Addictive Vibration Musk Therapy Magnetic Blend 7 & Atomic Rose are their best summer weather offerings at the moment. I never realized how much addictive vibration & Atomic Rose were feminine fragrances when I tested it in May June Bc how well it performed on my skin & white Tees but as it got sticky hot & even as it cools down in New York right now the sweetness started to pop on my skin & now I don’t like either one at all
My favorite is Musk Therapy. It's a great scent but lean a little more feminine. So what I do is layer it with TF Oud Wood and the result is absolutely gorgeous.
I bought 1 ml testers from a few of these, because of your reviews! Then I ended up buying the "Absolute Aphrodisiac", the 90 ml one. This.....lives up to its name!!! A real aphrodisiac! I love Rehab but on me it sits very close to the skin and the longevity doesn’t last more than a few hours- especially contrasted with how strong most of their other fragrances are. OFG, Side Effect and Blessed Baraka are great and in my regular rotation.
Maybe you should try Spicebomb Infrared instead if you haven't already. It smells like Rehab but more intense. I'm certain it has the longevity you're looking for.
I’ve got quite a few Initios. Atomic Rose, Side Effect, Rehab, OFG, High Frequency, also an under the radar one which I really like - Addictive Vibration. For a night out, I prefer it to Baccarat and I think I like it more than Layton. Very uplifting feel good scent. Smells fantastic to my nose.
Wow! You are so correct when you said perfume is subjective! I’m highly surprised by your list. I have 5 Initio fragrances and I will tank them as I prefer. 5) Rehab, 4) Blessed Baracka, 3) Musk Therapy, 2) Oud For Greatness and my absolute favorite is definitely 1) Side Effect.
I know musk therapy definitely makes more sense to wear in the heat. However it’s also really nice at night , it’s calming and it relaxes me and it’s performance is good enough to cut through the cold. Musk therapy is heavily slept on because it doesn’t get the credit it deserves

Absolute Aphrodisiac is incredible. My friend had a sample of a dupe which we smelled together. I loved it, so I ordered a decant of the OG and was blown away. I just bought a bottle of Tom Ford Vanille Fatale because I heard it’s been discontinued and it has been my favorite vanilla, but now I think I might prefer Absolute Aphrodisiac 😬.
I mean that's his list. His personal opinion. So it is what it is. But yes it is a shocker. But I do think musk therapy is criminally underrated in the community. Often overlooked. Rehab is good as well.
My favorite local perfume shop is called Etiket, in Montreal Canada and they just recently added Initio to their collection of fragrances, so I've finally had the opportunity to smell them all (except Oud for Happiness because they don't have it yet). They give me free samples of whatever fragrances I want to try on skin and I've got a bunch right now but haven't had the chance to try them all yet. So, far though, my favorite is Atomic Rose. I think it's one of the best rose fragrances I've ever smelled and I'm a huge fan of rose... so that one wins. I have samples of Side Effect, Blessed Baraka, Rehab, Absolute Aphrodisiac and Oud For Greatness that I still haven't tried on skin yet, so my # 1 may change.

I started out with Oud for Greatness, then tried Side Effect, Atomic Rose, Rehab, Musk Therapy, Absolute Aphrodisiac, and Blessed Baraka, but ended up settling on Atomic Rose. It is a very sexy erotic and exotic scent. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves hyper feminine perfumes. I have not smelled Oud for Happiness, but most reviews are underwhelming, so maybe no point.
Agreed oud for Happiness is not great, I get bad feed back when I wear this. I do mix oud for greatness with absolute aphrodisiac. Using greatness as a base, just a few spurts as it’s strong, then over lay absolutely aphrodisiac with around 4 squirts.
I feel like Magnetic 7 and Musk Therapy would normally to be my favs from this house, HOWEVER, Absolute Aphrodisiac made me really appreciate vanilla, so it's my top pick. Lots of beautiful fragrances from this house though, you really can't go wrong.

