Thé Matcha 26 is the only one I own and the only one I like oddly enough. On me it’s more than a skin scent. Definitely creates a personal scent bubble that puts me into a meditation mode, which I find really comforting. Every time I wear it and give someone a hug, I always get an immediate “mmmm you smell so good” and they ask what scent I’m wearing.
Gosh I agree with you hands down, Bergamote 22 truly is their best creation to me. It’s such a vibrant euphoric scent, could not go without it in the summer! Thé Noir 29 is my second favourite from them, amazing. But nothing beats Bergamote 22 for me!
Santal 33 were dupe to death and seems like everybody is wearing it especially in big cities. But I really appreciate this creation and remember the day I first tried it. I still found myself reaching for it and love it especially if I want to feel grounded and still smelling good.
Guys! I own Another 13 and Santal 33. I know Santal is the most popular but come on! It’s a iconic fragrance. I dare to say that it is a historic fragrance. It’s not that because it is popular that I will stop loving it. I’m sorry! One day I will own Gaiac 10, Oud 27, Rose 31, Vetiver 46, Lys 41, The Noir 29 and Bergamote 22. In my opinion Le Labo is the best! From their branding to their fragrances! ❤
Couldn’t click on this fast enough. Le Labo on two occasions are the only fragrances that has had me hypnotized, searching like a bloodhound for the wearer. Another 13 brought me into this world, and just recently discovered Thé Noir 29 caz some lady had me on a cloud. Also Vanille 44 is incredible. Very beautiful.
I just went to Le Labo in Portland. It was a small space and they did not have the full collection but I did buy Thé Matcha 26, Ylang 49, Tonka 25, Patchouli 24, Labdanum 18 & Vetiver 46. (They are in order of my personal ranking.)
I use Another 13 to layer/strengthen other fragrances. I also use Secretions to layer as well (it makes everything smell sexier). I love The Noir, Rose 31 and Bergamot. I am hunting Ylang and Lys. I appreciate the underlying intellectual aesthetic in this brand. These fragrances make you think even as you stimulate your senses.
Purchased my first Le Labo fragrance “Another 13” in San Diego! It was the first one I sampled and I was hooked. My husband and I both wear it, no more competing scents and finally a scent that lasts all day and night! Thank you for the reviews, can’t wait to visit Le Labo again!
I went to Le Labo because of your older video as I searched Bergamot Perfumes and you raved about B22 from LL… and so I’m sitting at the counter and the gent sprays Ylang 49 and my soul stood up!!! So I’m glad that it’s #6 for you, means i have at least a decent nose and of course B22 made me instantly smile once i smelled it. I will def be back to get it-thanks for always making such great videos 💚💚💚 p.s. i too, CANT STAND Santal 33 and I LOVE THE SMELL OF SANDALWOOD; Santal 33 literally smells dirty to me lol!
I never used to care about Le Labo until I walked by a counter and it smelled lovely. I love bergamote 22 but I fell in love with Lys 41. The white flowers with a touch of vanilla & slighty beach smell just made it feel like me. I know also own Noir 29 & I love its smoky feel. Thanks for the great video Sebastian. 😄
Great list! I’ve sampled many and have owned Rose in the past (let it go due to performance issues). Bergamote is the only one I own currently, and, even though it’s pricey for a citrus, it is completely worth it. Absolute masterpiece. I’ve never smelt a better fresh fragrance. I’d love a bottle of The Noir and possibly mousse de chene or tabac.
I love Vanille 44 so good, also Limette 37 and Cedrat 37 some of my fav cities. And don’t get me started on wearing them together the vanilla and the citrus from either of those mixed is phenomenal. Also, I love Thé Matcha, but it doesn’t last. I would bathe in Thé Matcha if they ever made it into a perfume oil. ❤
Yay, it’s a Le Labo top 20 list! Thanks so much, Sebastian! I wasn’t surprised at all by which one didn’t make the list, but I was a little surprised by your #1 pick, although I do really like the Bergamot 22. I haven’t tried many of the city exclusives, but now I do want to track down the Dallas one, since that’s where I live. From the non-exclusive line, I’d probably put Rose 31 at the top of my list.
