GOOD MORNING AMERICA'S HOMEPAGE:
gma.yahoo.com/
I can't be the only one who cried watching
Same
Same
I'm a die hard colts fan, i was crying add well
+Colby Isham I was damn close, especially when he started naming everything he'll miss. I'm not a football fan, but I'm a fan of Manning - and any player who dedicates themselves so entirely to their craft - and I wish him nothing but the best. This was an outstanding speech.
No shame in your tears, either.
+Colby Isham Nope. I just can't believe he's done.
"...And lastly, I would like to say, better ingredients, better pizza, (sniff) Papa Johns, and papa bless football." (walks away)
lol
+jordan f Funny! haha but that (sniff) that was great. haha It's the little details that count.
fell over reading this
You sir, are amazing.
lmaooooooooooo
“Treat a man as he is, and he will remain as he is. Treat a man as he could be, and he will become what he should be.”
"God bless football" Those should be the final words of every speech ever.
amen
Not everyone is religious
+Jarradd Morley I used to think like that, but who gives a crap.
Peyton manning is a fucking prick glad he retired so I don't have to see that stupid ass bump on his head
+Sports Guy And the moron says.
18:02 long video, That's 18 for Peyton, and 02 for SB Rings.
Illumanati
that's crazy
+Sports & Lore Gaming I wonder if that was a coincidence...
+Sports & Lore Gaming Ha! That's just perfect.
+DuarteAlexTV true
Aww, no more Peyton vs Brady games, damn, that's actually pretty disappointing.
ikr
Don't worry we'll have a Russell Wilson vs Cam Newton Era.
Agree lol
I know it's going to suck 😭😭😩
Him a pats fans so im not really affected by his retirement but i agree with the thing of Brady VS. Manning but when you think of it... Eli Manning is still here😸
I'm not even a Colt or Broncos fan, and I'm about to cry
Lol me too im a Cowboy fan
Emsbre Lopez you mean cowgirls right Nancy?
ZEEK ELIOT
The beauty of sports, respect the best and the rivals. In the end, we are all equal.
Im a Rams fan
came back to this after hearing about DT sadly passing just to hear one of the legends speak about him, RIP 🕊
It's a strange feeling seeing your childhood heroes retire from sports they love and become another name of the list of hall of fame greats. For 18 years I've watched Peyton Manning play football, and he never ceased to amaze me both with his professionalism on and off the football field. Thank you for everything, including that nation-wide jingle that always gets stuck in my head every time it airs on TV. Truly an NFL legend and a class act.
+Robbie Backpacking Makes us feel like were truly getting older and older my friend
+Al white very true, but also makes you appreciate an amazing run :)
Robbie Backpacking yes it does im a ravens fan i knew what that was like with ray lewis and everything. You're team spiraling downward during the regular season but just getting strong in the playoffs all of a sudden and winning it all the super bowl just a good ass feeling. But back in 1998 i remember that year like the back of my hand.I was 7 just nostalgia at its best
Al white I still remember the 2 Giants super bowls (being a NY fan) like they were yesterday as well, so I know how you feel.
Cool story nerd
Whos cutting the onions?
lol
Me.
Me.
+Paul George Papa John
+Paul George he's guilty of SEXUAL ASSAULT.
He SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FUCK HIM AND ARCHIE!!!!!!!!
(Peyton may be ok though...as far as I know)
"18 is a good number"-Jared Fogle clearly disagrees Peyton
+Hector Gonn good one
😂
im dead
Here's a little something for all the Manning Fans: His number: 18
Years played: 18
Length of this video: 18 minutes
+Sawyer Roberts at least his number wasn't 99
Peyton is unarguably one of the best quarterbacks of all time, and ran the NFL's best and most consistent offense for almost his entire career. I will miss watching Peyton play, every Sunday he made the game so fun to watch, dismantling football's best defenses. You will be missed #18
To me he is the best pure passer I have ever seem. I have never enjoyed watching another football player as much as I enjoyed watching him. I’ve never seen a QB make a defense look more helpless then Peyton could.
As a Chargers fan enduring what was a horrible 2015 season, I was feeling pretty good about the Jan. 3 game against Denver. With Osweiler at quarterback, my Bolts were leading in the third quarter. It meant only pride to us in a sad season that might have been our last in San Diego, but it meant something to playoff-headed Denver.