Musk Therapy is the only one I have sampled and it’s very addicting to smell. It’s on my list to buy a full bottle soon for the summer time. It’s so much more than just a “clean skin smell”.
My favourites are Rehab, Oud for Greatness and Side Effect in that order. I also have a sample of Musk Therapy and like it too but its more for Spring/Summer so waiting until next year to fully test it out. Going to order samples of Blessed Baraka (the notes intrigue me), Absolute Aphrodisiac (based on this review although apparently it leans more feminine) and Oud for Happiness (which seems to be getting mixed reviews so far, some great, some not so great). Rehab is definitely my favourite. The smell is very addictive, to my nose a dry tobacco and cinnamon smell (similar to Spicebomb Extreme) despite neither note being listed on Fragrantica.

I smelt most of them and was between psychedelic love and absolute aphrodisiac and for some reason i went for psychedelic love, but then immediately regretted the purchase as it’s too heavy it gives me headaches.

I am a huge fan of PdM, indeed Rehab is amazing but not like Layton, I would say it is a mix of Pegasus and Herod, and a niche version of Spice bomb....anyway, for some reason Initio fragrances are too feminine for me, I think your top two are considered for women, so I haven't try them yet...
hi Sebastian , at the start of the video you were showing the 'white bottle' as side effect. But side effect bottle is actually purple isn't it? Rehab is the white one I suppose how everything started I think. Because here in Australia, side effect is the purple bottle. I hope that I was mistaken with the wrong bottle.
I haven’t been a fan of this house. I makes the mistake to blind buy musk therapy and had to sell it at a loss. It made me nauseous. Sampled both oud for happiness and greatness and wasn’t impressed either. Debating on buying a decant of Paragon as I love plum scents but not sure Initio will do it justice
I too just discovered Absolute Aphrodisiac recently, this weekend to be exact, and I am in love. Top 3 for sure from Initio. Projection for AA is a little weak though, and duration is a bit low, but the scent is too amazing not to own. Sad to see no mention of Mystic Experience or Psychedelic Love on here, which are two amazing fragrances for Spring moving into Summer!
I enjoy your top 2 but I would reverse them. But both are excellent on me. The rest seem a bit masculine at least the ones I tried. Pricey house but if I enjoy a fragrance I will definitely pick up fragrances from them.
Would like to try Oud For Greatness but I was left underwhelmed as well. ..Tried a decant of Side Effect and couldn't stand it on my skin. Definitely strong and lasts long but the sent made me feel a little sick even with just one spray on my arm. Too feminine imo...

Having sampled at least 7 different fragrance vials from Initio, I finally decided to opt for a purchase of the 90ml full-size bottle of Side Effect last week. However, excitement soon turned into disappointment. What struck me most from the first few sprays was the fragrance smelled somewhat airier & less dense as how I have become accustomed to. Several hours later, it became obvious that my new 90ml bottle (batch code: 1370365; 13 Sept 2021) has significantly less longevity than my sample vial (batch code: 9102; 12 April 2019). And upon closer scrutiny, it was finally confirmed that my 2021 batch has quietly had its alcohol content increased by 4% to 80% as compared to that of my 2019 sample vial (76%). A full 4% reduction in perfume oil!!! Question: Going forward, how do we even make informed choices when it comes to purchasing full-size bottles even though we have already taken the precautions of first sampling sample vials? Should there be a mandate/practice to require fragrance houses to clearly list alcohol content percentages of their products in all their advertisements? Consumers need to know exactly what they are buying!
I’m really having a hard time getting use to you as “The Perfume Guy” it doesn’t have as much uniqueness and pop as “Smelling Great Fragrance” . But I understand it was a brand decision. Keep up the good work

You won’t regret MT. I own a ton of perfume and MT and Feve are the only two I have back ups of. It’s so beautiful.

