I’ve tried imagination a few times and still think it’s very basic. Afternoon swim as well. L’immensite & Ombre Nomade are the ones I’ve liked the most.

I enjoy Imagination. I find LV's to be designer in profile, yet very high quality. The price is what gets me though. Should be no more than $220 for what it is.
Imagination is AMAZING. Loved since very first smell. It is such an appealing, pleasing fragrance. I love it more in the drydown, when the initial blast of citrus fades away a little.
Great list, Sebastian! My SOTD is LV Le Jour se Leve. To me, it’s really fresh and easy to wear, great for warmer weather. I also really enjoy On the Beach, but agree that it doesn’t really conjure up a beach!

After watching this video I went to LV boutique and I spent a good time trying these fragrances. Verdict: I love Ombre Nomade and I bought it, I like Nouveau Monde, but not sure if I will get it, and I like most of the freshies, but way overpriced for what they are. There’s plenty of fresh fragrances on the market for much less to pay. Still Ombre Nomade is a beautiful discovery to me 👍
The only issue with Ombre Nomade is that I find it very similar smelling as your average oud rose attar in almost every middle eastern perfume shop, but it's still a very well done fragrance.
I wear Nouveau Monde, and am due to refill soon, have you had any feedback on the refill formula? I'm not sure I want to refill is performance and scent is markedly different
Can’t agree with Hombre Nomade being the best of the bunch. Not even close. It’s just too polarizing, as it’s not the type of fragrance that is going to be loved by pretty much everyone that smells it. LV’s number 1 fragrance, IMO, has to GOT be Afternoon Swim, as it’s the type of fragrance that 9 out of 10 people are going to absolutely love. It smells wonderful and is extremely versatile. I know of no other primary citrus fragrance that is so mouthwatering. And speaking of versatility, that’s why I would put Imagination as my second best LV fragrance. Like you, it took some time for me to fully appreciate it, but now, it’s probably one of the most perfect “freshie” fragrances around. It smells soooo good when heavily applied, especially on clothing. And I agree with you about Orage. It is my third favorite LV fragrance. Wonderful, addicting scent.

I tried Afternoon Swim, smells fine but it is too weak. I tried Ombre Nomade, smells cheap and I have much better Oud/Rose fragrances. I only own Imagination. The perfect summer scent!☀️🏝️😎
I just want to encounter a LV fragrance that supplies the same level of excitement that I received when wearing L’eau D’Issey Pour Homme back in the 90’s and early 2000’s.
I'll be honest: As many times as youve discussed LV, I've never tried or seen any of these fragrances in stores, but the City of Stars bottle is soooo cute that it makes me want it.
By stores I assume you mean department stores, and they aren’t sold there. You have to go to an actual LV boutique. Although sometimes there is an LV store inside Bloomingdales, Nordstroms, etc.
For me On the Beach is the best "summer/beachy" scent. Favorite LV fragrance right after Ombre Nomade. For women, Atrape Reves is amazing, maybe my favorite "ladies" fragrance atm.
Imagination is the only LV perfume I’m tempted to buy, I tried it on one arm and then I sprayed Amouage reflection man on the other and they are pretty similar so I’m confused on what to buy
Ombré Nomad is on my bucket list. I’ve sampled it and I can’t get enough of how good it smells but I don’t know why it reminds me of Gucci intense OUD as well.
I was in a bar a few months ago and a friend's brother came in. I know him to talk to and noticed he smelt like TF Oud Wood, so I asked if that's what he was wearing. He said no it's LV. I kept smelling it all night and asked him a couple of times, are you sure it's not OW? He laughed and said I promise, it's LV. Is it Ombre Nomade? Is it a little like OW? I've not been able to get my nose on it and haven't seen him since to ask and I doubt he'd know anyway as his gf bought it.
Just as I was about to order some LV samples the work is now done! Timely as ever. I have to agree Ombre Nomade is something else. But I have some real inspiration to be getting on with now too.

100% agree on On the Beach and City and Stars having names that should be reversed. You mention a Sand note in On the Beach ... what does sand even smell like?? 🤣 ... will definitely be picking up City of Stars for this summer / next beach vacation. Love L'Immensite and Imagination for summer as well. Agree that these are both better and more interesting/unique than Meteore which is in the same category.

Ombre Nomade & Nouveau Monde are on my favorite liste forever. But to my nose Nouveau monde is not as animalic as Nuit de Feu which I find the Oud really barnyardy in the opening 🐏🐐😂
I ordered a sample of L'Immensite and I can barely smell it I don't recall it being that light. I might have to go back to the Louis V store and try it again. I have Ombre Nomade and I've had it for a couple of months waiting for the right moment to wear it. I just recently sampled the decant of Les Sables Roses that the LV store gave to me and I gotta have it. My wife even enjoyed it and she hates everything.

Majority of the LV fragrances are so uninspiring for the asking price, like they have been made with minimal to non creativity with some exceptions like ombre nomade and les sables roses. Btw tygar has much more depth than limmensite imo.
I think sur la route is similar to eau fraiche from chanel its citrus fraiche what do you think and what s the woman fragrence from lvvthank you from morocco
ive had sur la route for 2 years and bottles practically full...just too green and grassy on my skin..au hasard is my top 3 lv scent..just got aftenoon swim and liking it also

I pulled the trigger on Pacific Chill two weeks ago. My LV collection now comprises of L’mmensite, on the beach, orage, imagination, sur la route, afternoon swim, California dream and pacific chill.
I have the entire line, however they rely way too much on anbroxin in general. Imagination has grown on me also Au hasard is an amazing fragrance i would disagree with you on your assessment of it. The amount of compliments that I get while wearing it is off the charts.

My top three is Orage, the meteor and cactus garden which is not on the list. Orange is a bomb with pheromones and my characteristic aroma, there is no fragrance that gives me more compliments than this one.

I too didn't like imagination when I smelled it for the first time, but now I love the smell, long lasting and the scent trail is awesome
I just picked up L'Immensité and wow… pulled me in immediately. The rest were also great but this one is amazing to me.

I like Meteore and today I sampled City of Stars and after about 4-5 hours COS smells very much like Meteore.
I find imagination boring, I guess I will have to see if it grows on me, BUT me and my mom both love Les Sables! 🌹😍

Sur La Route is still my no1 frm LV. Layer it with The Dreamer and Au Coeur du Desert at night.. its goooood~

Orage seems most interesting to me, Imagination is second, Les Sables Rose is interesting too but too common as many girls are wearing it.