When Manning put on his helmet in the third quarter, the collective reaction among Bolts fans was 'uh-oh.' You could see it on his face; you could see it in the way he took charge. The boss was back. We list, 20-27. But there was no doubt that the win was due to Manning.
He was class then -- and class when he called out in tribute all the players he battled over the years -- including Chargers legend Junior Seau.
Got nothing but love for you, Peyton. Best of luck and blue skies ahead.
Theresa Novak love it
What a way to end your career. Come back from injury just in time for the playoffs, make it to the 50th Super Bowl, and win the 50th Super Bowl. He went out a champion, even though he was already a champion. God bless you Peyton and thank you for all the memories you have given us from the past 18 years. Classiest pro athlete the world has ever seen. #18Forever - Packers Fan
No yuex
I like the packers too
My favorite verse that Peyton references:; "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
2 timothy . What a guy!
Anyone watch this after Eli's retirement speech?
Yep lol
You caught me, that’s exactly what I did.
Gbowl_300X my uncle calls me Eli My teacher/coach calls me Patrick Mahomes and I just searched them up
lol they gave him a speech?
I'm a Patriots fan, and I'm really gonna miss Manning. The league is not gonna be the same, and I'm glad that he won a Lombardi to end an amazing 18 year career. Father Time is undefeated, so this time was eventually gonna come. Top 3 QB of all time.
+Sheehab Zaman That Brady, Manning rivalry was amazing. They needed one another like Bird and Magic.
+Sheehab Zaman I'm in the same boatb as you as a Pats fan, you can't help but respect the legacy that is Peyton Manning. He has gone out on his terms, and while it always stung when his teams took the Pats out, you couldn't fault the fact he played with honour and dignity. The NFl is changed for the better because of him, and he will be missed.
+Sheehab Zaman i like the skins and im happy he got that trophy to end his 18 year career
same here,I like the pats too,but manning will be one of my favorite QB
God bless Peyton Manning!
You were always a class act Peyton from a Packers Fan. Thank you Peyton
I cried like a baby and I’m also a Packers fan! #GoPackGo
Colts fan, and I have to give a shout out to Tony Dungy - incredible class act and something special we had in Indy for those years.
I'll always consider Peyton Manning to be the finest NFL QB of his generation. He saluted so many great players he played with and against, as well as coaches and support staff. He obviously is grateful to the fans. This was a moving speech, and I really like his ads during NFL pregame shows and during the games. His being in the games has been missed, but, thankfully, he's still there.
I have followed Payton for ever. I'm just a teenager but this man has changed tradition in my family. We always watch the games. Congrats on your last season. You won the Super Bowl for you 200th win. You will be missed. Thanks for the Memories.
Yet you can't spell his name right
+Tyler Rahn It's a simple mistake.
+Dylan Skud aight
+Tyler Rahn tylor
The NFL won't be the same without Peyton. He's had such a positive effect on me my whole life, and I wish him a wonderful retirement
I love anyone that works their ass off. Makes no excuses, gives their all and pulls no punches.
I will miss you on the gridiron.
Signed: Loyal Chiefs fan
The cool thing about this is that the video is 18 minutes long and his number is 18 and he played for 18 years
Illuminati confirmed.
AND 2 seconds for 2 Super Bowls wins
Peyton Manning deserves a better video than this stuttering mess
yes!!!!!
+Shane V (ShaneV32) He's not stuttering, he's breaking down. Peyton Manning is giving up the greatest love of his life. He'll never take another snap in a real game and he knows it. This is the hardest thing this guy has ever done. He loves playing as much as we love watching him play and he's absolutely the greatest to ever take a snap.
+Jamfanwp I'm pretty sure he's referring to the the video freezing and jumping ahead.
+Maya Lashay Go watch my RUclips video its dancing like prodigy 8
+Shane V (ShaneV32)
lol. Applause.
Excellent speech, can tell he's really appreciative of his career and is genuinely going to miss the game. He'll probably be in a broadcast booth or studio somewhere within a couple of years.
I heard he was on ESPN. I don't know because I don't get it. He is an American hero! I loved the character Guapo he played in Ferdinand the box office hit at theatres in 2017. Lol. He is such a good actor/movie star.
