The finals is one of those games that while being another fps is still so unique, the movement of it is so flowy that sometimes I feel like I'm playing a platformer, it's a very think on your feet type game, and I love that, I hope to god that this game keeps that spark and doesn't become over serialised.

You described it perfectly. Games like valorant are fun because a good team can plan out an entire round and execute it perfectly, but the finals is fun because of the unpredictability. Sure, you can fortify a building so that nobody on the enemy team can enter, but there’s nothing stopping that team from just knocking the building down.

this is crazy, in 2 seasons this game got more content than some do in their entire lifespan
That is what I’ve been trying to tell people. The content drops in less than 6 months are unlike any other Year 1 for live service that I’ve experienced.

@@Iykyk13 i was playing halo infinite again this weekend, and I could not believe that in all of its development we only got the bandit. To their credit forge is a state of the art tool. But that game will not get major updates anymore, just the events with community content. Also I was legitimately interested in the narrative of the seasons and was completely bummed that they dropped it

Yall all got it wrong, the only thing bad about this gme is 1 Hackers, which is actively being worked on and 2 slow content release, which is fine because the game is so replayable and look, season 2 started last month and already we get something new.
The mode itself is not revolutionary, but the mode in this game looks hella lit.

@@Ogure4k that's not true, the practice range right now is actually hosted on servers, and if you use some glitch you can even get to other people's range in the same server with you

I worry you're going to split an already dwindling playerbase between too many game types. You have cashout, quick cash, ranked, power shift, now this new game mode, not to mention the special event we had at easter - I'm sure that's fine for regions with high player counts but for those of us in Oceania who have to wait longer for matchmaking you're going to further inflate existing wait times by dividing players into too many queues.
I'm not saying reduce the amount of game modes, I think the variety is great, but it might be time to start combining certain modes into playlists; Quick cash and Cashout could be combined into one playlist, as could Power Shift with Attack/Defend.
Quick cash and cash out are way too similar! We don't need both. Unranked tourney was way better! Did they remove it cuz of long que times?

This looks cool, but I'm worried that the meta will be something like the defending team spamming heavies with shields and/or mediums with turret and APS
That's why you counter swap to glitch nades or reshaper
