Gohan was haunting And the acting was phenomenal Surprisingly for a joke series they almost do just as good as a dragon ball story writers themselves when they try their hardest
Well even when Vegeta did it originally in abridged on Namek you get a cut to this scene of Trunks and Bulma talking and Vegetas scream echoing in the background.
FYI: Monty was an up-and-coming popular animator. He made some kickass shorts then that show RWBY. He fell ill and died just after season 3 of RWBY I think.
Season 2. The scene at the start of season 3 with the birds flying towards the sun was a tribute to him (similar to how he signed his name). Also, Monty was the voice of Ren in the first two seasons, but his brother took over the role after his passing, starting with season 3.

Gohan is not 18 here, he’s 6 when Goku returns to Earth, 9 when Goku dies and that was 12 or 13 years ago. He’s at least 21 if he never spent any time in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber
I doubt he ever found out about the chamber , since all his friends got murdered , including Piccolo , and therefore Kami. The only person , if we can call him that , who could have told him this was Mr. Popo , but I'm not aware that the two knew about each other at all .
I’m pretty sure he’s 10 when Trunks is born and the Androids/Cyborgs show up (and that’s in every timeline), and Future Gohan doesn’t see him again until Trunks is 14 and Gohan makes his student. Flying requires basic ki control to learn, which requires vast Physical Strength to Achieve. Anyone can learn to fly just like anyone can workout and learn Martial Arts.... but not everyone does, though irl being able to learn to fly would be a better incentive than lifting heavy things.
I mean Videl learned to fly and shes at least on par or under Hercule. Ki control is more of a mental than physical thing, its more like you have to meditate a lot and have more experience with it. Same kinda concept , it still takes time and work to grasp it , but its not like something they have to maintain really and even the strongest person ever could not know how to fly and have trouble learning how to fly. because its not really about strength. Strength , mental power, and life force are what ki is controlling it comes to the mental side, getting stronger could be mental [like with Piccolo typically doing meditation training and Krillin and Gohans image training] or it could just manifest in the way Goku and Vegeta do, just regular physical training. But at the end of the day being strong has nothing to do with ki control its more of a skill.

Thats why I really don't think you should get too caught up in the "canon, not canon" thing just treat it as two different iterations of the same story. GT is more of the adventure kinda thing with unique powers and an actually cool transformation. One of its major downsides is instead of taking inspiration from OG dragon ball with the adventure aspect to it , often times it feels like its trying to BE OG dragon ball. Whereas Supers more lacking in the story and character department but has better fights and animation. The argument between super and GT is silly, just enjoy both. However I do think a revised GT with a source material by Toyotaro [the current manga artist for Dragon Ball] would be good. And its not like the dude doesn't have experience with that part of dragon ball, he wrote his own continuation and made his own form in a fan manga Dragon Ball AF which tbh I haven't read but it seemed like an unofficial continuation of GT because it has super saiyan 4. Super is good with the scale of what goes on in the story as well as the big difference in power between Goku and a lot of people he meets but, its a lot more like abridged series in how they show Goku as "dumb" plus the power scaling sometimes just doesn't make sense in some situations and some fights though again, the show is still good and was incredibly hype as the episodes were released. There were so many people that gathered in one place to watch them and it was like people gathering to watch a world cup match.
Not even the power scaling in DBZ made much sense(and Jack is completely right, logic and DB are archenemies since pretty much forever) to be frank, and the only thing GT has really over Super was that it tried to be more like OG DB again(at which it failed to be frank).
@@gunchar06 Nah he's right, in GT Goku is shown to be a good fighter who is smart and strategic when it comes to battling. In Super he's pretty much just retarded. He still has a few good fights, but in GT he had a plan and fought with strategy. In Super he goes in swinging and if that doesn't work he loses.
@@gunchar06 it's too bad that you think that way about GT but I still maintain what I said about GT being better for me compared to Super. I don't really see much of the flaws that people see in it
@@armandeos I in fact liked GT quite a bit at first specifically due to it trying to be like OG DB at first, but it just couldn't deliver on that promise and started to mix OG DB and DBZ in a rather questionable way. Super has also many flaws(and the Super manga is mostly worse), but those has DBZ as well(rewatching the actual show instead of DBZA can destroy a lot of nostalgic memories tbh, and is one of the reasons why i still didn't reread the DB manga).
also flying does require knowledge of Ki and thus basically how to fight which is why Bulma doesn't know how to fly. Chi-Chi was always a bit of a mystery though
The time machine being a sort of spaceship was probably one of the smartest thing dragonball has done because if you think about it, space and time is interwoven. Earth 10 years ago wont be in the same spot. So an aerial vehicle could account for this better than say a car.
just so you know in context as the series was releasing the Dragon Balls didn't take away from the drama until the Cell/Buu saga. as the show was releasing not many fans could predict how the story would go. The dragon balls were inactive in the Saiyan saga, Frieza was after them in the Namek saga before they deactivated (increasing the drama). Up until this point in the story almost ALL the characters we fans grew up with in OG Dragon Ball were dead before everyone was revived during Goku and Frieza's fight. So when people say there were no drama in terms of death, they were either spoiled or talking in hindsight. its like saying, there's no real drama in the Pain arc in Naruto because everyone comes back to life. I mean, in hindsight, sure if you were spoiled. some of your fans don't remember GT very well. Apparently it makes sense for God (Kami) to make Dragon Balls that, if you make a wish, fly off to the ends of the universe and if they are not gathered in a year explode the planet it was used on. Thanks God? O_o