Maybe it’s because it’s my first purchase from this house, but Cedrat 37 is incredible. I got it earlier when they opened up purchases of the City Exclusives. I love the bright opening and the musks in the dry down. Really beautiful
THANK YOU Sebastian! I LOVE Baie 19 - magical smell....perhaps in your next videos you can explore or explain why we never get tired of certain notes or what attracts us to certain perfume houses - because Le Labo is unique but I couldn't quiet pinpoint why... LOVE all your reviews
I stayed at a Fairmont Hotel over the holidays. They have Le Labo Rose 31 as their toiletries products. Just gorgeous. I didn’t realize how precious they were until I looked it up to buy some. Gosh, so expensive. I don’t know how people can afford multiple bottles of it. One bottle here in Canada is close to 400$. It makes Tom Ford look like a bargain. Good thing I took them all home! ❤😢😢😢
@@kwekuacquah6006 I haven’t tried it in a while. I remember it seemed ok. Not beast mode. But decent longevity and sillage. It’s a gentle scent. P.S. I ordered the perfume sample from Le Labo. So I’m talking about that. The soaps and creams are not strong. It’s completely suitable for female or male. Oddly enough for a rose scent!
Vanille 44 is REALLY good. Def a personal/skin scent, but it's so delicious. Smooth, slightly creamy, captivating, a bit warm, a little smoky. I don't get much citrus, but it's probably just a balancer. I highly recommend
This was a great house review. I really enjoy Le Labo and yes, the price point is a bit up there for me. The Noire 29, Fleur D'Oranger 27, Lys 41 are amongst my favorites. We don’t have a store in my city, but Chicago is only 2 hrs from me 👍🏽
I have thé matcha and i love the sutbleness it offers. feels like a warm hug. I find that often very subtle perfumes are quite one noted, and find this to still be interesting after a few hours
My hubby and I both LOVE Bergamote 22. Another 13 is another favorite. Love Rose 31 but it pulls weird on me 😫 the soap bar is amazing 🧼🌹. I really enjoy Paris Vanille 44 (but too pricy)🥰
I own two LeLabo scents. Patchouli 24 is one of my favorite scents for the very reason you rank it low. Patchouli and I do not get along, but the birchtar makes it the best Patchouli scent ever for me. My other is the only city exclusive I found worthy. Poivre 23. I have to really like something to pay the ridiculous price. My Patchouli 24 is the first formulation, and there is a story behind it that I promised not to share at the time. The store, whose name starts with a "B", is now closed, so I break my vow. The representative showed me Patchouli 24. The old tester was a lot darker than the new, and he expressed that he was less than pleased that days before the formula and bases were changed. The old bases were supposed to be returned and only to use the new ones. I agreed that the reformulated bottle was not as good. I said I'd like to buy it but was disappointed that I was "a day late and a dollar short." He gave me "that look" and said, "Don't tell anyone," as he started opening the old bases. When he was done measuring, he said, "I accidentally made it a bit stronger, I hope you don't mind." This was a decade ago, and I'm very sure the associate would have been in big trouble. No worries now, and this is the first time I've told this story.
Yes I love le labo, I just got santal 33 and wear it all the time here in ky, not many people know about and heads turn, but I also got a sample of bergamot 22 and wow, this rocks, I will be getting a bottle soon, it stayed on me all day, love it
I smelled the main collection for the first time at the Berkeley shop today -and Bergamot was instantly my number one! 😂 Also loved Another 13, this is without having listened to any reviews. They were -out- of both of those samples👎but I picked up Thé Noir 29, Cedrat 27, Fleur D’oranger 27, Neroli 36 and Thé Matcha. I need that Bergamot though.
Sooooo pleased with these review of Le Labo’s…My Fave Picks🎉❤ Another 13,Bergamote 22 And Santal 33 in that order..And the City Exclusive Mousse de chene, Musc 25 and Poivre 23🎉❤ in that Order