Good call
What a fuckin speech. Leave it to Peyton to be an absolute class act from the beginning of his career to the end. What separates the legends from the all-star blue chip talent is the amount of modesty and humility that individual has.
It's nice to see him go out on a high note. We'll miss ya 18.
Respect to Peyton from a Pats Fan!
My favorite qb. So much class. Peyton you will be sorely missed!
Born and raised a Patriots fan and even with the Brady/Manning rivalry I've never hated or disrespected Manning. Great quarterback, humble person and a classy guy. Ill definitely miss what he did for the league and getting ready to watch two of the best ever go at it.
I know the Head coach for duke football, and he used to be the Head coach for Tennessee while he was there, The Manning family comes for a family dinner every year. He says they are the kids are total douchebags, because archie was rich they were born with a silver spoon in thier mouths. 😒 bit disappointing but hey Tom Brady is still the 🐐.

@@ryanstaudacher7469 who? peyton and eli?
If you unliked this video, you either don't like Peyton for some crazy reason or you're an idiot. Even if you don't like football, this is one of the most heartfelt and sincere retirement speeches there has been for an NFL player. Talking with this man and getting to run routes and catch passes with him at the Manning passing academy was a memory I will always cherish. Thank you Peyton for everything you've done and will do for the great game of football.
As a Raven fans this guy was a thorn to us since 2004.When we had that strong 2006 season #1 defense 13-3 his colts beat us 15-6.hes beaten us 44-20 in 2007.31-3 in 2008.17-15 2009.2009 playoffs 3-20.hes had our number but this man has always made Ray lewis ,Ed reed,Terrell suggs, haloti ngata, and Chris Mcalister played on their toes. Im truly gonna miss him so much. Peyton manning is the greatest now he can go join the greats that he named.Thank you Peyton 1998 was an amazing year i was just turning only 7 but thank you for being in the league for so long 1998-2015 Greatest qb ever ! #18 #omaha #Hurry #Hurry
Am I the only here after Andrew Luck’s retirement
Nope. Not super happy right now
I'm also here cuz of andrew luck
Nope lol just here to remember the GOAT and cry lmfao
No.me.too
Nicholas Oakley me too
Coming from a die hard Brady fan, Peyton is awesome. I have nothing but respect for him and he’s definitely a top 3 QB all time 🐐
What a great man you are and to have such honest and wonderful morals for young boys to have you to look up to. You are a special person in so many eyes. Good Luck Payton in your future life and God Bless Payton Manning. 🍀
Susanne Gleason yues
Tearsssss! Peyton was the first QB I enjoyed watching (and his brother of course!). I remember cheering for him as a Colt and I cheered for him as a Bronco. I'll miss watching him esp when he got matched up against Eli. Thank you for the wonderful memories Peyton!
Came back here after watching Eli’s retirement speech 🥺
R.I.P Omaha

Noooooooo
Manning is an icon. love him.
Wow. That lady at the end bringing up something from 20 years back that people alleged he did? That seems a bit low for this scenario. Surprised she didn't ask about the HGH.
Women for you
Peyton handled it perfectly. What a man he is
Text meeting him there perfectly but that's women for you bring up something that happened in 1996 that he allegedly did at 19 and there's no proof also that's kind of what happens to pro athletes that are doing well people try to bring them down
Of course it was a woman
She Woke. And needs a spankin
Peyton is a player respected by just about everyone. I loved watching him growing up. He was very talented but he is also a good guy. Miss you Peyton. Enjoy your retirement.
Growing up in Indianapolis and watching Peyton on Sundays are some of the greatest memories of my childhood. No matter as I aged, life changed, priorities mounted, every Sunday I made time to watch Peyton play. I come back to this speech all the time when I need that lift of inspiration in my life and career. God bless this man and the impact he's had on the game and fans like me across the world. Cheers to a childhood hero and and inspiration- this speech brings me to tears every time.
Best retirement speech ever. Such a great sense of humor and so humble. We love you Peyton. Thank you for 4 years of joy, love and excitement with Denver. The NFL and Bronco fans miss you more than you will ever know. You were the best. Much respect to you Mr. Manning! What a wonderful 18 years you gave us all!! GOAT...