When #17 says how the lack of the energy sense is an intentional design flaw, I never thought it before that way since Cell has life energy. So #17 and #18 not able to sense is making sure they couldn't escape Cell, and maybe that's why Gero didn't want #16 to be turned on since it could sense life energy - thus later assisting #18 to escape Cell.
Like dots are connecting.
That actually makes a lot of sense, holy crap.
no that wouldn't make sense either. cause cell can also hide his energy like the z-fighters. it's so that the androids have a hard time locating the z-fighters and is used as a "stalling" mechnic. that's how gohan and trunks survives, and that's why it took so long for the androids to find goku in the main timeline until 16 pointed out he knows their personal information and can sense where they are.

@@jayceebee30 the debate was already there, they just amplified it and some people mistake their abridged version for the original canon. @@MarkoDashno they see everyone around them as people just fine they don’t see them as npc’s. that would be like saying they were insane or something.
Piccolo: NERD!!
and it makes sense that they are all called androids, because IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH OG DRAGON BALL, the red ribbon army created full on robots with human emotions, aka ANDROIDS. aka android 8. and the numbers kept going up, and the name "androids" continued, even if they started turning actual humans into robots.
Language right...
Any human with Cybernetic parts, even the smallest chip, is technically a Cyborg. Hence, 17,18 are Cyborgs.
Ok how are they wrong? An don’t say read what I wrote, they are cyborgs and not androids. Gt is still garbage in mostly all but two ways…
@@kittydimples5717 they had deeper meaning in super… read the manga. The anime of super had less detail in it than the manga and the super series still has more development happening even now… literally there is like a total of 5-6 arcs and still going on the 6th arc right now. Soooo no super has a lot more deeper meaning in it and has far more character development happening.
So glad you’re finally reacting to this, they really did the special justice and made it hilarious 🔥🤣
I really recommend you watch all the movies and special after the series. They're so good
I mean none canon = bad in dragon ball fandom and the movies are all none canon and the only other specials left aside from the History of Trunks was retconned in the Broly movie, and in the manga. soooooo.
[For the record , not serious just making a point that something doesn't have the be "canon" to be good "canon" only implies the original writers main timeline of events. Its a little cringe how much the DB fanbase harps on canon vs none canon, just enjoy the series and think of it as different timelines if it makes it feel smoother lol]
@@dumbanimenerd4169 what do you mean? None cannon is better too.
Piccolo: "Use the Makankosappo!"
Future Gohan: "...You never taught me that"

Damn i LOVE Scott´s performance on that Gohan´s death Scene! Trunks´ Scream on his Super Saiyan transformation is SO emotional, one of his best voice works!
I think how they edited the scene combined with Scott's brilliant performance makes this my favourite version of trunks' ssj scene