I agree with most of your choices, although Gaiac 10 and Tabac 28 should be at least top 5. I have an all but unused 100ml bottle of Bergamot 22 that I wish I never bought. I don’t like smelling like Orange Juice.
Your ranking is pretty spot on because my personal top 3 picks are The Noir 29, Benjoin 19 (also love Musc 25 but prefer Benjoin 19 more!) and Aldehyde 44 :) I do own the samples for The Noir 29, Gaiac 10 and Matcha 26 (would love to see how this compares with Matcha Meditation which is my fave from Maison Margiela Replica alongside Lazy Sunday Morning), and will definitely look into owning a full bottle of The Noir 29 and Benjoin 19 next year.
My first Le Labo scent that I ever picked from the house was Bergamot 22 so that my was my first love of the house, but Another 13 has taken over 😅and I’ve refilled it.
I've owned Santal 33 for about 5 years I live in New York City but I still don't see where the hype is at...I hardly wear it... I did refill it once before...🤷🏻♂️
After reaching the 2nd place, i said where did bergamot 22 go ,because i know you like it , I think i am buying it this summer Thank you for the video!
No1 Another 13, No2 Thé Matcha 26 right now for me, as I am going through a clean scent phase. I gave Thé Noir to my Dad as I think it’s lovely but strong so better on him, and Lys 41 to my mum as the Lilly scent will be lovely on her. I am now interested in the Dallas scent you show Aldehyde 44 and Baie.
Awesome review! I love Gaiac 10, Baie 26 and Poivre on occasion. I recently had Gaiac refilled, which is the first time post EL acquisition and it definitely smells off. I don’t know if it was the person refilling it or part of the reformulation or both. It smells more like Santal, which I cannot stand. Anyway, have you tried Poivre yet?
Amazing video! I haven't tried many of them but I really love Labdanum 18. I am a huge powder and Maurice Roucel fan. The only bottle I ever had from Le Labo was Fleur d'Oranger. It was a juicy and thirst quenching kind of fragrance.
My husband loves the matcha 26, sorry it ranked so low on your list😂 he recently started wearing another 13, and omg, every time he wears it I wouldn’t be able to stop smelling him and telling him how good he smells! Wish the price of the city exclusives could be lower though, really would want to try the vanille one but it’s too expensive that I don’t dare to try it, in case I’d want a bottle😂
I keep buying the little samples of bergamot 22 and another 13 cause I don’t want to sprint for a full bottle but I’m starting to just say screw it and I’m gonna buy both
I love Le Labo Rose which is one of the few rose scents that I like because the rose in not animalic (especially when combined with oud or patchouly). My favorite is one you didn't mention which is D'Oranger. I'm Cuban and grew up in South Florida so oranges are like heaven. I also have Another 13 which is great but I find Santa bland and boring. Your list makes me look forward to sampling others. Thanks
My favorites are Labdanum, Matcha, The noir and Bergamotte. Can't bring myself to purchase full bottles at the price points as something is always a bit lacking on my skin. The noir, the fig is overbearing, matcha has not good enough longevity, labdanum i looove but is a scent I d wear only ocassionally. Bergamotte is stunning though
I need to revisit Le Labo, I got samples years ago before Santal33 stated popping off and I wasn't very impressed. I have since picked up Another13 and I would like to try again to see how my tastes have changed. It must've been 10 years by now.
Limette reminds me of Ylang. To me, I get a classic chypre accord with the fragrance as well. I find Jasmin 17 interesting because it smells like a sweet snack.
I believe these fragrances have to be tried on skin and they seem to radiate from within. That is probably due to the high oil content. I love Another 13, Tonka 25 and Matcha 26. 😊
There’s a Le Labo a block away from me in the Arts District of Downtown LA. I also fell in love with Bergamote (The Noir is also amazing) but that price tag is a hard one to swallow 😅

