I used to work at Aēsop, and I love their body products. There is some really good skincare, too, although I tend to not put essential oil containing stuff on my face anymore. But the original deodorant, the violet leaf hair balm, all the body balms, the body and hand cleansers, etc are so incredible. I miss getting that stuff for free haha. Also, Sebastian, if you tell an employee something you wish the brand had, they’ll probably make it. We had a couple meetings a year to get together and tell headquarters what clients want or what we want. For example, we (and clients) were asking for a body wash version of the Rind Concentrate body balm, and they made it a thing! They really listen to customer feedback.
Hi Sebastian! Thanks for presenting us this new line! I recently tried All Saints Incense city and I love it. I would like to see you review all All Saints fragrances 👍🏻👍🏻
I've gone through 3 bottles of Marrakech Intense, it's a feel-good fragrance for me, for sure. I like Tacit, but it was so fleeting. I like their shampoos and conditioners, but they have been out of stock on shampoo for 6 months. I was told at the store that they are reformulating the shampoos and ran into supply problems.
I know Hwyl is their most popular scent but I prefer Tacit. It's citrus spices combo wears great on me and with great longevity. I haven't tried the three new ones. I might have to stop in soon.
Thanks for the amazing video! Do you believe in seasonal fragrances? Actually I love Hwyl so much but don’t know if it’s too heavy during summer so I’m considering getting either Eremia or Miraceti instead. Because I know once it gets colder outside I will get Hwyl anyway.
I've tried so many of their skincare products because they smell so nice and feel luxurious, but ultimately their formulations are not good for your skin. I do love their bodywash/hand soap, anything that you wash off does OK but don't expect any of their leave on products to do your skin any favors. Therefore, I'm glad they're going more into perfume, I love Hywl and also find Rozu and Tacit really nice but not quite worth the price.
It's not a leave on product but I really like their face scrub. I agree though, that some products seemed off regarding the ingredients like SLS in a sensitive skin shampoo or alcohol in toners...
Finally someone who appreciates Eremia as i do! Have been seeing so much reviews rating eremia as generic and boring. While i find it full of surprises! Was going to get Karst, because i love its freshness, which according to aesop’s description, simulating the feeling of standing on a sea cliff, with the breath of fresh air crashing onto your face. But I picked up samples of both Karst and Eremia, and finds myself having that ‘oh wow i smell good’ moment wearing eremia. It is calm and ethereal, reminds me of something sad and beautiful, something melancholic! just like the official description, a lost, abandoned city! I went straight getting the full size.
Tacit is very good in hot weather. I like Hwyl but too smoky on me. Rozu is too spicy but not sure about the Marakesh. Out of these new three I like the sound of Karst. I don't mind aquatic.
Karst is my favorite. I got a bottle recently. If you’re into really dark and heavy fragrances I can see why you wouldn’t care for it, but it is very fresh and sparkly and a little powdery in my opinion
Mystra (discontinued) is a great myrrh and incense fragrance; very dry, arid scent. Marrakesh was reformulated as Marrakesh Intense; not sure what the difference was. Hwyl is lovely but after your review, I'm interested to sample Eremia now. Sadly, the prices have been creeping up lately as well...
Have you already talked about Eidesis? I’m super into fragrances from this brand. There is also a new perfume this autumn that I’m looking forward for it🥰
Awesome video Sebastian...I was thinking when you mentioned marrakech intense hinted at l'air du dessert marocain - "Wow! L'Air..Marocain seems so unique to me - I didn't think there were any cousins of it out there!" Would you consider a comparison video for these two? (maybe throw in 1 or 2 more if they exist)? Like you did for POAL - where you introduced me to Belgravia Chypre (like 90% identical to POAL)! Thank You...You are the best!
I love their personal hygiene products. Mouthwash ,toothpaste and deodorant are so good. Also love their hand soap and rose shower gel. I’m Trying to buy the oil burner made of solid brass sold out everywhere. Love the fact every store around world is different and unique
195$? For a 50 ml, Omg sometimes i wonder what goes into these perfume that makes them so expensive i mean is it the ingridient ? Or is it the marketing? Or is it just the prestige of the brand ?
Aesop has always been expensive. The most ridiculous one is their sanitizer. I must say though, their store ambiance is the best and the stores here in Sydney even serve wine. Their fragrances are also in a different section where you can have your zen moment and test the fragrances at your pace.
I am a huge fan of Aesop but the new fragrances are just way too expensive I feel like...I was really exited for them to be released but unfortunately they didnt give me any WOW effects. I will just stay with Tacit.
Nah Sorry, but it's not worth it imo Aesop perfumes smell just like soap or shampoo, essential oils or aromatherapy, not real perfume. It would be great if the prices were more reasonable, but the cost performance ratio is pretty bad.
I love Marrakesh Intense and it's the least pricey in their collection. They are priced high yes and I wish they were less expensive but I do occasionally get deals from the Saks I shop at. Great video.
Thank you Sebastian for the video! Been waiting eagerly for this. Karst is definitely in the last place for me as I find it the least interesting among the collection. My top pick has to be Marrakech Intense, it's tried and true, with Eremia coming in 2nd. Miraceti is so unique, but it doesn't sit well in humid Asian climates so I'm still getting used to it.
I used to work for this company and it’s the most toxic and discriminatory company I have worked for. The products are above average but the company culture is revolting.
I have Hywl and really wanted to try these and don’t live near an Aesop, but they’re so tight they don’t have samples available to buy. So shortsighted and kind of ruined my opinion of the company. 👎🏽
My favourite is Rozu. I love the way the rose smells. It doesn't smell like the conventional rose, instead i can smell the whole life cylce of the plant, i.e. flower bud, leaves, stems, then a very subtle blossom to dried rose
That Miraceti is a sleeper beast. It grows and definitely gets dark. Loved the opening...then it turned to a scrubber for me. I don't think I was the target audience for this one!