He would have grown his arm back, just like when android 19 impaled yamacha it healed him up
i think thats different tho, they heal whats there i think it would have just healed a stump, even dende can heal holes in people. just like he did for vegeta on namek
@@ryleeevans6211 No he's right. Senzu Beans heal EVERYTHING except for natural diseases and something that has already healed by itself. So a freshly lost limb WOULD have regrown, but after the stump healed over on it's own, that was no longer the case.
@@EskChan19 if thats the case eat half the bean, they split senzus before, i get it for movie reasons 1 bean means 1 eat. i know for sure attatching said limb and eating re attaches. i guess it shows how unlogical dragonball is if all he had to do was eat bean, grow arm back and fly trunks home to bandage him up.
@@ryleeevans6211 Half a bean probably wouldn't have had the power needed tor estore a full arm. It might have reattached the arm but the arm was blown to pieces so there was nothing to reattach. It would have had to regrow completely and only a full senzu can do that.
Great reaction as always. The thing tho is that you keep pausing and checking the chat most of the time and I know that you have to entertain people but by doing this you kinda lose some important lines or scenes and you'll be way less involved in the show. I mean in the final part of the episode, chat was arguing on who was better between gt and super without even paying attention anymore. So I think that you should watch it like the previous episodes without the chat and enjoing the show.
yeah I agree, he did pause way too much in this video
He has to copyright
@@austinseaman1913 Teamfourstar do not claim reactions
Actually about the senzu bean it could have regenerated his arm yes it was a big sacrifice
After a certain point senzu can't heal wounds like that but it would be able to at the time
@@williamcartertindale11 the senzu beans were able to regenerate yamcha's chest that had a hole in it which would need to regenerate both organs and bones as well as muscle they can definitely regenerate arms and other limbs
@@megasuperhappy9889 his scar didn't heal. It was around too long for the Senzu to heal it.
The senzu have never regrew a limb.
@@genorem Its never shown to do that but its said a few times that they can. In the official manga adaptation of History of Trunks, Trunks even says "If only the Senzu plant hadn't died out, you could have gotten your arm back." And iirc Tenshinhan also says something about it in the Saiyan Saga when he lost his arm though I might be remembering something else. I think the only thing Senzu Beans can't fix is diseases, as shown with Goku's Heart Virus.
Future Gohan was 22-23 during this time while Future Bulma was 46-47. This movie covers years 779-780 in the DBZ World. Gohan was born in 757, Bulma in 733, thus a 24 years age difference.
With the frequency at which you pause, it’s like when you get stuck buffering a video every 3 seconds 😂😂😂
He didn't split the bean because the bean needs all the SPECIAL juice to heal the body fully. So Splitting the bean would just make you heal to half power.
As you probably know by now, Monty was the creator of the series RWBY, which is something you may consider adding to your react repertoire.
Trunks was going to die without the bean. Gohan would have been fully healed. Arm and all. So the problem with cutting the bean in half is that NOBODY HAS EVER DONE IT. And it's the last senzu bean period. You're not going to chance it working 50/50 on the last magical bean... you take the loss and you heal the dying kid since your wounds aren't as life threatening.
I just realized that someone said Gohan was 16 when trunks was born, ignoring that trunks was born well before Gohans show down with cell... and he was 11. Heck, the BUU saga was just under 7 years later, putting gohan at 17-18 and trunks fights in the tournament, when according to that dude, he should be 2. The confidence some DragonBall fans can have while being so incredibly wrong is always funny.
When android 18 was beating trunks, someone in chat was like, "I can fix her" lmao
The dedication at the beginning Monty Oum made a short animation called Haloid which got him hired by RoosterTeeth where he founded the animated series RWBY; unfortunately had an allergic reaction during a surgical procedure killing him. RoosterTeeth have honorably kept his series RWBY running since.
Legend! So happy you're reacting to this to see the actual Gohan death scene while playing the kakarot DLC.
they did this one perfect and I'll never get over the fact you hear the Namek vegeta scream in this. 😂
That attention to detail is everything.
If I remember correctly it was the cell saga vegeta as well who screamed…
idk about perfect. skipping over Gohan's fight, changing his last line to be funny instead of emotional, taking out the scene of Trunks being chased by the Androids. the original is still better for this one but they did a good job
The chat arguing over a stupid GT and Super comparison made Jack not only miss the Tapion reference but also people trying to help him understand the Vegeta callback scream better. Big sad :(.
Whoever complains about the ANDROIDS being called ANDROIDS aren’t real dbz or dbza fans 😂 it’s called the android saga for a reason.
But yes they are cyborgs haha
there's no android saga that was something funimation made up to sell more DVDs
@@SuzukiCabs oh really I didn’t actually know that, makes perfect sense though, there story doesn’t really have a close that doesn’t include cell so I guess it really is the cell saga, so is it just straight up called the cell arc in the manga ?
Of all things, I'd have expected Jack to have seen doctor who, this has blown all preconceptions I had about him
I love this special SO MUCH! Also Gohan is in his 20’s, and Bulma is a baddie, even in her 40’s
She says she is 37 in this video.
@@matthewkreps3352 she clearly lied about her age.
To give some context, Monty Oum was a well-known web animator best known for his work on shows like Red vs. Blue and RWBY (which he helped create). In 2015, he died from an allergic reaction at 33.
Monty Oum was a very talented guy in various ways and a big inspiration to many content creators who unfortunately lost his life.
If you want to check out some of his stuff look up Dead Fantasy and Haloid. Might even make good reaction content.
Was he attached to anything related to DBZA?
@@darkerkyo Not that I know, he was really good at animating fight choreography, dancing and just being a generally nice and respected guy.
So its likely more of a respecting inspiring/likeable person thing more than anything.
That or the members of TFS were friends with him.

