@@greencoolmoss thank you so much. Means a lot. Keeps me wanting to give them (the lessons). If they help even one person, I’m content and happy.

Let me ask you a question, I just started getting into the habit of reading books and really trying to grow intellectually. I am 20 years old now throughout my childhood and teenage years. I don’t think I read one book however, I still believe that I am above average intelligence , the question that bothers me, is that whether I can make up for the time I’ve wasted in my past. What I’m trying to say is that, like Malik, you were talking about in the video, since he read, since he was probably a child, and I have it, would I be able to catch up because he formed his intelligence when he was younger, and basically became a part of him in his formative years

@@slugnation1699 It is no secret that CEOs of the top Fortune 500 companies read voraciously. So yes you can grow your intelligence and catch up if you double time it, meaning read more books. But I am not recommending you read any book or to read just for readings sake. In my next Chapter I tell students to hone in on a niche. You at 20 don’t have the luxury of time to read any ok book. You need to focus on a specific area you think you want to work in. Or a general area like Business, Tech, etc. Be at the forefront of the space you think you might want to get into. I realize you are still in discovery mode as a 20 year old so try a few areas out. Like Tech/Biz/Money Mgt, etc. Thanks for your question! And stay tune for the next video.

@@slugnation1699 Oh also want to make sure you realize that you don’t need above average intelligence to be successful. I said this in a previous video. Don’t wait around and read yourself into inaction. From your question, I can tell you are an intelligent person, being self-aware as you are. I say in my book that the difference between smart people and successful people is that successful people take action. I call it profitable action. They don’t sit around or wait. They do! Try doing things. A new biz idea? Go for it! A new part time gig to see if you like it? Go for it! Good luck.

@@teacherhomieg thank you very much for the response. I see you have a lot of wisdom to offer and you are using it well. I am currently working with my brothers in real estate and I go to college two nights a week so I tried to read as much as I can these days since I don’t have a lot of time. I started three weeks ago and I finished three books but they were short. I understand what you’re saying about you should read on a specific topic that you want to improve in. I just have to find the right ones… right now I’m just reading classics to get into it. I find it very enjoyable and a much better alternative to crippling Social media Lol.
You seem like a great teacher- A lot of respect to you!
