This is a 10 minute version of a guided relaxation pranayama box breathing technique for mindfulness to help you calm down and connect with your inner self. This short meditation will help you in being present to the moment. Breathing in prana to help calm down during times of stress, or just relaxing in your own space.
I have found this technique to be very valuable for stress and as an anxiety breathing technique but also really helps me sleep, I hope you find some benefit in it too.

@@Suttisan78 Its me on another phone. Flight anxiety is caused by many factors, a common is noise.
A flight attendant told me some air planes are more quiet than others. Boing 747 are pretty loud.
Spirit & Southwest airlines use cheap planes so they are louder. United uses more high end planes so they are more quiet. I fly with United now
Next common factor is built up anxiety
Taking early morning flights to reduce the mental chatter of the day and meditating a lot that morning can help with this one

Thank you for this video! I was experiencing outbursts of anger caused by stress level rising above 6 on a level of 1-10. I started using this breathing method every morning first thing I do and have been able to keep my stress level at a controllable level. I have not had a outburst of anger since. Thank you 😄

I use this to wind down after my workouts and to relieve pain from chronic cramp in my back. Very helpful, wish the 6 sec part was longer
My physical therapist prescribed this specific video as part of my rehab plan for combatting chronic pain. I do yoga and rhythmic breathing, but not specifically pranayama, so this has been extremely useful and helpful. Thank you!

Hey guys! I'm so happy that people are finding this video useful. I have a few other box breathing meditation videos that are the same style (audio & visual cues) on my channel but I am totally open to other suggestions to what other types of meditations/breathwork people would like to see with these types of cues. Why do other box breathing methods say to breathe OUT THE MOUTH a
Using this for about a month now..reaaaaaaally good..minimum voice track and the metronome helps alot..suggest some other videos like silent witness ( you are not your thoughts or emotions or feelings etc ) as well as gratefulness and forgiveness meditation tracks

Absolutely agree! I wish there were more guided mediations available that were, well “less guided”. It’s incredibly helpful for relaxation and re-centering after a stressful day or shift.
My emdr therapist recommended this video & im grateful it actually helps for midmorning anxiety.

Oooh, this was a good one. My plantar fasciitis is acting up so no walking until it heals. I was worried about finding anything off my feet that would get my heart rate up but this did it!! Thank you!!
panic disorder has been off the charts lately after starting therapy this is my new routine and can I say THANK THE WHOEVERS because it's working. Brought tears to my eyes the relief I felt after this. Could lay down and relax without added noises. It brings peace people. Give it a shot

I don't have panic attacks or severe anxiety but this seems to help me deal with a chronic pain condition.
Its amazing what meditation and breathwork can do! Hope the pain reduces :)

This video demonstrates how long to Breathe in, how long to hold, how long to breathe out & finally how long to hold( before inhaling next breath) . Yes it is 4 counts for one cycle. Thanks for this easy guided method

Performing nadi shuddhi pranayama balances the masuline (Pingala,Right,Solar) and feminine energies (Ida,Left,Lunar) within an individual.
This leads to a feeling of peace,oneness and satisfaction.
We can chant Soham internally (So when inhaling and Ham when exhaling).
.The upanishads which are a part of Vedas declare that there is only One and to realize this Oneness of all life is the ultimate purpose of life.
Every moment we breath, nature reminds us of this truth as each incoming breath resonates to So meaning He and outgoing breath to Ham meaning I (The Sanskrit words are split as Sah and Aham and its conjuction is Soham)
Every time we breath , we can tune ourselves to this ultimate reality of Oneness by remembering Soham.

Have had a really stressful day and doing this one has really calmed me down I usually do the hold in 4 but thought I would try this one I feel so relaxed and ready for bed

As you can see I commented a year ago about my anxiety getting better when I do particular this method but one other thing I noticed and forgot to mention is that my asthma got better to and I can hold my breath longer. Cheers

I was so full of anxiety and had headache und couldn't stop listening to my heart beating and my thoughts racing.. 4444 was great but when you said, let's try 5,my thoughts just shut off and I was focused. 6666 could went a little longer for me but I'm going to 6666 by my self for a minute or 2.
I found it was awesome. The music and the different klick noises was just perfect for me..