26:25 - That was Vegeta's yell from the Namek Saga when he screamed after Gohan stole the Dragon Ball from him.

The whitish-blonde is the natural hair colour of a Super Saiyan. It just looks more golden yellow when the aura turns on and they're outputting energy
Jack you need to watch DragonBall Z Abridged MOVIE: Dead Zone before episode 31 as the main villain of that movie is in that episode.
Chat: "he's 23, he was around 16 when trunks was born"
... Chat is drunk.
If you listen carefully at 26:00 (or 18:30 if you watch the original DBZA video and not Jack's), you can hear Vegeta's scream from the past from episode 18 (4:54 to 5:46), and it's such a glorious throwback :P
I believe it was stated that senzu can heal any wound that hasn't already healed, but can't cure diseases, or regrow limbs that have already healed up.
Imagine being mad at someone for calling them androids even though the show and games also calls them androids
Also the manga…
Yeah but only in english dub and english dubbed games, the japanese name Jinzōningen can be translated in many ways, like unnatural-, modified- or, like in the very very very very way to wrong but this time also correct english dub, atificial human which means android as translation is correct, most other countries used cyborg cause C17, C18 and gero are in fact cyborgs, C16 and C20 are human looking robots, so android would be the right word for those two 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe its just about how it sounds in the differend languages, C(ee)Achtzehn sounds perfect in German, C(iii)Eighteen in English sounds horrible against android 18 or just 18 😅
@@andreasm.2777 No.
Official JPN materials also call them Androids, especially now with DBSuper etc.
7:39 going by tfs math, gohan is in his early 20s and bulma is pushing close to 50
20:46 for whatever it's worth, in the manga sources in the main timeline, whenever adult gohan is in his battle gear. it's in goku's style, but with piccolo's colors. make of that what you will
i feel like when team4 star did the serious moments the did them justice
the only question I have is why didn't he split it in half like Goku did in the saiyan saga.
God. Think ya brought it up before but really do love how TFS keeps the comedic tone but absolutely do the serious moments justice when they happen.
13:06 and these OTHER two also are not human.
3:04 People seriously get mad at you when you call the Androids... Androids? They know the term Android applies to cyborgs and human like robots like 16 right? The definition is literally just some form of human like robot which a human with robotic enhancements is as well as an actual robot made to look like a human.
The more specific term is cyborg but Android is just a blanket term for all of Geros creations because they're all human like robots in some form.
Goku and Gohan are close throughout the entire series, but TFS does a great job making it a running joke through the entire series that Picollo is more of a father figure than absentee parent/husband Goku....
And I'm sure it's already been mentioned, but this isn't from the show, there was actually a movie [extended episode?] called "The History of Trunks" ... But it's just cool you've become a fan from the game (the game is all canon, but it skips a lot of context filler) ^_^ You should check out their other stuff (Hellsing Abridged is definitely NSFW content, other content creators did great jobs with SAO Abridged, as well as Yu-Gi-Oh abridged being another really popular one - LittleKuriboh collaborated with TFS a lot) They have newer stuff like Vegeta Plays (the Vegeta Plays Kakarot and Let's Go Pikachu episodes are hysterical) and actually very recent HFIL episodes
Finally, I forgot this series existed lmao
Lmao same
The senzu bean would have regrown Gohan's arm. This special is based off a small side chapter from the manga where in Trunks says had Gohan eaten the bean it would have given him his arm back.
He one of the dude that made rwby and worked with roosterteeth speaking of witch if you have not watch rwby you should it’s good the last a couple of season have been wonky but it wasn’t that bad with me but most people of the rwby community didn’t really like the last two season
It probably would.. yamcha had a hole in his chest and goku. So ye, it would regrow an arm.