Karst is the first fragrance from Aesop and is still my favourite out of their fragrance line. I always keep coming back to it
I believe Marikech was the 1st from Aesop :)
Please don’t be harsh on Karst😭 That’s my favourite!!!
I used to work at Aēsop, and I love their body products. There is some really good skincare, too, although I tend to not put essential oil containing stuff on my face anymore. Is the body wash version of Rind Concentrate body balm you were referring to citrus melange body cleanser?
@@C.Y.-T88 Yep! :) I haven't worked there since they brought it out, so I haven't smelled it to tell you it's 100%. But it was years in the making.
hey idk if youre familiar w rochas man or axe dark temptations but they both have a chocolatey scent. Does aesop have any of these?
Hi Sebastian! Thanks for presenting us this new line!

I don't but I do create seasonal fragrance videos for everyone. They have a new one out btw it's Gloam.

Agree
I tried the deodorant sprayer and it last for two hours only if not less.
It's not a leave on product but I really like their face scrub. I agree though, that some products seemed off regarding the ingredients like SLS in a sensitive skin shampoo or alcohol in toners...
I never use fragranced products on my face but I like their hand washes.
Their formulations are not good for your skin? Is that fact or your opinion

Eremia is so so good. I absolutely love it! :)

I love marine so let me try Karst lol
Have you already talked about Eidesis? I’m super into fragrances from this brand. There is also a new perfume this autumn that I’m looking forward for it🥰
Funnily enough I like Karst the best.

