It’s creepy to some, and I get it, but if that’s what people like, let ‘em! I like EP! He’s the biggest cultural icon in American history, aside from Marilyn Monroe, Muhammad Ali, Michael Jordan, and Michael Jackson. Those five are on the Mount Rushmore of American fame.

@@imtheboss1826 Maybe one example might be back in the fifties he came to visit some of his family in my home town in Southeast Missouri. Elvis knocked on our church door and gave our pastor a check for 5,000 dollars. That was in the poorest County in the whole state of Missouri. The people never forgot that, and they're not even Elvis fans. In today's money it would be about 50,000 dollars now. He had such a big heart for the poor. He never forgot where he came from. I think the good he did outweighed the bad. Even before he was famous he would come into town visiting his grandma, and always would encourage the kids to be good and stay in school. The towns folk kids are all old now, but they never forgot how Elvis helped and inspired them.

It’s 2022 and once people get to teenage years even if they don’t like that kind of music they know about and have heard Elvis,MJ etc. Even going back further like Mozart. Completely different time but it’s ingrained in culture & us humans we know a great song when we hear it regardless of time passed. Also the greats performed so well Iive. Love they Elvis payed so much homage & respect to black musicians for inspiring him for his sound. For me music is the best thing about life. It’s their for you when your with people you love & care for, or if you feel like you have nobody and feel all alone. Name your favourites people.

I could do Elvis songs when I was a teenager and can still do many of the songs in his voice. Elvis was only here for 42 years way too short of time!

Elvis Presley is the most handsome man in the whole entire World to me. His beauty is beyond this World including his incredible Personality filled with so much humility, love, generosity, empathy, and care for other people which you unfortunately don’t see any Celebrity like that, like Elvis today. Elvis is a one of a kind, he did so much for other people, including his fans. Not to mention, his amazing-distinct voice unlike any other Singer, and that gorgeous face of his carved by Angels. I melt every time I see and hear Elvis.😍❤👑⭐🙌

Brilliant video, that took some doing back then. I think the whole lot of them were superb including the set men and choreographers, with Elvis out front at his best.

When he sings, he was making eye contact to every single person in the audience. I was 9 years old when he died and I will never forget how everyone old and young were shocked and saddened by the news.

@@rockthesix1679 Hmmm... I'd debate that. Preachers? Definitely! Parents were more afraid of Jerry Lee Lewis (and with many good reasons). Unless they saw Elvis's provocative hip gyrations most parents liked Elvis.
