Using a Power clip in lieu of a snap swivel will mitigate the issues of the snap swivel opening up. Usually you need to try a few different lures and baits to test what's preferred by the fish.

Ethan A hi Ethan I've always used a version of the blood knot. But the uni knot is also a good one it just depends on what is easier for you to tie. Cheers for the comment.

Trequel Alston probably not mate. If you want to use a snap just connect it straight to the lure. This knot is to be used instead of a snap.

A Perfection Loup was designed to attach tippet to leader, as in fly fishing!

Why not wire leaders? The bite seems fast there and the wire shouldn't affect the bite that much I hope
