I live in Las Vegas and i can tell you that even after his death. Elvis Presley still makes money for this city. Every casino and club has some form of Elvis show. Whether it be an impersonator or something. And there could not be any impersonator if there wasn't someone worth impersonating.
Been an Elvis fan just about 60 of my 69 years. He was a performer that did not need gimmicks or dancers and performers to back him. Him, his musicians and backing singers were all he need to keep his audience captivated. Today's music is a far cry from what we were lucky to experience. Hope his legacy goes on for many years.
There are people born after his passing who are fans just as about as passionate as those of us who lived in his time because their parents were Elvis fans. I love it. My three sons enjoy Elvis and particularly appreciate how much I love him.

He died a few years before I was born but I grew up on his music & always thought he was the most gorgeous, sexy man to ever live! He almost seems like a legend, someone that didn’t really exist because he is so iconic.
Elvis's fans had no chance, they were totally enamored. He could sing the hotel menu, would not have made any difference. His power his presence on stage were and still are unchallenged by any artist, current or historic. He was just a one off. The mold that made Elvis was never used before or since. I’m 57 and I’ve been an Elvis fan since I can remember. Both my mom and dad played his music so I grew up on it. I was 12 when he died and I was inconsolable for weeks. My dream was to see him in concert. While my friends dreamed of David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, the Jacksons or any of the other teen dreams in the 70’s I was yearning to see Elvis in concert. Last week i decided to see a video with Elvis..in my 48 years old for first time!....I never really cared to see/watch a video with him before . And from this time i am obsessed! In every video it so hard for me to see what or who is around him. He is like a magnent for my eyes! NOW i understand his fame. He had it ALL! We lost a true legend that fateful august day the world grew a little quitter and lonely when his journey here was over no one will ever be as naturally talented as he was I could only imagine what it was like to have been within his circle and his presence I’m sure it was a once in a lifetime experience what a legacy he left behind for all his many fans spanning generations his music was just as unique and amazing as he was sad that he left the world far too soon however he and his music lives on through the memories he left for his family and fans to cherish till eternity may he rest in heavenly peace
If the word charisma had not already been coined they would have called it Elvis. From 12 years old I have been a fan and an admirer not just of his musical genius but for his humility and humanity. I’m 65 now and I still get chills down my spine when I watch Elvis in concert on TV particularly the 1968 NBC TV Special when so many people had written him off and he answered them in the best possible way. Been an Elvis fan just about 60 of my 69 years. He was a performer that did not need gimmicks or dancers and performers to back him. Him, his musicians and backing singers were all he need to keep his audience captivated. Today's music is a far cry from what we were lucky to experience. Hope his legacy goes on for many years.

I’m 57 and I’ve been an Elvis fan since I can remember. Both my mom and dad played his music so I grew up on it.
I was 12 when he died and I was inconsolable for weeks. My dream was to see him in concert.
While my friends dreamed of David Cassidy, Donny Osmond, the Jacksons or any of the other teen dreams in the 70’s I was yearning to see Elvis in concert.
Watched every movie when they were on and I’d just gaze at him adoringly my mom said.

If the word charisma had not already been coined they would have called it Elvis. From 12 years old I have been a fan and an admirer not just of his musical genius but for his humility and humanity. I’m 65 now and I still get chills down my spine when I watch Elvis in concert on TV particularly the 1968 NBC TV Special when so many people had written him off and he answered them in the best possible way.
