- Sea Fishing UK in a small boat. we go fishing for Turbot, Greater Weever, Gurnards, mackerel and more! my Polycraft 300 Tuffy takes me deep into the English Channel Offshore. we drift sandbanks with bait in search of multiple different fish species. I talk through all the rigs we use to help you catch fish for the future! my boat is similar to a SIB but better, its stable, hard shelled and more commutable and enjoyable to fish on.

Can I please ask you for an advise, I love fishing in the sea and my dream is to get a inflatable boat like yours and use it. Knowing myself I do have a major issue with seasickness from your experience what’s how to get rid of it for ever I mean without having to use tablets. Many thanks 🙏
Tablets like kwells are good. And work well. However if wanting to overcome it it’s about keep going, and keep pushing through it. Keep busy on the boat, keep doing jobs, eat a bland breakfast. Nothing Rich. I was sea sick loads on Portuguese trips for sharks as a kid. But I kept going and started to enjoy it and the feeling went.

@samiabed745 i used to crew a charter and we kept ginger biscuits in the wheelhouse, possibly placebo possibly not but worked more than not.
Excellent video and thanks for talking about how important a PLB is but my real question is how do you find the Mariner 20 engine...is it worth the money?
Funny enough my PLB video goes out this evening, so far the engine has been excellent. Starts all the time and caused me no issues. However I always always use E5. Never e10. The electric start has been nice as in the cold it starts quickly and I think is more reliable than a carb.

@@jono999s if you could please write a well scripted detailed letter to my other half stating why moving 15 thousand miles away to fish more and live in a country where a spider the size of a 2p coin can kill you that would be a fabulous idea and I will be in full support of it 😂

This one I believe is a fast find. It’s getting to the age where it needs to be replaced now though as the batteries have a certain life. Well worth having though!
