Conger make good eating , if you like it. Normaly baked just like a Sunday joint really or can make fishcakes. We used to fish them commercialy and a processer here made conger burgers, tasted pretty good. We have a problem here with octopus killing the shellfish here at the moment , so most fishermen are returning the congers hoping they will eat the octo's.
I know this comment won't be seen but a man's gotta try. How about a collab with @SnaggedBro ? Show them how it's done and land a fish from the garden peg? A gudgeon will do at this point 😂.

Wondering what the tool is to unhook the fish? Look so easy. You using barbless or circle hooks
Called a T bar as a common name.Has a notch or slot cut in it to go over the hook shank.
