Great video. Just picked up a used '24 Integra A-spec with tech and manual. Such. good car. It may be the best value out there right now. I love the car the more I drive it, which usually isn't the case. My kids freaked out when they heard the stereo for the first time. Granted, I was coming from a beater commuter car, but their reaction was priceless. I am THE demographic for this car. Mid 40s, family guy, with a commute who loves to shift his own gears.

Probably slightly worse. It’s not as powerful or fine tuned. Since it’s basic being out in a Civic interior. Versus the other Acuras where the system was positioning, acoustics, and tuning was apart of the interior design.
I just bought the 2025 and I think it sounds pretty good. Actually better than any other in that price. But I totally agree. I think it needs something too. Because it's new I am not going to mess with it now but maybe at some point I am planning to get some advice from a highly rated installer.
I use apple car play to blast music off of Apple Music. Does that impact sound quality? My speakers are starting to give that inner trembling screetch like noise at high bass songs off the speakers. I hate to hear it at times when blasting trap, reggaeton and rap. Does anybody have an answer? I have a 2024 Acura Integra Apec Tech
How would you compare this to the Bose system in the Mazda3? I'm in between the Integra with a manual vs the Mazda with the manual for my next vehicle and the Mazda comes out about 6 grand cheaper. Not sure if the ELS in the Acura is worth that much of a premium...
You wouldn't be disappointed by either. Mazda Bose sounds fantastic for being hyped up way less than the ELS. And I'd rather have the Mazda for daily driving.
@@MackDesChamps Calmer ride, more low end torque, generally lazier car. And I prefer the interior and infotainment. Integra is also great, so it's a close call
As someone who was also interested in both these cars, I ended up going with the Integra over the Mazda because it's more fun to drive than the Mazda3, and I think it looks better too. More lazy is a great way to describe the Mazda3, which is another thing I liked better about the Integra as well. I did like the AWD and more powerful 2.5 in the Mazda3, but the less power issue is fixable with a Phearable tune, so it wasn't a huge deal breaker in my book. One month into owning my Integra and I still couldn't be happier in owning it! And DM Sound is right, the sound system is fantastic!
I own a 2023 Accord Hybrid I don’t know how to explain to you how Honda solved the sound problem from the previous generation the cabin is significantly quieter and much more relaxing. I lease my cars and I’ve had 2 10th gen civic’s 3 10th gen Accords and now this new 11th gen Accord it’s been the quietest
@@OrangematzI came from a 2022 Civic Sport Touring with the 12 speaker Bose setup, and I'm driving a recently obtained 23 Acura Integra A-spec tech package with the 16 speaker ELS system. Only a week into ownership, but I actually preferred the Bose Center point setting over the DTS Neural (surround sound) setting in the Integra, and I liked the sound from the Bose better as well. I don't think it's a fault of the speakers in either car, but more a way that the audio is delivered to driver in the Integra... It feels like I got the sound almost equally in both ears in the Civic, but in the Integra, my right ear gets more audio than the left, or maybe timing is off a little from each side. Played around with the zoning settings and found dead center to be the best setting, but still, I'm missing the previous setup because of this. Edit: also adjusted the bass since I found it to be a little heavy even on the neutral position, and still, my ears feel fatigued and/or uncomfortable when I listen in the Integra. I don't listen at excessively loud levels, either (6-10 on the volume).
Panasonic oh no! not good. Why not Kenwood, Pioneer, Jensen, or Harmon Kardon? This is like the days of Sanyo vs Sony. Dash looks out of place, must have dragged in the Civic's honeycomb grill left over as a fill-in. Would have been better to use the grill style all the way across.
One of my favorite factory audio systems period.
Great video.

I was waiting for this! Thank you so much!! Makes my decisioning a lot easier.
One of my favorite systems. Not even just at the price point, one of my favorite period. Sounds amazing stock and even better after a little tuning.
how did you tune yours?
Is there a subwoofer at all? How’s the bass?
@@895juice yes, there’s one in the trunk area.
@@895juiceit literally shows it in the video.
One best cars of all time I love Acuras they make best sound system and looks and comfort in one package i miss my old Acura
Awesome! Thank you for providing the Speaker location!
Awesome, we love ours in our integra, rdx and mdx type S
Y’all really have 3 cars of the same brand? 😅
What settings would you recommend to change to get it sounds “just a bit better”?
Hah, I was just asking about this is the 760i review a couple days ago! I'll pretend that this came as a result from my question, haha.
Sounds amazing ❤
So out of the Mazda 3 and integra which has a better sound. Also which car is more quite at highway speeds?
Integra

Can we get a 4 speaker Honda next? 😁
I've experienced the 17 speaker system in the TLX and I like it, but wasn't blown away like I was hoping. How does this sound in comparison?
The TLX has dual subs and 710 watts vs 1 sub and ~500 watts total system power in the Integra. The TLX is going to have a quieter interior too.
Tlx is about 15 percent more bass.

I’m sad. I’m late to this review hahaha. Been waiting for almost a year 😂
Any recommendations for upgrades? I love the system in the Integra but feel it needs something. Thinking about adding a sub

Wish front passenger door panel didn't rattle from bass... Back to dealer i go
Oof, sorry to hear you're dealing with that. Our test car had an unacceptable amount of rattles as well.
They told me to play different music and not so loud, lol
I bought the Type S and the sound system is only amazing compared to other OE systems. If you compare it to aftermarket, it's just okay.
what’s better? This or the bower and wilkins in bmw 5 series ?
BMW more power this better clarity.
Looking for a TLX sound review.
The only reason I want to buy tye acura RLS is the krell audio system.
Is this the same sound system in the Acura MDX? If so, would you give it the same high marks?
Similar, but MDX is stronger ruclips.net/video/S1bZ9o6-hyo/видео.html
seems pretty legit for someone whose a bit of a bass head like me, but if you wanted tighter bass you might try something else.
how many powers are this sound system?

Make sure you have your apple music bitrate settings maxed.
Question. Anyone else try to put the audio onto "Driver Side Only" and it sounds SUPER low? Like, you have to put the volume up much higher?
Yeah, it's just coming out of the drivers speakers

Can you play 5.1 Flac files on this system?
Is this better than the is350 ML since they are the same size?
Hard to remember, but I feel like the integra has an edge
Is this better than the akg system in the ct4 blackwing?
I think so, yes.
Honda / Acura needs to make quieter vehicles.
It’s their entry level cars. Civic/integra that have most road noise. Tlx and up isn’t bad.
I don’t mind road noise a bit I want to hear what’s going on outside as I’m driving too could be critical to avoid a accident

Big difference in cabin noise between the civic and integra. The integra is much quieter.
the newer honda/acuras are finally pretty much on par with the competition now
Is this the same exact system as the new Type S?
yes
@@patrickfiveoh3 I thought the type s had the PREMIUM version of this system.
Els need be like family of harman if I in harman team ,already make els join with top brand audio .
Tested a stock integra system the other day, good sound quality, but very quiet.
Wow no more rubbish music systems from honda
To be fair, Acura systems were always pretty good. The Honda ones were not.

Still not as good as a decent aftermarket system. The speakers are just not higher end at all. The ELS bass is lacking

I’m not sure but I think the Mazda3 Bose system is as good if not superior.
