I've still got a few pretty important things I saved for the next video later this month, but guess what! The next Random Facts video will be the 50th video in the series! There's still gonna be some kind of focus around Kazuya, but maybe I'll try to do something special?

Apparently heaven's door has a non-grab hitbox after a while of being active it turns into a regular hitbox that does 12.5% and has considerably low back sending up upward

I once was able to do a regular throw while having rage before watching this... and I got a serious case of Deja Vu...
From my testing also they seemed to finally patch the glitch with final smashes and the pause camera as you used to use frame advance to trigger the final smash and most dlc cutscene ones would break with the camera snapping back to where the camera was for the final smash cutscene which would be some fun DIY boundary breaking but it seems we cannot do the glitch as final smashes will work perfectly now. :(
I just realized, at 2:34 you can see the combo counter doesn't reset when attacking with the 10 hit combo, although it does in every other situation.

I think Kazuyas character selection image is zoomed out so you can see what colour his trousers are. Otherwise, you wouldn't know which alt you selected if you only ever use the shoulder buttons.
If you use up throw of kazuya when small and then grow while your opponent is in the air you'll fire the laser at nothing instead of your opponent.
A random thing that happened when playing Kazuya online was that when I had rage and used the input version of Rage Drive, I sometimes (and very frequently) got the Spinning Demon Left Hook’s input. It landed some awesome kills so I am fine, but I’m still confused😂.
When we say "doing strings" in Tekken we are referring to Tekken's very biased move linking mechanic where you have literal strings of moves instead of actual links (that exist) and cancels (that exist, too.). Strings are often not good, but they're there, they can be cheesed and it's the easiest way to apply pressure and mixups or juggle your opponent (since the game is doing it for you, almost.) :,)
I've only ever heard the phrase in a derogatory manner for when a high skilled player is panicking and thus just throwing everything their character's move list has to offer.
Just an FYI, if you are outside the walls when the stage forms with walls from another stage while you are playing, you will be "locked out" of the stage and fall to your death.

If you use Sephiroth's side B on Bowser Jr. as he's in freefall from his up-B, the little guy will spin super fast. Best observed on a custom stage where the wind is strong enough it's keeping you suspended in the air.
Kazuya side taunt is a true combo into final smash
Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed his portrait being smaller than everyone else. Could be rescaled in an update idk. Nvm I forgot he's completely shirtless for half his colors so his pants need to be visible for.. reasons.

Kasuya d tilt cancelling. Press shield immediately after straight down tilting and the move will have no hotbox and you'll be able to act faster
When playing in palutena’s temple in training mode and you jump to one of the springs and press menu,the camera will freeze until you leave the training mode menu.
The ten hit combo does show 10 on the combo counter if you mash A instead of holding it

They zoomed out his portrait so that we would be able to differentiate his different skins, three of which only change his pants. So they made it so we can see a little bit of his pants.

I honestly didn't have much trouble with the level 9 kazuya.
Smash - Easy to play game with difficult AI
Tekken - Hard to play game with relatively easy AI (Except the bosses).

Because his shirtless palettes only change his pants (and in ONE case gloves).
7:39 The smaller portrait is probably because some of his alts only change his pants color. There's a similar thing with shirtless Sephiroth except his alts also changes the color on his sword's handle.
For future reference, if you ever need to stall in the air indefinitely, there are some setups for that, such as going to Custom Smash, setting gravity to light and spamming K. Rool's up air. Combining this with 4x Floaty Jumps (spirit effect) helps, but isn't mandatory. You can also gain infinite height this way, but some stages end up killing you at some point.
I thought you can only reach 2 jumps with one +1 midair jump support and another +1 midair jump primary spirit
And to get 3 jumps only on world of light

So something that I thought of and noticed, the 10 hit combo does un-stale itself because it fills and clears the staling tracker.
So if you ever feel like any of your moves aren't killing when they should, just 10 hit combo.
It's kind of dumb, and probably not the best way of doing it, but it's there.
I just did some testing myself, and apparently the full 10-hit combo counts as... 4 moves for the staling tracker. No, really.
Apparently, the first 4 hits of the move are all counted separately for move staling, and then every hit past that seems to simply be staled alongside the 4th move. This also means that fully staling a move and then using the 10-hit combo, has the exact same effect on that move's damage as fully staling it and then using 4 of any other attack.
My guesses for _why_ this happens are either a) they wanted it to unstale other moves more than once but not clear the entire tracker, or b) some jank relating to how you can cancel it into Flash Punch Combo after the second hit. I'm actually leaning towards b), since the third hit of Flash Punch Combo actually stales together with the third hit of the 10-hit combo. But I don't know for sure.
The camera also seems to get funky on other stages too. I was playing competitive ruleset on omega golden plains (or a similar stage) got a grab as Kazuya, and the camera did the same thing it does on 2D stages. Weird…
Some stages like Golden Plains don't use perspective, they have orthographic cameras. That wouldn't look nice at all and so they disabled them there.