GT is basically a filler series as it was made by the direction of the studio , but Toriyama had influence with it and was involved in it , kinda similar to what we have with Super just instead of Toriyama giving creative direction to the studio , he gave it to a fan manga writer.
And this was before he was an official artist for the series.
I think the coolest way to go about a revised version of GT would be to add elements from super but still keeping GT what it was. But I'd have to go into how super is rn and if anyone who hasn't watched / read stumbles upon this I don't wanna be that guy lol
"Super has better fights and animation"
Bro... Literally everything pre-Tournament of Power looks terrible. The animation is dogwater.
@@kingp260 I mean some animation in GT were literally repeats. So I get why people like it for animation and fights.
Its not the best thing out there but its still the better sequel where it comes from that.
better sequel for story is GT tho
@@dumbanimenerd4169 Animation in Z repeats too, especially in the Frieza Saga. Goku throws the same punch like 8 separate times over the course of his Super Saiyan battle with full power Frieza.
If you think about it, it makes more sense to have a time machine that flies up a little ways before traveling through time as opposed to one that sits on the ground. I mean, how do you know you're not going to travel to a time when something just so happened to be placed where your machine appears? Less chance of that happening if you're in the air.
Lol, there's always a debate between GT and Super. Personally, I like GT a bit more than Super because even though the show still has its silly moments, its more serious and characters are "smarter".
They love connecting Trunks to Doctor Who, since the Doctor is a time traveling alien and Trunks is... a time traveling (half) alien.
You paused a bit too much in this video for my liking that it got a little annoying but it was still enjoyable to watch.
Seeing that tribute to Monty Oum... Dang.
I remember him all the way back from when he did Dead Fantasy, rVb and rwby s1... A tragic loss
🤦♂️ you were suppose to watch this after episode 46
17 was a park ranger in Z before Super. He's shown giving energy to Goku's spirit bomb vs Kid Buu while stopping poachers.
Whenever you decide to you gotta watch the cooler movies too, those are some of the funniest parts of all abridged
"Tonight I dine in monkey soup" and "I'll plant me a dumbass tree" are some of my favourite lines of all abridged
I love how Vegeta screaming in the background is the most replayed part of the vid 😂😂😂😂
Another thing Goku did and then probably didn’t do again: Telekinesis.
Nahh he did it again in super manga
also flying does require knowledge of Ki and thus basically how to fight which is why Bulma doesn't know how to fly.
Chi-Chi was always a bit of a mystery though
GT has less plot holes than Super. But comparing both is like comparing piss to shit.
The time machine being a sort of spaceship was probably one of the smartest thing dragonball has done because if you think about it, space and time is interwoven. Earth 10 years ago wont be in the same spot. So an aerial vehicle could account for this better than say a car.
There are some many DBZA movies left to watch
just so you know in context as the series was releasing the Dragon Balls didn't take away from the drama until the Cell/Buu saga.
as the show was releasing not many fans could predict how the story would go.
Thanks God?
