I think it is best to restrict CPU temp to 80-85 degree. System will automatically adjust CPU wattage based on room temperature and cooling pad giving best performance.
So is it worth it to restrict temperature or to restrict wattage on cpu and GPU ? Not much fan of temperature restricting as it can cause stutters even if it slightly causes the temp limit , while power limiting will give slightly lesser frames but more stable ones after a while , however which do you suggest ?
@@avikde9631 what I did was use AMD utility to limit cpu temps and afterburner to undervolt gpu to maintain consistent performance while temps stay below 81 on a hot day.

Thermal paste if anyone wants to replace, i will highly suggest thermal grizzly as though it is a bit costly but its a beast of a paste along with liquid thermal grizzly liquid metal as an option too which is even better but more costlier and a beast that can reduce temps like 15-20 deg but highly risky as even slight spilling of liquid metal will destroy your motherboard so not worth it unless you are pro. My recommendation which has worked for me like magic for my 1050 ti old nitro which was touching temp of 95 or above is not thermal paste as india being a hot and dry country thermal paste often dries up making it ineffective after few months, it is thermal grizzly carbonaut a piece of sheer magic that looks like a cloth and has 0 risks since its a solid cloth like thing that automatically becomes semi liquid in contact with higher temps and man oh man from 95 plus and shutting down temp hardly even touches 80s now past 6 months. I don't know how long it will last but i have most of the chunk of the carbonaut cloth left which i can use later but it like gave a whole new life to my 6 yr plus ageing acer nitro 5 1050 ti laptop . Obviously it cant achieve the lower temps of thermal grizzly paste like kryonaut or the beast thermal grizzly liquid metal but this is the best risk free semi permanent thermal solution highly recommended by me as it will save tons of gaming laptops , btw i am the one who bought 4060 loq based on your recommendation

Same happening with me cpu went up to 100' c . I researched ...then setting my processor power management mode to disable(when plugged in) SOLVED it for me.. Now Assassin's creed valhalla with ultra high settings never crossed 70' c .

Yes, that's a bug with vantage. I had to restart PC to remove the limitiation.

I think the charger will melt because its hitting 80watt and gpu hits 115 watt so 80+115=195watt but charger is only 170 watt
