Your video was just what I needed. The manual is detailed but the video shows exactly how to prepare a bobbin, load it and thread the needle. Thank you.
I've played church organ and driven 18 wheelers and love complex machines and this was the first sewing machine I ever bought. About a year and a half ago and it's so much fun. My 60-year-old eyeballs have trouble threading the needle so I do love this feature. Thanks!
I had a 1966 Singer sewing machine until recently. It was a workhorse. I replaced it with the Singer HD6800C heavy duty. I have tried everything I can think of, but keep getting loops in the underside stitching. Do you have any suggestions to eliminate this issue? Thank you.
I do! I love that Singer added a computerized Heavy Duty model to the line. I work at a Singer service center and it has been a very reliable machine. The extension table is a really nice add-on, especially if you want to quilt with the machine. Thanks for your comment!
Hello! The machine will need to be looked at by a technician. It is an easy thing to fix, but not something you should try to do yourself. The machine has a 1 year warranty, so if it was purchased within that time frame, you can send it to a Singer service center for repair under warranty. If you are in the Midwest, the authorized Singer service center is in Chicago at 4914 W Irving Park Rd.
Hi! If your foot controller is not responsive, there could be something wrong with it. I would contact Singer at (800) 4-SINGER to tell them about the problem. If the machine is under warranty, they will either send you a new controller or direct you to a warranty center for help.

I wish you'd zoomed in when you were showing the hook and the prongs to the loop bc I could not understand at all.

It is very important to know that this machine takes the class 15 bobbin NOT the class 15J bobbin.
It can actually take either. However, the 15J will give you better performance.