I smelt most of them and was between psychedelic love and absolute aphrodisiac and for some reason i went for psychedelic love, but then immediately regretted the purchase as it’s too heavy it gives me headaches.

I am a huge fan of PdM, indeed Rehab is amazing but not like Layton, I would say it is a mix of Pegasus and Herod, and a niche version of Spice bomb....anyway, for some reason Initio fragrances are too feminine for me, I think your top two are considered for women, so I haven't try them yet...

hi Sebastian , at the start of the video you were showing the 'white bottle' as side effect. But side effect bottle is actually purple isn't it? Rehab is the white one I suppose how everything started I think. Because here in Australia, side effect is the purple bottle. I hope that I was mistaken with the wrong bottle.
Side Effect is my absolute favorite at the moment.

Great house ! With this house you will like different choices for sure and the hype fragrances here you can buy but the jewels are in the others!
I haven’t been a fan of this house. I makes the mistake to blind buy musk therapy and had to sell it at a loss. It made me nauseous. Sampled both oud for happiness and greatness and wasn’t impressed either. Debating on buying a decant of Paragon as I love plum scents but not sure Initio will do it justice
Need to explore Initio but I love Parfums de Marly.
I too just discovered Absolute Aphrodisiac recently, this weekend to be exact, and I am in love. Top 3 for sure from Initio. Projection for AA is a little weak though, and duration is a bit low, but the scent is too amazing not to own.
Sad to see no mention of Mystic Experience or Psychedelic Love on here, which are two amazing fragrances for Spring moving into Summer!

I'm with you on Oud for Greatness. First time I smelled it, I was like "is that it? where is the greatness?" LOL not a fan at all
I enjoy your top 2 but I would reverse them. But both are excellent on me. The rest seem a bit masculine at least the ones I tried. Pricey house but if I enjoy a fragrance I will definitely pick up fragrances from them.
We almost have the same top 3. 1. Musk Therapy, 2. Atomic Rose, 3. Absolute Aphrodisiac makes mine.

I'm always left underwhelmed with this house. It just don't work for me too much. I do enjoy Oud For Greatness but it's certainly missing something.
Would like to try Oud For Greatness but I was left underwhelmed as well. ..Tried a decant of Side Effect and couldn't stand it on my skin. Definitely strong and lasts long but the sent made me feel a little sick even with just one spray on my arm. Too feminine imo...

Having sampled at least 7 different fragrance vials from Initio, I finally decided to opt for a purchase of the 90ml full-size bottle of Side Effect last week. However, excitement soon turned into disappointment. What struck me most from the first few sprays was the fragrance smelled somewhat airier & less dense as how I have become accustomed to. Several hours later, it became obvious that my new 90ml bottle (batch code: 1370365; 13 Sept 2021) has significantly less longevity than my sample vial (batch code: 9102; 12 April 2019). And upon closer scrutiny, it was finally confirmed that my 2021 batch has quietly had its alcohol content increased by 4% to 80% as compared to that of my 2019 sample vial (76%). A full 4% reduction in perfume oil!!! Question: Going forward, how do we even make informed choices when it comes to purchasing full-size bottles even though we have already taken the precautions of first sampling sample vials? Should there be a mandate/practice to require fragrance houses to clearly list alcohol content percentages of their products in all their advertisements? Consumers need to know exactly what they are buying!

I’m really having a hard time getting use to you as “The Perfume Guy” it doesn’t have as much uniqueness and pop as “Smelling Great Fragrance” . But I understand it was a brand decision. Keep up the good work

Musk therapy is awesome but why don’t they make these fragrances to last?. I bought a full bottle but I am disappointed by the sillage and lasting power.

Total noob here. How would you compare Blessed Baraka and Absolute Aphrodisiac? They're similarly priced, and contain vanilla, but what makes them different
Side effect disappointed me , it’s good but the performance is meh on my skin. Musk therapy and OUD for greatness perform much much better
