according to the actual article posted on the wiki, its DIRECT and observation in that current moment that prevents his appearence, if you set a lone cam corder up and leave it until you know the victim has passed, it'd work, thats how the foundation knows

this is the most emotional SCP story by far for a couple of reasons: 1. this person is just like us, and also dies just like we all will at some point. 2. his humanity never leaves him, on his dying breaths he still choses to send a message to the person he values the most. 3. the SCP doesn't judge you or ask questions, he's another human to comfort you in the moment we need it the most. like parents coming to sing you to sleep when you we're just a child.

Definitely in my top 5 SCP's. Such a simple yet extremely impactful SCP. They're not there to hurt you or hasten a person's death, nor are they there to save a person. SCP-4999 sees SCP-106 appear and takes the D class before SCP-4999 goes.

@Sell Sword basically a box where it’s not harmful really but has a different world where there’s a war and when the box opens paper dragons come out and send messages to the scp foundation but any mail sent in the box doesn’t get affected nor read and it took a turn as the creatures of the world started dying as the war raged for months and to the point where the creatures died out and the person or thing writing messages to the scp foundation sends one final note saying that it will be the last message and the box destroys itself after a while and they made a video about it it’s the newest video.
@Sell Sword (adding to the other person) the war happened because the "room wasnt right or ready" for the giants it wasn't big enough. And the notes kept saying friends and "i hope u can visit us again" they had no way to talk back to the person behind the origami dragons and every time there would be less and more crumpled up dragons or even peices of crumpled up paper. When the box burned itself it rematerialised and said "here *were* dragons"

This is one of the most wholesome SCPs and of my favorite ones. A man that appears at the side of dying people who are alone in their final moments. A companion for their final voyage.
Imagine being in a car crash and thinking you still have a chance to live but then this guy comes up and starts comforting you instead of saving you. Also, he seems like Thanatos, the God of Peaceful Death .
He only appears if you are about to die.
It's an entity bro. And even if you are "saved" doesn't change the fact that you WILL die one day...

@@mattsopiratoso790 It's... When I read the hearts at the end, why did I hear the Undertale "heart shatter" effect when the character dies and then the game over music, the one called Determination?
How are you able to describe my feelings from that one perfectly with two emojis?
You know this is actually kind of sad. After death in the scp foundation multiverse, there is no heaven or hell. You feel nothing but endless pain from your body decaying since your consciousness sticks with it without the ability to suppress the pain. This is an scp entry but I forgot the number and name
Are you talking about scp-001 when day breaks
thats scp 2718, its actually a cognitohazard created from the process that the foundation used to bring a person back from death since it teathers their soul to their dying body. MCD intentionally does this in their item "The Dark Web" in order to recycle souls to keep a private server running
It's a contigo hazard so it only happens if you know about it
@@ADOSA002nah there is another one that if you know about you die like this forgot the Name and numver sadly
The real question is, how did the foundation know all this?
according to the actual article posted on the wiki, its DIRECT and observation in that current moment that prevents his appearence, if you set a lone cam corder up and leave it until you know the victim has passed, it'd work, thats how the foundation knows

What makes this SCP even more heartwarming is that if he uses the never ending pizza box SCP. The box manifests the favorite pizza of the person dying which he proceeds to hand them a slice.
This has got to be the most wholesome and depressing scp stories at the same time. Also do you think the woman ever found out that he died?
Most depressing is probably here be Dragons vut most wholesome maybe there are some there is 999 or the eyeballs or the Teddy that replaces sick Organs even with his own body and cryes while giving you hugs and gives you Snacks if it cant heal you
That was surprisingly wholesome and brought a little tear to my eye.
this is the most emotional SCP story by far for a couple of reasons: 1. this person is just like us, and also dies just like we all will at some point. 2. his humanity never leaves him, on his dying breaths he still choses to send a message to the person he values the most. 3. the SCP doesn't judge you or ask questions, he's another human to comfort you in the moment we need it the most. like parents coming to sing you to sleep when you we're just a child.