Literally just walked up to Aesop and love Eremia, you’re review is spot on! Just wanted to ask which Tom Ford scent has a similar scent.
♡ Marrakech Intense ♡
I adore their hand care products 😍
I am a huge fan of Aesop but the new fragrances are just way too expensive I feel like...I was really exited for them to be released but unfortunately they didnt give me any WOW effects. I will just stay with Tacit.
Just clicked on this video and am SO excited I left a like before you said a word. I’ve been waiting for this one …
Thank you!! 😀
Hwyl's my favourite one! I am getting a sample for eremia on my next order so I'm keen to try that one for sure
It’s a favorite of many it seems!!
Please Sebastian do some videos about your favourite Italian niche houses also your favourite from xerjoff House.
Thanks
Soon, very soon!! :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy thanks again
Once again, The Perfume Guy answered a question I had before I even asked it. Amazing channel!
Nah
Sorry, but it's not worth it imo
Aesop perfumes smell just like soap or shampoo, essential oils or aromatherapy, not real perfume.
It would be great if the prices were more reasonable, but the cost performance ratio is pretty bad.
I use the face scrub and clay mask about once a week. I have Hwyl and love the smell but I think I am slighlty allergic to something in it.
I love Marrakesh Intense and it's the least pricey in their collection. They are priced high yes and I wish they were less expensive but I do occasionally get deals from the Saks I shop at. Great video.
Not anymore. Tacit is now the least expensive fragrance because Marrakesh Intense is now a EdP
best reviewer in the world!! really enjoy watching your videos!!
Sebastian could you tell me where can I purchase Daniel Hechter Caractare?
I bought it from Fragrancenet. I have a link in the info box :)
@@ThePerfumeGuy I'll do the same thing thxxxx👌👌👌
Must check Eremias. You make it sound so good.
Amazing channel
Amazing content 👌 👏
Thank you so much 😀

Ooh cool, thank you for stopping by!!! 😀
THEY JUST RELEASED EIDESIS IN SINGAPORE YESTERDAY!! GUYSSSSS ITS SO GOOODDD😭
YES it is really good!!
I used to work for this company and it’s the most toxic and discriminatory company I have worked for. The products are above average but the company culture is revolting.
Eremia reminds me of Maison Margiela Untitled Fragrance ! Wdyt?
I have Hywl and really wanted to try these and don’t live near an Aesop, but they’re so tight they don’t have samples available to buy. So shortsighted and kind of ruined my opinion of the company. 👎🏽
I love their personal care products but haven't sampled their perfumes yet. Which do you recommend I try first?
Ooh I know you've spoken about this house but never sampled even their other products are very new to me. Worth it?
Hi Sebastian, please check out katana perfume. Stay safe
Have you try Aesop new perfume Ouranon yet?
I really love them, but it hard to use them. I'm waiting for your review.
I haven’t yet hopefully soon!!
My favourite is Rozu.
I love the way the rose smells. It doesn't smell like the conventional rose, instead i can smell the whole life cylce of the plant, i.e. flower bud, leaves, stems, then a very subtle blossom to dried rose
Thinking about getting it for myself would you say it is more masculine or feminine leaning
Always great videos, and I always learn so much from you. Thank you.
You turned me onto Rozu last year and I have enjoyed wearing it. it could use a bit more intensity but I love the smell. I have to try the new one.
Another one of a great many houses I'd like to investigate.
I’m very curious about Aesop .
Rozu is always sold out 😂
Hwyl is great. I bought a bottle.
Wish they had a discovery set.
That would be cool yes! They don't have that! :(
That Miraceti is a sleeper beast. It grows and definitely gets dark. Loved the opening...then it turned to a scrubber for me. I don't think I was the target audience for this one!
Eek, Oh no! :(
I hope you could review all the Gucci The Alchemists Garden Line.

Too expensive for my situation, which is quite unfortunate.
“ Unfortunate ” : Yes . “ Momentary “ : Also , Yes .
Tacit is my fav! Having a hard time liking other perfume tho.. i hate perfumes that smell too strong, but i wish tacit can last longer tho
I’m so happy you appreciate Aesop so much!
"THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
Tacit Fan.

Mira che ti.. it's Italiano😊
👍👍👍
Anyone else read that as "Osteoperosis" at first? 🤣
LOL!
I clicked so quick on this video. I sent you three messages on IG and finally you did it. Thank you.
