Elvis Presley made television and entertainment history with his Elvis, Aloha from Hawaii concert, performed at the Honolulu International Center Arena on January 14, 1973. It was beamed live via Globecam Satellite to various countries, on a delayed basis to approximately thirty European countries and it first aired in America that April 4th on NBC in edited form. The American broadcast version included four "insert" songs that were shot just after the concert. In all, the concert was seen in over forty countries by close to 1.5 billion people, a global ratings smash. Never before had one performer held the world's attention in such a way. Aloha from Hawaii presents Elvis Presley at the pinnacle of his superstardom, giving one of the most outstanding concert performances of his career.

I remember watching this concert on TV when I was a kid in Australia.
Everyone in my class watched it.
People think they can sing like this genius of a man, try hitting the notes as effectively as the King could. He was a one off.the likes were never see again.
@staveward3643 3 octave range no one can hit those high notes like Elvis they'd rupture their vocal cords if they tried, the building actually shook when he hit those notes I'm told.

Elvis Presley was the sweetest man, kind to all he met, considerate to others needs and wants and the very best entertainer with such an amazing, unique and beautiful voice, truly a God given talent bestowed upon him, and Elvis was always thankful. Sadly he passed away in 1977, I was in my junior h. s. year and heard about his passing on the radio. I'll always remember exactly where I was the second it came on, my sister and I cried. We grew up listening to some of the best phenomenal singers of the day and of course Elvis was the best one. He will always be sadly missed but I can say that I'm thankful for all the music he gave the world, including all his movies. No one has ever been able to even match his singing abilities to this day. I thank God for the time He gave us Elvis and I believe that Elvis is in heaven where he belongs, enjoying the company of Jesus Christ. What a dear man, many thanks from my heart ❤️

Suffering from Glaucoma and having the salty sweat going in his eyes, just watching it’s like I can feel the burning in my eyes.
What Elvis suffered for his fans, we have to be thankful for, it’s painful to see it. I ask myself how could he be singing for over one hour and he did not wipe his sweaty face while he was singing !!!

NEVER has there been nor will there be an Artist of Elvis’ ability! He had the ability to reach your soul in ways you couldn’t dream of. His voice was a True gift and he put his All into his performances, until the he got to the point he couldn’t. But even then he would reach deep and pull out songs that would leave you in tears. My goodness, the emotions this brings and the tears that flow, it’s overwhelming. This is absolutely incredible! The fact that I have read that he couldn’t sing and had no talent is insane. All he needed was a microphone! The orchestra is absolutely amazing however, his voice is what carries the performance. He sounds magnificent! The way he is so connected and in tuned with the music is mind blowing, it always has been. We will never have another Elvis Presley or anyone like him. May he rest in peace! 🕊️🙏🏽❤️❤️

I was a fan of Elvis way back in the 60s. I’m still a fan of Elvis. Even though he hasn’t been with us in a physical sense, for decades, yet he is still very much with us. While never having the privilege of seeing Elvis Presley perform my dad as a young man got to see him perform at the coliseum on shoreline corpus Christi Texas and got his best friend who was working security to meet Elvis and got his autograph which he left to me after passing away so yesterday I went to my bank and went to they're vault and held his autograph in my hand for a few minutes and knew just how lucky I was to have Elvis Presley's autograph made my day 🤠
