Great list! I have several of these on my must try list. Also, absolutely love 1740 and Fougere Bengale as well. It’s been really interesting getting to know them, as either my nose has developed to pick up different aspects of them, or the juice has matured in the bottle. 1740 I get more sweetness than I used to, and Fougere Bengale I finally pick up on the ‘Fougere’ quality. It has such a weird, yeasty, spiced bread accord. My latest pickup for Fall has been Tauer Sundowner. I was on the fence for awhile, as I thought it had too much cinnamon…but after revisiting it, the tobacco is coming through so beautifully. Highly recommended!
Thank you very much! That ”yeasty bread” reference is very interesting as I never thought about that before but I think you are already second person to say that and after hearing that, it totally made sense to me. Thank you for the recommendation! I’ll definitely keep my eye on that as I haven’t actually smelled that but few other Tauer’s though
I've had my sample of 1740 for years, but just fell completely in love with it this year... gonna get a bottle for sure. Very sexy / elegant / dark / alluring scent to me.
As much as I love Bel Ami Vetiver, its very hard to wear it in tropical climate like here in Indonesia. Sold my bottle back then, still love the scent. Now I know it indeed smells amazing in Fall.
Very exquisite selection! I've not heard of Patchouli Absolu in a long long time....blast from the past. I am quite intrigued about Houbigant's Bois Mystique...thanks for covering that. The Ormonde Jayne's Nawabh of Oudh does have a convincing natural oud core to my nose so it's interesting to hear your take on it. I find the scent very seamless and well blended. Knize Ten is so good!
@@gunmetal2445 Thank you for watching and leaving a comment! I find Nawab Of Oudh Intensivo very interesting as on my skin I really don’t get any kind of oud relation with that. But it would be interesting to try the original Nawab Of Oudh and see how it is. I just wore Knize Ten now today and it’s brilliant!
An elegant selection for autumn. Coromandel is a personal favourite and is indeed named after Coco Chanel’s black lacquered screens. Ormonde Jayne is a seriously underrated brand so good to hear a review finally sing their praises. I think you might like Maharadjah, Parfums de Nicolaï and Carner, Cuirs based off this selection!
@@CBEEBLE thank you! I actually didn’t know that about Coromandel but yes that makes a perfect sense now! I think I haven’t tried either of those but I will keep then in my mind. I liked Nicolai Baikal Leather and Carner Sandor 70’s at least so I’m curious to try those two 2 you mentioned.
Lovely list. I have the opposite experience with Coromandel EDP. I find it too polished. They took all the edge out of the patchouli. I'll have to give Bois Mystique a try.
@@TheRealLeeM I always find opposite experiences very interesting! But that’s basically what I also meant with Coromandel Edp that the patchouli is bit more austere and ”raw” in Edt. There’s just something else in the Edp that makes it bit too sharp for my taste.
@@enriqueali That’s really great to thank you! Heritage Edt is brilliant and I’m convinced you will enjoy it! I don’t have a very big collection either (anymore) and I really think that it gives more meaning to all the perfumes in the collection so personally I prefer smaller collection any day 😊👌

@@AndreasVibes thank you my friend! I love pretty much everything about Autumn too and it is my favorite season as well. Knize Ten wasn’t a love straight away but it has become a special fragrance to me
Hello Timo! I've haven't tried all of the fragrances form your list but I'm actually wearing today the vintage Kouros. I totally agree with your description. I'm curious, do you like any of the modern releases? Cheers from Italy.
@@luciferro2002 Cheers! Kouros is always great choice to wear! Yes I do have modern perfumes too and I find it necessary for me to have those as well as they offer something different and from a different time and era. Thanks for watching!
Nice video, awesome picks. Kouros, 1740 & Patchouli absolu are longtime autumnal favorites of mine as well (ok I wear Kouros all year round) and I just picked up a full fat 200ml flask of Coromandel EdT; not a big fan of very ”polished” scents in general but together with silver stem Dior Homme & silver collar Dior Homme Intense, Coromandel rounds up my 1st choice offensive line-up for occasions that call for dandying it up a little bit. I totally agree with you regarding the EdT vs. EdP, I feel the EdT actually toes that ”almost too pretty” line perfectly, by throwing in something a bit more primal, something that’s not exactly dirty but a nuance that makes it more interesting and lifts it above the EdP (which in my opinion is also sweeter, although I have heard people claim exactly the opposite). Coromandel is also one of those scents that shapeshift in peculiar ways: sometimes it’s more citrusy, sometimes I could swear I get a lot more of the patchouli, sometimes warm and cozy, other times energizing… But as you also note, it never fails to make me feel good when wearing it. Nawab of Oudh Intensivo sounds intriguing.
@@drewanstore5550 Thank you! I totally feel the same way about Coromandel that has many different facets about it depending the day, weather, climate or you name it. It’s one of those examples of a brilliantly made perfume that pretty much every time offers something new or at least different. Nawab Of Oudh Intensivo has become a big, big favorite of mine.
