I found a pretty cool glitch, OK so when you are on the title screen press start, then they give you 4 save points to choose from, if you choose one that says "new" you will restart the game
It's so amazing to see how Nintendo got away with such amazing things with little tricks like having the character models stored waaaaaaaay below mario's y axis location and pulling them when they were needed. You should do more modern games to see if they still do anything like this to stretch the hardware further.

I wonder if you'd be able to show off the glitches in PM:TTYD as well? I don't think there's that many glitches in that game, but it's my favorite Mario game ever. Hey, just got a game-freezing glitch for you. If you hit the top-most spring in Mt. Lavalava's volcano, then hit the save block normally and press "Don't Save" (Probably for the best) your game will freeze. It might also be a softlock, because everything is still active, you just can't do anything.
If you get out of bounds with the Sushie glitch and go far enough away from the level (it takes just a few minutes of going in the same direction), the game will start to slow down and eventually a big error message pops up saying something about Mario's coordinates. IMO, it's best done on the road to Starborn Valley because the background is freaking cool.
