Perfeito!! Obrigada
What a fantastic video. wow🙌
Your video was just what I needed. The manual is detailed but the video shows exactly how to prepare a bobbin, load it and thread the needle. Thank you.
Hi! Thank you for this video! I think I have done everything correctly but I think my thread keeps getting caught on a piece of the hook and not catching the bobbin thread. Any suggestions?
If your needle is inserted properly and still won’t form a stitch, it might need to be serviced by a technician.
Do you recommend any binding attachments for this model? I just purchased it and am excited!
Super helpful, I just sewed my first hem using this as a guide and it looks terrific. Thank you!
Do you have to bring the beginning tails to the back to tie off or can you just clip them close to fabric?
The beginning tails can be clipped close. They don’t need to be pulled to the back.
Thank you for this video! Also when you clip the seam did you clip all the way into the serger stitch or no?
I clip up to the right needle thread. As long as you don’t clip into the left needle thread, you’re good! 😃
I bought a used Serger like the one in the video but the instruction booklet was useless. The lady I bought it from sold it at a yard sale. It was brand new! But the previous owner just could not figure out how to thread it and use it. I figure someone on RUclips had to have put up a video on threading a serger. Sure enough! Your instructional video was wonderful! I rethreaded the serger by following along with you. Now this serger works great. I’ve never used a serger so still getting used to it but had to let you know that your video really helped me out!
Thank you for your comment. I’m so glad the video is helpful! Happy sewing!
Love it this video nice and clear.🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤
Super clear explanation. Love it. May I ask for your help? How to install and use Spreader for the same machine. Please help me...
Thank you so much. Such clear and excellent instructions and demonstration 🎉
The best video I’ve found for threading instructions
Thanks
UGH! Thank you so much for this video!! Super clear, you explained why threads needed to be above or below, video quality was great. Cannot thank you enough! ❤❤❤
What if you’re doing what if it’s chiffon?
Thanks for this, it was so helpful
I’m glad it helped!! Happy sewing!
This was so helpful! Thank you so much for giving great angles and visuals and explanations. This made it so easy to understand how to get the thread from the bottom. 🖤🖤🖤
I’m glad it was helpful! Happy Sewing!
Disculpe, esta máquina tiene zig zag?
Hello! No, the Singer 301 does not zigzag.
Gracias.@@sewingbytes
I finally understand what I was doing wrong! Thank you!
I'm a visual person over reading instructions. Thank you so much for this! Very helpful!
Thank you so very much for your description of how to thread bobbins and the sewing machine! You have covered points that another video I've seen skipped over. You've made it easy to understand and I appreciate the time you spent to do this. Thank you!
I’m glad it was helpful! I hope you enjoy your machine. Happy sewing!
It is very important to know that this machine takes the class 15 bobbin NOT the class 15J bobbin.
It can actually take either. However, the 15J will give you better performance.
Really enjoyed your video. Planning (perhaps dreaming) about a 1541,a beautiful machine. Thanks for sharing, now when I get mine, boom, I'm ready to thread! Awesome😅..be well... Have a fantastic weekend!
What year was the tan coloured 301a made and how do I find out where it was made? I have searched but can’t get an accurate idea how to find this information- please help
You can find out a bunch of information about your machine here: ismacs.net/singer_sewing_machine_company/serial-numbers/singer-sewing-machine-serial-number-database.html
@@sewingbytes thank you - your reply is very helpful 😊
What is the tension for stretching fabric ? I will apreciate your help
Hi! Tensions are all on 4.
How do you change the needle if broke
Hi! Thank you for your question. I just uploaded a video on how to do this. See it here: How to change a needle on a sewing machine ruclips.net/video/-R1JUd_6-VU/видео.html
Thank you for sharing this video.
I’m glad it was helpful!
I had a problem with the rolled hem with the wooly nylon thread...on the back side of the fabric it came out like some stitches were pulling out a little bit of fabric...i wish I could send you a picture to see what do you think
I'd like to see this also! It's tricky.
Can you show us how to do this in the round? Most sewing is in a circular.
I've been dreaming of getting myself the 1541. Although I don't have one, I enjoyed your video and subscribed. Thanks for sharing. Be well.
Thanks for the sub! One day you’ll get the 1541! It’s a great machine.
So helpful, thank you so much!
I wish you'd zoomed in when you were showing the hook and the prongs to the loop bc I could not understand at all.
My singer hd6800c wont reverse stitch when i push the button what can i do?
Hello! The machine will need to be looked at by a technician. It is an easy thing to fix, but not something you should try to do yourself. The machine has a 1 year warranty, so if it was purchased within that time frame, you can send it to a Singer service center for repair under warranty. If you are in the Midwest, the authorized Singer service center is in Chicago at 4914 W Irving Park Rd.
I've played church organ and driven 18 wheelers and love complex machines and this was the first sewing machine I ever bought. About a year and a half ago and it's so much fun. My 60-year-old eyeballs have trouble threading the needle so I do love this feature. Thanks!
Beautiful stuff. I was fortunate to get an almost new black 301 for really affordable price ( $60 ), but there is VERY faint crazing on the bed. Can that be fixed by lightly dissolving the lacquer clear-coat and letting it reharden ? Or any other method ?Many thanks for the video.
when i start to sew. * it does not. stop sewing what do i do to stop it
Hi! If your foot controller is not responsive, there could be something wrong with it. I would contact Singer at (800) 4-SINGER to tell them about the problem. If the machine is under warranty, they will either send you a new controller or direct you to a warranty center for help.
WONDERFUL video!! So easy to follow! BRAVOOOOOO
Thank you so helpful! I was wondering how you got the gray stitches!
Could you please made a video how to use the accessories for the singer 301a
Thank you for the great info. I can’t seem to find any videos on how to change the needles on a Juki 1541s. Can you help please. Thank you
Just grabbed a black 301 and a 99k so fun to use these little tanks.
We have a short and long bed 301a machines. One came with a singer motor controller 194584 7th edition "G" with the long bed and the short bed came with a 197629. The 194584 one cord with power and foot control. Has the 3 prong plug only for both. The normal location for the foot controller 2 plug was covered with plate. The short bed controller has the normal 3 plug for power cord and separate two plug for the foot pedal. Can we use the 194584 controller with the single 3 prong plug on the Short Bed? If so, we would want to get a second 194584 for the short bed. Have researched online and cannot seem to find an answer. Your insight on this would most welcome. Best Janet
The two prong outlet on the bottom goes from the motor to the controller, so some rewiring would be required. You could take apart the the one-cord plug assembly for the long beds, and use that as a schematic for rewiring, or look around youtube for someone who will do it for you. I did see a video about foot controllers and that person owns a shop, and will wire your system, but then the shipping cost might be prohibitive. I'll keep you posted if I see anything about rewiring these. Best of luck.
A few years ago I thrifted a 301 from Chicago, which uses the combined power and foot pedal cord even though it has both the two prongs and three prong receptacles. Not sure if it was rewired, just wanted to let you know it can be done!
Does all julkis have a guide, hole ,cause mine doesn't
Great demo, just what I was looking for. So it’s the upper looper thread that has to match my fabric if I only have one exact match. Right?
Yes, that’s correct. The needle thread also somewhat shows, but the upper looper thread is the main one.
@@sewingbytes Thanks for responding, and so quickly! I appreciate your channel.
Thank you so much for this😳😳😳I’ve watched a few threading videos and the way you do it works THE best. I’ll be back for another class😁
Helpful. Thanks.
Thanks for detailing the threading process.
indeed, it is great machine. I love this machine. thanks for video
