Lyrics:
Lord Almighty,
I feel my temperature rising
Higher higher
It's burning through to my soul
Girl, girl, girl
You gonna set me on fire
My brain is flaming
I don't know which way to go
Your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
Ooh, ooh, ooh,
I feel my temperature rising
Help me, I'm flaming
I must be a hundred and nine
Burning, burning, burning
And nothing can cool me
I just might turn into smoke
But I feel fine
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like a sweet song of a choir
And you light my morning sky
With burning love
It's coming closer
The flames are reaching my body
Please won't you help me
I feel like I'm slipping away
It's hard to breath
And my chest is a-heaving
Lord have mercy,
I'm burning a hole where I lay
'Cause your kisses lift me higher
Like the sweet song of a choir
You light my morning sky
With burning love
With burning love
Ah, ah, burning love
I'm just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love
Just a hunk, a hunk of burning love

Correct, it was broadcast world wide by satellite.
Re no world tours cause Colonel Tom Parker was an illegal resident/alien and would not be allowed back to us idhe left with Elvis for concert s.
For sure
At around 00:40. Elvis does the fadeout manually by just speaking into the microphone. It stuns me that Elvis was just as good on a live recording as he ever was in a studio. Nobody can replicate that.
Nobody.

IF this is In January 1973, My grandparents while on their honeymoon In Honolulu were there. Grandma is a huge Elvis fan, and that was the only time they saw him perform live. My grandfather surprised her with tickets to see Elvis. My grandma talked about this for years saying it was the best gift he ever got her. Although she suffers from dementia, she can still remember the songs. I will show her this video
Aw man that’s awesome. I wish I got to see him live. God bless your grandma man
Did she attend this show or the practice show.
That is SO awesome and sweet!!!!!

You can do this man 💪🏽
You're also a man who feels like he needs to seek attention by posting their personal problems on RUclips.
Re that comment, we cant all be perfect.
It's sometimes hard to really grasp how COMPLETE Elvis was. That voice, his musicianship, his beauty, his hunour, his humanity. Truly a god on earth for the all too brief time we had him here.
Princess Diana, John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette are ALIVE. There’s also a long list of celebrities, entrepreneurs and others including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston who are alive, too. There are many more whose names are not listed. Over time, each one of them joined International Witness Protection Programs for protection. Yes, they went into hiding to protect the lives of loved ones and themselves from unimaginable evil. Now, they’re ready to come out and share their stories with the world. However, you can imagine that they want to do so in the best way possible considering that they had to leave their families, friends, and careers behind. This is where WE COME IN. I’m urging you to share this news with family, friends and in every forum possible (for example, fan websites, Instagram, TikTok, RUclips, wherever you can). Post messages of Greetings and Love to any of the people on the list. Let’s show them that we are anxious to see them again and are willing to respectfully allow each one of them the opportunity to tell their own stories. As you can imagine, this is a really BIG DEAL for all of these folks.

This is such a great tune ! Watching Elvis perform blows my mind. So genuine and talented not to mention a good looking guy. His connection with the audience and the music is on a whole other level. How lucky are we to have these wonderful recordings to appreciate.
There will never be anyone like Elvis again, talented beyond belief, his live recordings are just as good as studio recordings. Pure genius! 👍🏻💙

Great performance I discovered the genius of Elvis later in life . I don’t think horns and rock and roll mix except for maybe a sax. r & r is mostly about fun not serious lyrics either Im just a hunk a hunk of burnin LOVE! Lol
@ this wasn't one of his most favorite songs by any means. he showed more energy in every other part of the performance. even without energy, he ruled his stage and his audience. it was about his voice and looks. he had both.
That's amazing, he even does his own echoes and sound effects. Whoever was on bass was a madman, only the best for the King. He even has the presence of mind to look at the camera there at 1:14. Wow.
I saw him twice in concert. I was obsessed. Still am. He’s a legend. Breaks my heart what was done to him. He just wanted to sing and make his fans happy.
lucky duck
I saw his movie with my wife 2 nights ago and I was very close to cry in front of my wife and thank God I did not . I wanna watch it again . That movie made me realize that it doesn’t matter how many decades ago or how many decades in the future the scumbags who take advantage of good people will always be around !

I watched this video in a bar as a very young marine serving in a MAU in the Med (Spain) during the 80s. I was proud of Elvis, Reagan, and always a proud American.
The Spaniards loved him too. The patrons all stopped to watch. One handsome and talented man. Oh, and that killer voice.

And to think that this *GORGEOUS* Man died just 4 years after this, WOW!! What a huge difference. Between 1973, and 1977. Just 4 years apart. *RIP Elvis Presley* Gone but he will never be forgotten. Such a shame they will never be another *Elvis Presley* *BEAUTIFUL* Man.❤
Yes how true. He looked to be in great shape here and sounded just as good as ever. Hard to believe how he changed in just 4 years.
Elvis isn't dead, he just went home.
Im only really discovering Elvis myself as he passed on before my time, but looking at this amazing scenes from the late 60s to early 70s and then seeing the stuff from his final concerts just 4 years later.........its unbelievable the deterioration in his physical condition over such a short period of time. I know drugs played a big part in his death, and in the later videos his eyes look a bit dazed and spacey. I dunno, it just seems like he looked after a lot of people, and Ive read about his generosity which was legendary, but it seemed like nobody looked after him. Like Muhammed ali, he had a lot of folks hanging around him all looking to get a bite, not many willing to give.
@FatCatGaming
I'm someone who unironically calls Chuck Berry the Holy Father, for he is the Holy Father of Rock 'n' Roll, even before he parted ways with the material living.
Besides, don't you know? Legends never die.
He looked good in 1974.
I was born in January 13, 1973. When Elvis realized this great concert, was my first day in this world! Today, I work in musical industry as journalist and music research! Viva Elvis!
Best Elvis song of all time.
I remember watching this with my family. It was the biggest television event ever. I think it was one of the first concerts shown all over the world at the time.
I'm not sure. I am55 years old and I was listening to Elvis and other music from the 1950s when I was a small child. My mother had many 45s and I had my own record player that I shared with my sister. We also had every album that Elvis made. The same is true with Johnny Cash and the Beatles. Instead of going to Florida on Spring Break one year, my roommate and I drove to Memphis and went to Graceland. I was also married in Memphis at the Chapel of the Elvis Impersonator with a Japanese Elvis impersonator and a Pricella Presley impersonator. I owned a velvet Elvis that I bought on a street side in 1984 or so. And how long have you been a fan?
Ur 55 meaning u were born in 1968 yet listening to the king since the the 50s... What a fuckin dope u are
Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite is a concert starring Elvis Presley that took place at the Honolulu International Center and was broadcast live via satellite to audiences in Asia and Oceania on January 14, 1973. The show was presented with a delay in Europe. In the United States, to avoid a programming conflict with Super Bowl VII and Elvis on Tour which was playing in cinemas at the time, NBC opted to air a ninety-minute television special of the concert on April 4.
Presley returned to performing tours throughout the United States in 1970. Richard Nixon's 1972 visit to China inspired Presley's manager, Colonel Tom Parker, to promote a live broadcast concert featuring Presley and he arranged a deal with RCA Records and the NBC network to produce one. The show benefited the Kui Lee Cancer Fund.
Marty Pasetta produced the program. A filmed rehearsal concert took place on January 12. The show earned good ratings in the countries targeted by the live broadcast. The television special presented in the United States became NBC's highest-rated program of the year, and it received a favorable reception from critics. Its soundtrack album became Presley's last chart-topper on Billboard's album chart.