He had me in tears. I have so much love, admiration, and respect for him. I will always be his fan
#PeytonManningForPresident
Lol think about it. If we were on the brink of nuclear war, Peyton would whip out the big red button and be like "Manning drops back, fakes the draw to Obama, looks left, sees his target and throws a bomb deep downfield...ISIS CAUGHT IT IN THE CORNER OF THE ENDZONE, TOUCHDOWN AMERICA!!"
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
💀💀
lmao
😂😂😂😂😂😂
LMFAO
1:33 The quote "18 is a good number..." will always stick with me. Shows how humble you can be in the game of football.
tremendous honor watching Peyton play, watching him from my mid teens to my mid 30s...Thank You Peyton for your dedication to the game.
Peyton Manning retirement from pro football there is just 4 words I have to say to him. Borrowing from the great Bob Hope, here are those 4 words Peyton:"Thanks for the memoires"
Long live Peyton Manning!!! Thanks for the 18 years you've "blessed" us with! May God continue to bless and keep you and your family!
Why Peyton sounding like forest gump
Why you soundin Gabriel inglesias
Yo' ese...check out my lowrider.
yea he does, hopefully Peyton plays as Forest gump in the remake
He looks like him too
Because he is
Watched this again and cried again. I cried because he was so great and classy, and also because I realized I'd gone a whole season with no Peyton Manning
Way to go Peyton! Good luck with your future.
This speech was iconic, classic, and admirable. Im going to miss Peyton, he helped my colts become champions, and he was one of the reasons that I love football today. The race is over, Manning. Thank you.
I’m a Ravens fan but ultimately a Football fan. I have Nothing but respect and admiration for the great Peyton Manning. He’s the epitome of a true gentleman and I don’t know anyone who hates him. You can tell he truly lives, breaths and loves Football. Football misses you.
I've only cried a few times in my life and this is one of the times
Eli Manning Retired also
Always respected Peyton...This is his time...
wow my idol, he had a great 18 years and he is the best, every one had doubt in you. This year every one loved cam newton, but i had 100% love for you Peyton, YOU ARE THE BEST! Sheriff!
To hear someone speak about something with such passion is inspirational. One of the goats with a true love for the game.
There has never been a more humble well spoken class act of a player.
1 more year and he will be in the HOF, can't wait for that speech!
Greatest speech ever given, hands down
I have been analyzing Peyton Manning's retirement speech for almost 4 months now for a college English course. Every time I watch this video I cry. Every. Single. Time.
He's an incredible moving, inspiring leader. He's also humble. Just that rare combination along with a pristine work ethic that will set teammate's motivations a blaze for each game. Not just one player, but an entire team. For an entire season. That's why he was so successful. And why you can only compare a few other players in the history of football like him.
Sad day for football but congratulations to Mr. Manning on a great career and I thank him for his service as a role model for the NFL just when they needed one the most. The league owes him a debt of gratitude.
I almost started crying. We will miss you Peyton. 👏🏻
I'm not even a football fan, but I gotta give anyone respect who has stuck with something as long as he has. And can still recall the smallest details of it all and tear up. True love of the game.
His love for the game is contagious. You can see and hear the emotion in every word. He’s one of those guys that would play for ever if he could.
"I'll miss that handshake with Tom brady" fuck even as a pats fan I'm gonna miss that too. truly the end of the best rivalry of this sport in my life. best of luck in future endeavors Payton.
Absolutely
Thanks for the memories, Peyton!
It is hard to say "good by" to something you love so very much. It is impossible not to cry. Peyton, you are a real man. Take a break sir...you have earned it.
I can’t be the only one who still watches these in 2020
I'm a Packers fan and I was pretty upset about this
I'd be pretty upset to be a packers fan.
+Flazko oooooo you roasted him
As a packer fan i gotta say asshole!!! but as a football fan i gotta say why da fuck you a dallas fan???? That was funny dude!!! BUT dallas still sucks lmao
As a lifetime Patriots fan all I have to say is "God damn I'm gonna miss this guy". There's nothing more entertaining than a Brady Vs. Manning game. Now that there's not going to be anymore is pretty sad. Peyton's one of the greatest QB's to step on a field and the game will never be the same without him. I wish him luck in everything after this.
i would do anything to meet manning.. i love him
Total class to the end. A true legend of the game and of the camera, hope to see him either calling games or analyzing them this season. God bless you, Peyton Manning, there will never be another personality in the game like you sir.
