Eau Fraiche really is underrated! It would be more popular if it didn't come out during covid. Possibly my favorite summer fragrance and it's my wife's second favorite.

Le Parfum, #1 for me
This really is detailed and quite precise description of YSL Y lineup - one of the best fragrance lines on the market. We all know and love EDP. Le Parfum is dark knight of the line. Intense is clean, aromatic and soapy. Elixir is specia and sophisticatedl in its own way ! I wouldn't like to be deprived of any of them ! Excellent video !!!

Just bought the Le Parfum a few days ago and I went right on to use it. The longevity is INSANE! For me, the best frag in the Y Line.

Do you own Y Elixir? If so, what's your opinion on it? It's the only one I haven't picked up
@warhawg9564 I smelled it, wasn't super impressed, skipped buying it. Y Elixir felt like it was trying too hard and just didn't have what it takes.
The ones I really like, EDT, Eau Fraiche, and Live, what they all have in common is that they feel like they smell exactly like what they're supposed to smell like. This video made me decide to wear Y Live in fact, and I'm just absolutely enjoying it.

Fraiche really is the best of the line 💯 I'd buy Y L'Elixir again (I returned it I was so unimpressed) if I can score it like $80, which is still more than its worth imho 🤣
I love y elexir
Ysl intense is my all time fragrance. I owen so many fragrances in my collection but i keep coming back to intense.
Le Parfum and Eau Fraiche are the two I own and think are best.
6:15 I always remember the Y Live commercial, where the frontman of Maroon 5 (Adam Levine) drives a Mustang, then plays rock on the roof of a house. The best advertising in my opinion and well describes the character of the fragrance Y. If I take one, then I would take Y Le parfum, this is all that is needed for me☝️🤓🖤✨
Y Eau Fraichi is my favorite spring cologne. I had that bottle for about 2 years now
Intense is my favorite being less sweet and more versatile - for me.
I have Y EDT, EDP, and Eau Fraiche. Safe to say it's my favorite line :D

The Fraiche is discontinued I believe….
That’s probably my favorite from the line.
I kept that one and Fraiche… Gave away the EDP to by brother and the edt to my son.

Hi Ash, Is it possible to put all the fragrance information on 1 slide ?
I love your videos and take multiple screen shots on my phone for each fragrance and use it as reference for when I go to the mall to shop around.
I have some screen shots with notes but no prices. A screenshot with fragrance vs clone but no notes. A screen shot with notes but no performance bar chart. Etc.
Example:
- bottom left quadrant has Retail cost vs Discounter cost for each size.
- Bottom right quadrant has all the clones ranked from best to worse going from left to right. Maybe include how close it is to the original and price range.
- Dead center would have the picture of the fragrance, name,year released and status. Maybe mention if it's on your top 10 for summer etc.
- upper left quadrant would have your performance bar chart with the projection etc.
- upper right quadrant would have all the notes. Top, middle and base notes.
This would be a BIG help.

Unpopular opinion - but the Y Elixir performs the best & has been a compliment monster.
Le parfum is the best
It's probably just me, but the Y EDP Intense comes off as VERY fruity. I almost always try it whenever I'm at a mall or duty-free shop just to sort of confirm it. 😅 I'm a fan of Y EDP and Y Le Parfum. I've gotten plenty of compliments from both and, while I definitely enjoy Y EDP the most, I absolutely enjoy the way Y Le Parfum pushes off my skin in high heat or when I'm moving around a lot, just enough to make my body heat up. That's when the compliments start rolling in, even if I sprayed 7 to 8 hours prior. These fragrances sell well for a reason! 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Y live is amazing it is by far my favorite I always have 2 bottles bc for whatever reason they don’t make a 200 ml bottle.
i don't like EDP, my wife loves it but i cant convince my self. MY self though...i love it
The only two I ❤ are EDP and le parfum … both were love at first sniff
Since the relaese of Intence, i gravitate towards that more... But sometimes just layer the edp & Intence for a change up...
I own the EDP & EDPI. I haven't even smelled the others, but may blind-buy the Parfum next.
The parfum in my opinion is actually smoother. The EDP and the intense are a lot stronger as far as spice goes. It’s the more classy suit and tie type fragrance for me.
@@genesisansbro4936 I like the fact the the edp and the edpi aren't redundant. I can wear them like 2 different fragrances rather than 2 flankers from the same line. In reviews the parfum sounds close to the edp, but maybe a little more dressed up? If so, I'll be happy to have it.

I like and have LeParfum, Eau Fraiche, new EDT, Intense and I want to buy Elixir. Instead od EDP I've bought Lattafa - Fakhar Black
So many youtubers say Y EDP has beastmode longevity, but I strongly disagree. I love the scent so much I own 4 100ml bottles, but the scent only lasts about 3 hours for me before it pulls back hard into a skin scent. Then it's gone almost entirely after another couple hours.
Original release bottles are absolutely beast mode. I Can’t speak for anything past that first year.

Maybe try moisturizer? I have a bottle, and I get very long and strong performance. I'll go very light and start to feel insecure that I put on too much because it fills the room when I've been sitting down for a few minutes. It definitely performs strongly, I don't even like the scent all that much, I just wear it because of its performance.
@@gilbertoflores7397 I use cerave moisturizer and nope. Bottles are from Ulta. Happy for you that yours lasts though.
All the YSL Y EdP batches I had to this are still very strong on my skin even after 10 hours when I usually take a shower in the evening. Though I remember the first time I had Y EdP, I couldn't smell it for 2 Weeks thought it was week while people around me told that my parfum is very strong😂
Please review Tumi Continuum and say if any clone houses have a similar smell, best new scent I got out of my monthly different sub!

I was actually unimpressed with the Elixir as it smelled too fruity. EDP was my first purchase and I just recently bought Le Parfum because it smells similar to Bleu De Chanel Parfum at a fraction on the price.
edt, edp and live! are the best . I like the elixer but its not worth the cost

I work with vendors from Aqua de Gio and they say that the formula hasn’t changed, it’s just a refillable bottle now

Ashton, another fantastic review. Frankly, I go to your channel more and more often given that the way you describe fragrances is the most accurate in my opinion. In contrast to other channels often run by an absolute psychopaths like Ross from TLTG.

Idk if it would be a clone… but the Ralphs club, EDT and EDP are the closest for me. There’s not much as far as designer lines go that I think would compare much closer then that.

They're supposed to be, Even Ash has said he didn't really like them. He's the one who started the hype years ago on the line, because he tracked all the fragrances he wore and tracked all the unsolicited compliments he received for a whole year, and to his surprise, the most compliments he got for a fragrance was YSL Y and Y edp, so him saying it was the biggest compliments getter made everyone else reevaluate the fragrance, because they had negative reviews on them at launch. Ash said himself they're generics, and boring, but they work for its intended purpose and he loved their performance (y edp).
