    Now we know why it's called muscle fishing! That launch looked like a workout!

      It was! Not usually though. I just went down the beach on the wrong part and got stuck ha! Sorted it quickly though and off we went! Tuffy proving its versatility again!

    Lots of Bass arround southeast coast, lots of schoolies but good fish in there

      Yup the bigger ones likely be better to target with live bait however had some nice ones on sidewinder lures this year

    The release @25:00 shows how fit they are. It cleared the water as soon as it was back in. Weeeee! Freeee! 😁

      They are lean mean killing machines and rather hardy things! Great to catch and release

    I have a live bait 'tank' on my sib. Collapsible bucket and a 12v usb aquarium oxy pump. It does help that I have set my battery up in a waterproof box and added a couple of waterproof 12v outlets for phone/pad/vhf charging as well as running the pump when needed. Sure you could do the same. My Mrs has said quite rightly that relying on mental checklists is difficult with the excitement of the weather being finally good enough to get out. You forgot your net, I forgot my vhf last time so a checklist it is for me from now on. What size rope are you using to pull up the beach? Great vids, tight lines.

      I actually left the net behind purposely. I always think should I shouldn’t I ha…. Always trying to reduce gear ha, I have electrics on board I can charge everyhing and even add a 12v pump if I wanted to. I may do some more live baiting at some point! If ladies were In charge they’d have a clipboard and have everything run smoothly I reckon ha. Thanks for watching and I may just have to get a pump now 😅

      @@MuscleFishingOfficial About £3 on Temu but watch out for the air supply tube as mine was too soft and collapsed easily so I changed it over for some thicker walled stuff

    Hi Jake. May I ask what the wind speed forecast was on the day you filmed this?

    • @MuscleFishingOfficial
      @MuscleFishingOfficial  5 месяцев назад +1

      Morning was meant to be northerly up to 15mph gust and by 10am was dropping to 8mph max gusts westerly. The morning had a strong westerly wind of about 20mph in the end but it did calm down toward the end of the day

    U defo need a net, even a short hand net ;)

    • @MuscleFishingOfficial
      @MuscleFishingOfficial  5 месяцев назад

      I have one and chose not to take it out… I think when I’m wrecking I may take it. Although I worry I won’t keep tension on the trace while trying to net single handedly is the issue 😅

      @daricisz73 5 месяцев назад

      @@MuscleFishingOfficial so you recommend to buy 20Hp and boost up to 30HP instead of buying 30HP ? My english is poor so Im not sure if I used right word (boost up ), but you know what I mean..to buy any engine chip to increase HP

    • @MuscleFishingOfficial
      @MuscleFishingOfficial  5 месяцев назад +1

      @@daricisz73 I’d recommend buying a 15hp which is what the boat is rated for. However I have a 20hp but don’t ever use the full throttle.

      Had a SIB for a few years very few concrete launch points on SE Coast annoying.
      Going out over shingle can be hard, but coming back after hours of fishing is tourture
