I too was born into a Christian household, but with my turbulent times I felt HE was not replying to me, so struggling a bit with my faith. I still go to church except when lockdown prevented me, so trying to get "back on Track". Maybe you could remember me in your prayers. If so thank you, if not I realise you don't know who I am.

My mother was one of those women, like millions of others, who absolutely loved Elvis. I grew up in the 70's listening to Elvis albums, because she loved him so much. Even as a kid I could see how superior he was to all other singers, and became a huge Elvis fan myself. Now, since her death 22 years ago, listening to him always makes me think of her. Just another reason to love listening to him.
We are probably the ones who are not afraid as we know an Elvis voice xx

Yes that’s true, He was All that And More! But don’t you see, that’s what killed him (plus crack pot Tom parker,, think that’s his name, Elvis’s manager, who used him shamelessly. Elvis wanted us to enjoy his music but he also wanted (I believe) some privacy to be able to revive him himself without the drugs. It’s a shame that none of the “Memphis Mafia”, who were supposed to be such good friends, didn’t stand up to him and say so. Elvis might have been upset for a while but if they had All stood together, Maybe they could have have saved him from himself.