Also, fun fact: remember that Ditto fun fact that it basically counts for the player limit once transformed and then undoes it when it turns back before disappearing? That's applied to the cinematic camera of Kazuya's throws as well.

5:42 im sorry, but im curious, what if you Kaclang on the left side? The invisible wall will push you in, right? Also what if you use something like flare blitz at the top when its open and you're in the invisible tube, will you keep going past it, hit an invisible wall and take 12% or take 6% and not hit anything but still be awkwardly stuck there? Sorry for phrasing.
I tried to do a sneaky and use rest on the wall to extend the hitbox but ended up wiffing

Finally someone mentions how you can easily SDI out of Kazuya's ten hit combo! I figured that out as soon as he was an opponent.

Random Fact:
When you use each character’s final smash a small close up to his face is added on the side which looks really cool but the miis don’t have this close up probably because they can change their apperance.
Default Miis, i.e. Ones you unlock in WoL don't use the blanked portraits, do they have a cut-in?
Too add to this: the splash has the fighter's eye flash yellow for a moment. Piranha Plant, not having eyes, gets the flash on one of its teeth

I had no idea what happened to Nairo and the other people in the big Smash controversy last year after it happened since I'm wasn't very interested in competitive Smash and wanted to stay out of it. Glad to know that Nairo is back and doing well.

Just spam down smash since it’s pretty much fixed knock back, then land any other smash attack. Alternatively, don’t be _that_ person and use a few command inputs. Like don’t memorize all of theme, just memorize like 3-6 and you’ll be fine.

I played against a Bayonetta CPU as a Bayonetta main. I know my combos, of course, so when I saw her attempt full combos that I know and use I was wondering why she wasn't actually as bad anymore.
She used to get stuck off the edge of the stage and just not recover, it was actually interesting see her play the game for once.

2 things about kazuya throws: 1. All throws except up count as one more hit on the combo counter than they seem to be in game.
2. Gates of hell has its tekken hitsparks appear 6 frames before the hit. I forget details try both of these yourself
Regarding the fact that the 10-hit combo shows up as untrue for the last hit, this fact is false. After extremely early percents it shows the full 10 hits as being a true combo. Also the end of Kazuya’s down special has a launching hitbox if you don’t get the grab with it.

Kazuya's Down B will always make him land on the same surface either him and/or the opponent is on. Unlike Bowser's Side B where you can land on platforms after you perform the move on the bottom ground, Kazuya will land on the platform he started to use the move on or if you're in the air and grab someone with it, you'll land where they were standing. If you're both in the air and you grab someone with it, you'll land on the ground with it and not a platform. The only exception is grabbing someone on a platform and dropping down off the platform onto the stage. You still can't go to a different platform tho. Not sure if this was a well known fact but nobody's been talking about it or pointing it out so I took that into my own hands. Neat little thing to keep in mind ig.

Hay, I know this may be old but I have a good short test you could you do, a stress test with the Amiibo glitch to control all players as Player 1 and switch from Mythra and Pyra and their taunt just to see what will happen. Would love to know and it'd be interesting to see what appears and what don't in 8 player smash. If you see this, thank you for your content, keep it up!
Random/Pointless Smash Fact: If you shot k rules neutral special, reflect it with Mewtwo's side special, then k rules down special, the cannon ball with slow down, and eventually stay in place, for about 3/5 seconds, and you can get hit by it.
That's sad is that they patch the AI to be less hard.

regarding the "tube theory" for Kazuyas stage, what happens with Items/things that could stick to walls, like the Motion Sensor bomb, Gordo, etc?
Don't know if you know this but I did some testing for the rage mechanic and found this. In 300% smash the rage mechanic always appears when you lose a stock but not in 10% stamina battle.

you can break it with normal attacks unlike terry’s. weight is also a factor