As a Patriots fan... I truly enjoyed watching every game Peyton Manning played. One of the greatest! He will be missed.
Lol not me. I'm a chiefs fan and I'm glad he's gone. He was alright though.
+Naked Yeti alright? This is an all time great. Yeah the past 2 seasons he's been alright, but back in his prime he was a monster. His passes were always so beautiful
I wish Peyton would come back to the Broncos and help us flipping coach..
This is the first time that I've watched his retirement speech and I must say, even as he was heading towards the door, he still managed to leave his profession with class and humility. I'm going to miss this guy so much and everything he's ever done for football.
Thanks for all the memories P-Man!!!
I‘ve been a football fan since the 1960s. Following Peyton’s career has been a very special treat. For the past few years I had been telling my Son to enjoy watching him play because there will likely never be another one like him.
That blew me away. Classy man that will greatly missed.
You guys laugh at his forehead while he laughs all the way to the beach with a cigar and fat pocket
That was beautiful! I am grateful to have watched Peyton play and now this farewell speech.
As a huge Baltimore ravens/colts fan, it made me tear up when Peyton Manning brought up Johnny Unitas. Total class and respect.
My favorite Quarterback of all time. I love Peyton Manning.
The best to ever play the game. Changing the world of football today and tomorrow. Will be sorely missed.
Even in 2021, it hits different.
A truly touching and beautiful farewell speech from an amazing player
Wtf is up with the skipping?
stevechambers500 probably trying to keep the video 18 minutes long, for his number 18 and the # of years he played. sorry, 4 years late
I've lived in the era of Manning and Brady. Respects to you, Eli. Thank you, from a Patriots fan. #PatsNation
good try,not getting me though
Dang man. I got teary-eyed. As a Patriots fan I will definitely miss this man. He's been one of my favorite quarterbacks since I started playing football. A legend has left the NFL and will surely be missed.
I just love this man ! So kind and humble
Peyton Manning is the greatest QB of all time! He's the NFL's only 5-time MVP; he threw more career touchdown passes, and in a single season, than anyone; he won more games than anyone; he has the most passing yardage; he had the last word in the rivalry with Tom Brady; he's the only quarterback ever to win a Super Bowl with TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS; he helps to build championship legacies with TWO DIFFERENT TEAMS! Manning ROCKED, and teammates, fans, and opponents know it! What a way to go out!
+Steve Jobs perfectly said
+Omega8kilo Proof please?
Everyone knows Joe Montana is the best QB ever lmao!
Sundays will never be the same :(
It can be with Papa Johns 2 for $20 Sunday special.
+Barry Bamb Lmaooo
I used to hate this guy being a pats fan.... his broncos teams always seemed to beat the pats in AFC championships. And not to mention his legendary colts teams. Peyton manning is truly one of the greats it was amazing and awesome to watch Peyton manning. Even if he opened a can of whoop ass on us many times...OMAHA SET HIKE!!! The fans of Foxborough miss you too💔💔💙🧡
I’ve been a Cleveland Browns fan since 1954, but I love Payton, there’s no one like Payton, the only jerseys that I ever owned who wasn’t a Brown was Payton Manning. I love that guy, always. 😢
Easily the best Quarterback in NFL history.
No, but he's top ten.
brady the best
He's definitely #1. Beat Brett Favres passing records in 2 less seasons. For the teams he had structured around him, he was the reason for their success. Not the case in New England.
www.footballnation.com/articles/here-comes-tom-brady-the-best-who-ever-lived
Mang OB Brady is the goat. tough to swallow but its true
Pats fan thats sorry to know there are no more Tom vs Payton games to watch ever. Best of luck to you Payton
This man is a true legend and a true class act! I’m a cowboys fan but have always respected the talent and class this man has brought to the game of football!
Been loving him since his Knoxville days. It's been a true privilege to watch him play in this sport, and perfect his craft. Thank you, Sherriff. #18 years went by way too quickly.
