@@Championclips15yeah, Mediums will need something to fill up that Defib slot. along with Dematerializer, I actually think a good Medium will be a very compelling teammate in this new mode
Btw i feel like we are in experiment stage in the finals at the moment, i think Empark are testing which game modes/mechanics works better, new or decent improvement for the Anti-cheat, optimizing the game and rework the ranked system? Balancing and other quality enhancement and then they will start Huge marketing campaign everywhere

@FAXIII7 totally agree. Plus, I feel like the finals treads on the territory of a lot of shooters right now and does it very well. So I can't imagine the respective marketing teams from those games taking that lightly...
If that’s the case, that’s just stupid. Why would they think another game mode would be A good idea when they been building and perfecting this mode for the past year not to mention that the majority that play and stay are also the one that play the main mode

Honestly, I'm surprised people don't like the vegas maps. I actually really do, and the only variant I hate is the one that has all the built-in auto turrets, for obvious reasons. Otherwise, I love having a brawl on top of the tunnel, on the concert hall or duking it out on the car park. Oh and the dune burried one is a real treat whenever I get it imo...
I personally hate this map, because it's too open for me. When i get the "dune burried one" i just know, either my teammates will carry me, or i will lose this match.

@@arturroblox3662 do you play light? I mostly do solo queue, so I got really used to bringing some type of utility that either breaks up LoS or outright blocks damage (since I can't depend on teamplay/teamshooting) , and it's really worked out well for me.
@@Solcres_Joa I play as mainly as heavy sledge hammer. Perfect combo until you are alone in the open.
@@cloudboy08 I can kind of see that. I mostly know where I am by now, but I think I focus a lot on movement and escape, so whenever I get lost I just go through a wall or go real fast through a window. I willl admit though, as an old battlefield vet, I feel like vegas is beging me to go vertical, and I try to do that as much as possible, plus it helps me get to where I want at terminal velocity 🤌

One store bundle I thought might sell really well is a neon eyes set with a bunch of different colours with the neon eyes like in the neon cowboy set, aswell as more skins for the new guns to maybe incentivise the players that care about cosmetics to use them a bit more ? Not sure what they could do tho but I’m excited to find out
I really hope the game mode is fun. Sounds cool. And yes need that girl with the egg logo mask, she looks dope. Would be awesome after getting a lot of players if they added a character creator to make even more unique skins and outfits

I don't understand why ppl think there will be no health regen when the dev responded NO DEFIB NO HEALING BEAM. No health regen would destroy the game mode as it would destroy the possibility of clutch 1 v multiples
@@jasoncini4360 them saying no healbeam doesn’t really clarify anything. It says no health regen which really could only mean one thing. But we will see

I would prefer new maps over new modes. New modes means also split player base. Better improve existing modes, spawn times, location etc.
I agree new maps would be better if they are going add new modes,I think should add more casual modes to build up the player base
I feel like a new map is a lot more work than a new mode. You’re building an idea from the ground up and it requires a lot of creativity. Seems like an easier said than done kind of thing. I think 1 new map a season is more than enough. Considering other games such as warzone and apex take +1 year(I know the map is bigger but the finals have some pretty large maps) I think 1 per season is great and if they do too much it’ll be hard for new players to learn the game
Embark being a small studio means that for the game to survive and be profitable doesn’t require insane player numbers. Every game I see paid skins, so I know the game is in a healthy state funding-wise
That’s weird if ReBar doesn’t benefit AMD as well because it is not exclusive to Nvidia.
Edit: ReBar and SAM (Smart Access Memory) are basically the same with some minor differences. So it appears you would get the same benefit.

Seems like it helps with latency, doesn't really do anything for fps but it feels a bit more snappy

Gadget ideas: Pogo stick (for big bounces), rollerblades(skates) for speed etc.
You won't see this in game. You already have jump pad(for big bounces), and light with evasive dash(for speed). They won't add anything, that is just different type of this same thing, because it will make both of those things lose value in match.

@@andychrist2922 They maybe are doing the same but are used in different manner. Mines are used to protect something, i.e defense. Grenades are used to attack something, i.e offensive. You can't say, that you can delete mines from game, because grenades exist, because you can't just leave a grenade at the cashout, and tell it to explode, when enemies come close. You can use jump pad to jump higher, use it as barricade, when in doorway, or make it a trap, so no one can enter the room, untill they destroy it. You can use pogo stick to jump higher, but that's the only think it is used for. To jump to some place. And no, you can't make pogo stick a multi use, because someone jumping across map, or around you would be impossible to kill, unless you use aimbot, i.e it would be to OP. So to summarize. Why would devs make something, that is just the same item, they already have in game, but it doesn't bring any value to the team, and has a fraction of usability of the item that already is in game, i.e worse version of the item they already have.

I disliked Las Vegas when the map was released. Over time, it has slowly grown to be my favorite map.

This mode will be DOA. Unless you have a squad this will be a complete travesty, players will back out once they are killed which will make the mode even worse.

Tf2 red team ARE NOT THE GOOD GUY. Both red and blue are the same character, and if anything they are definitely the villain of their own story. Srly they all mercenaries Ofcause they not the good guy. Protagonists yes but not good. the demat is gonna be huge in the new gamemode. no counter to a fast breach that can be sealed back up might be overpowered.