What is the expiration date on the bergamot???

I have the same experience!! Or I use it when I feel so stress!
Late to the party, but I agree. This is one I really like too
Same, definitely one of my favorites
Ooh finally a Le Labo house overview. Thanks Sebastian.
Hope you like it!
@@ThePerfumeGuy santal 33 😞🤥
I smelled Sandel 33 the other day and was blown away!! I'll be getting it for sure.
Another 13 is forever my number 1 in my collection. When I wear it people go WILD!!! It gets me more compliments than anything else.
I can't ever smell anything when I spray Another 13 😭 I so want to like it but get absolutely nothing!
I went to try it today and couldn't smell it either!
If a guy wears it will people go wild too
It smelled great on paper but it’s so sour and stinky on my skin! :(
to anyone that says they can’t smell it, instead of spraying in your skin, try spraying in your clothes instead
Gosh I agree with you hands down, Bergamote 22 truly is their best creation to me. It’s such a vibrant euphoric scent, could not go without it in the summer! Thé Noir 29 is my second favourite from them, amazing. But nothing beats Bergamote 22 for me!

Oh those two are some of the best of the brand.
Matcha 26 is my favourite Le Labo fragrance. And it doesn't need "to go" anywhere. 😁
I own Gaiac 10 and Santal 33 and I enjoy them, but my favourite one is Poivre 23. Thanks for the video!
Yes! London city exclusive is very 👍🏼
I wear bergamot 22 with creed original vetiver and the combo works really well together
I really enjoy THÉ NOIR 29. I love tea fragrances in general.
I agree, great scent.
I just went to Le Labo in Portland. It was a small space and they did not have the full collection but I did buy Thé Matcha 26, Ylang 49, Tonka 25, Patchouli 24, Labdanum 18 & Vetiver 46. (They are in order of my personal ranking.)
Santal 33 smell weird to me, like inner tube tyre in the first 30 mins. But after 2hr.. I was like wow 🤩 . No wonder this perfume is hype.
Santal 33 is the best in my whole perfume collection. Literally, I cannot leave without it.

I like those. I need to smell the bergamot
My favorite is Vertiver 46 perfume oil. We have Le Labo shops in Hong Kong 😍. And, Bigarade 18 Hong Kong is city exclusive. Launched in 2022.

I agree with most of your choices, although Gaiac 10 and Tabac 28 should be at least top 5. I have an all but unused 100ml bottle of Bergamot 22 that I wish I never bought. I don’t like smelling like Orange Juice.
One of my favorite houses! It just has a fragrance for everyone!
Great video! Mousse de Chene 30 (Amsterdam City Exclusive) is by far my favourite.

My favorite City Exclusive is Amsterdam. I am hooked ❤️❤️❤️
Mousse De Chene?
Bergamot 22 is my number 1 too. second place is The Noir 29. Those are the only 2 Le Labo I like so far
Thé Noir, Gaiac 10 and Bergamote 22 are my favourites, love all three!

The Noir 29 and Another 13 are my favorite! You should try Cedrat 37 the Berlin city exclusive...
I don't care for that Patchouli 24. Tried it a few times as I love the patchouli fragrance note, but it just doesn't smell good to my nose.
Tabac 28 which is the Miami exclusive and Cedrat 37 the Berlin exclusive are my two favs from the. The Tabac is so addicting.
I just bought Bergamot 22 and love it x
I need to revisit Le Labo, I got samples years ago before Santal33 stated popping off and I wasn't very impressed. I have since picked up Another13 and I would like to try again to see how my tastes have changed. It must've been 10 years by now.
Limette reminds me of Ylang. To me, I get a classic chypre accord with the fragrance as well. I find Jasmin 17 interesting because it smells like a sweet snack.
Vetiver, the noir and benjoin are my faves
Cant wait to see what you think of Vanilla 44
Love my Labdanum & Noir 29 ; Baie is growing on me . Stani
LOL. It changes but not my all time favorite. My mood was at 19 when I shot it.
Awesome man
Thanks Sebastian!
This was pretty comprehensive. I think the prices are a little high for what you get with this brand.

I knew bergamote would be #1 it’s so beautiful.
I believe these fragrances have to be tried on skin and they seem to radiate from within. That is probably due to the high oil content. I love Another 13, Tonka 25 and Matcha 26. 😊
For me: Santal 33 - the Noir 29 - another 13 but i have not smelled all so maybe i will find another favorite
There’s a Le Labo a block away from me in the Arts District of Downtown LA. I also fell in love with Bergamote (The Noir is also amazing) but that price tag is a hard one to swallow 😅
Great video btw Sebastian.
