Mermaids are supposed to show up any time your boat isn’t there, even if you are on land

The Mermaid shows up when your ship is far away, in this case you just happened to be on land. Not a lost at sea thing :/
Dipper Pines It doesn't show up if you're on an enemy ship, that's the only exception to that rule
The mermaid wasnt waiting for you, if they were waiting for you, you would see the flare. U literally found a glitched mermaid
they dont have a flare if they appear for somebody else
but if you go up to them they will still send you to your boat
I love this guy so much. I have been with him since 2k. I just wish he would upload again. He would really make some horrible days a little better.

Mermaids actually appear once ur far enough from ur boat. Not just when ur lost at sea
So if ur friend starts leaving the island without you, you will always be able to catch a mermaid back

i dont know if this was a glitch or it was supposed to happen
So I got the game and started playing, finally realizing how to sail. Then it turned night time and I got to a small island with a bunch of skeletons and boar like things. It spooked me and I turned around to leave (because I had completely ran into the island with my boat) then all the sudden my dude lost almost all of his health and was looking straight at the sky. I looked back down, and my ship was about 200 feet under me, and the ship was about 600 feet above sea level. We were flying away at a high speed for like 10 seconds. Then I land in the water and go to this mermaid lady that bought me and my ship back to a weird little island with two barrels on it. Is this supposed to happen or nah?
I didn't run into most of these, the game is very well optimized regarding glitches, it just needs more content and maybe a overworked combat system.
This game is more funky than DK country returns funky mode
lol found the exact same skeleton at the same location trapped in the same place. Just fired a couple of canon balls onto him, killed him instant while impossible to hit from close distance

I got a glitch where I got my entire crew of 4 into the brig, and this is gonna sound like self-advertising but it genuinely isn't suppose to sound like that, it's on my channel if you're curious

Mermaids actually spawn when you're a certain distance away from your ship, not when you're just in the water. Decent video though.
Actually mermaids appear when you're far away from the ship, doesn't matter if you're lost at sea or safely at land, Great video though :D

4:04 that’s not true.. mermaids appear when you are far enough away from your ship. It doesn’t matter if it’s on land or in the water, if your crews ship is far away you can use the mermaid to teleport back, no matter what the location.
The mermaids show up when the ship is outside a certain radius. Even on an island.

It's not the worst glitches I've seem so far, like I am playing this game for months and one time I shoot a cannonball in a ship and it just flew away with 2 pirates inside and other time when I was alone in a slope and I used the anchor and the ship didn't stoped and it passed throw the island, leaving me in the island but the ship just went away

Youngamer well I played in the beta, a long time ago like 1 year and 2-3 months ago, the game was much more glitchy back then, like immortal ships without sails and stuck in place, or sharks getting inside the shipwreck, just passing by the wall
my just runs fine really but im still disappointed , ms pushed rare too much for my taste. I really need to wait on a dicount next time for exclusives like this.
Youngamer well I played the game and the beta had tons of content so I really got happy by what I saw but when I heard that everything that was on the beta was the full game I got really mad so I'm waiting for something that really adds content to the game, and I don't think rare was pushed to far, this game was in development for a reaallyyy long time and one day the developers just said "we are not interested in hearing more ideas for the game, we just want feedback about the features that already are in the game" and the people that work in rare now is not the same guys that brought us those incredible games, most of the studio jumped off when Microsoft bought then

I do know about the updates but I think you have test gamers for feedback, I rather think its a excuse thats also why the updates are free. FFF if they make halo 6 a pc game or cancel scalebound , im done with xbox.
