This is such a perfect list for all the beginner scent collectors. All of these are 10/10 frags. Each doing their own amazing job in their own division. Spring, summer, fall and winter. For Casual, formal, date nights or parties. These 25 absolutely hit every single mark 🔥👍💪
Tbh nothing holds a candle to Eau Vetiver Intense for me. Nothing. TDH EDT is perfectly fine, it's just Vetiver Intense is so much better than the other two or three TDH I smelled. That and Bleu de Chanel are a few must haves for a certain kind of career oriented, mature man. Absolutely recommend in any collection, must haves like The One by D&G, Luna Rossa Black by Prada, Man in Black by Bulgari etc.

Actually glad you got a newer bottle of Guerlain Edp and didn't just seek out the older batches. I have the newer bottles and have had no complaints with it but some people are screaming reformulations and what not

I went to the mall today and they had a tester of YSL MYSLF and i sprayed it on and i have to say i love it! Might have to grab one if i find it cheaper somewhere else
i was in sephora to buy ADG parfum, and of course i had to smell some other fragrances. I smelled ysl myself and absolutely fell in love. To try to save some money, i only walked up to the counter to buy ADG parfum. As i’m being rung up, at the last second i asked if she can grab a YSL myself lol. I don’t regret it

I'm just getting into fragrances, but so far I have a 50 ml bottle of Paco Rabanne Invictus Victory Elixir and a 125 ml bottle of Jean Paul Gaultier Le Beau Paradise Garden. I bought the 1st at the local Ulta, and I ordered the 2nd from Amazon. I'm not sure which one I'm going to use tomorrow. I sprayed one little mist of the JPG Paradise Garden on my arm to test it, and I really like it so far. I work in an office, but so far no one has complained about my using like four sprays of Victory elixir, so I don't think they will mind if I use the Paradise Garden. I think those two should last me until it gets cold again, and then I can get a Spicebomb or maybe a Hugo Boss The Scent Elixir. I've smelled a bunch of fragrances at Ulta and Sephora recently, and so far I wasn't really impressed with Dior Sauvage, but I liked Polo Blue parfum and PR Invictus and One Million, that I tried. I liked the Coach Green too. I really want to try some higher end brands, like Tom Ford and Bulgari and MFK and Parfums de Marly and Creed, but I don't know where they have them in stock around me. I also want to try the new PR One Million Golden Oud, and I want to try JPG Scandal. One of my ex coworkers said he uses Louis Vuitton fragrances, but I'm not sure which one. I haven't really seen many mentions of their fragrances so far.
From that list I have Eros Flame, Le Male Elixir and Invictus Victory Elixir. The next one will surely be Gentleman Reserve Privée, the most incredible fragrance I have ever smelled.
The Hermès intense vetiver (not sure I spelled that right) gives me a headache 🤕 I love le’male Elixer it’s a MUST HAVE!!! in my opinion. The most coveted cologne I love over everything and they YSL discontinued it for some reason, I’m sure everyone knows what it is, YSL L’Homme Intense!! I need it in my life

Love your lists and reviews, however our tastes are a bit different. I'd ditch the Hermes (can't stand any of them), and the Varvatos (wife though I sprayed on lemon bathroom cleaner) and replace them the most versatile anytime-anywhere and one of the best fragrances ever - Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme. I'd also include the criminally under-rated Gucci Guilty EDP Pour Homme and/or YSL Bleu Electrique'. You can find it reasonably priced these days.
I have percival by PDM and it smells like fierce is what I keep hearing( never had fierce) so I think i won’t buy legend but definitely will look into Prada l’homme

You know honestly what I wish to see Ash try now is those kind of colognes that presidents and heads of state use. There's this short video of this guy goes into store and says "give me your most expensive perfume" and it was a like $10,000 bottle of pure perfume oil of some ultra niche brand I never heard of that heads of state like Emanuel Macron use. I kind of want to see Ash do an "here's what Johnny Depp and Antonio Banderas and Brad Pitt ACTUALLY smell like in real life, not just what they're endorsing" or an "here's my top 10 Heads of State fragrances." I've learned there's different levels I don't know how to explain, but like Alghabra and Amouage is the kind of stuff actual six figure earners and extremely successful career people own, along with Tom Ford and Kilian etc. Which tbh Tom Ford is about the lowest rung, everyone knows what Tom Ford is (I think?). Below that you get your hipster urban yuppie tier brands like Initio and Le Labo, that I imagine every tech startup office smells like (along with that one Tom Ford wearer, like that one guy that insists on wearing Grey or something simple yet classy amidst all the bougie social climbing hipsterism of burnt Palo Santo and Burning Man NFTs). Next comes stuff like Bulgari, Prada, Chanel, the kind of brands where you still can expect to pay triple digits for a bottle. Regular guys that are more career and success oriented, people with style, might not smell it at a Walmart or Home Depot, might smell it at Trader Joes because his Le Labo wearing partner wanted something there. The next tier down after that is YSL, Dolce and Gabana, Armani EDTs, some Eros or Sauvage type that is expensive enough to be a tier higher but common enough everybody wears it, think college kids, frat boys, might smell it at a walmart or Home Depot but more likely because that's the kid's summer job or something. Like that one black dude who comes in wearing a suit and dress shoes amidst a sea of "I'm Not a People Person Today" graphic t shirts. After that comes Cremo and Ariane Grande, Nautica and Adidas, the kind of stuff that might remind a middleclass white girl of dating her senior year crush. Can be smelled in Macys and Kmart. This is all incredibly douchebaggy and snobbish but it's been my observation IRL and on youtube. Like six figure earners definitely steer toward Tom Ford, Initio, Kilian, Amouge, Parfums de Marly and stuff like that. But I don't think billionaires and politicians actually wear that stuff. Like I know Antonio Banderas doesn't wear his line.

Bdc Parfum is both overrated and severely underrated at the same time. I absolutely love it and hold it as my favorite cologne of all time to this day. I mix it and spray it over pure Indian sandalwood and it radiates pure class all day.

I've had blue de chanel on the shelf for a couple of yrs now and it smells like straight alcohol now😭...its legit chanel too...i think its meant to be used in a certain amount of time.
That happened to a bottle of Dior Eau savage parfum I had went bad after 4 years . Perfumania told me edts last around 4 years and parfum last around 6 before the top notes start dropping off . That’s why I don’t get collecting fragrances where they have 100s of bottles at some point they will all go bad . I only keep 3 to 4 at a time now

That’s why I don’t get collecting fragrances where they have 100s of bottles at some point they will all go bad . I only keep 3 to 4 at a time now
