as a lifelong GB Packers fan, I am humbled that your local Bills Backer group in Richmond Virginia has chosen my family to raise money to help our son and his battle with brain cancer.
It is humbling to me to see the love given to us by a group that doesn’t have to get involved with a Packer fan, or complete stranger, but they did.
This Sunday night game when the Bills will play Green Bay is when they are gifting us with whatever it is they are doing. We are honored to just be there amongst a sea of red/white/blue while we wear our green/yellow jerseys….
Bills fans are like GB fans, hard working, blue collar folks that want to help each other out,
God Bless you Bills fans and I hope to see you guys get that first Super Bowl ring!

Even with the national attention, notoriety and buzz, I don't think, even other sports fans, realize what this team means to the city of Buffalo. I grew up in the early 90s when the team was plastered all over the streets. Flags, banners, jerseys bumper stickers etc..were everywhere. For 20 plus years it's been barren with few and far in between until now. The streets are flooded with kids imitating Allen and Co. and it's even bringing a tear to my eye as I type this because it's been so long. If the Bills win it all, no WHEN they win it all, it's going to be something like you've never seen before.
There are no fans for any team in any sport that has love for there team then Bills Mafia, we sold out games week after week year after year, through the worst team for years and the coldest wintery weather. And who was there the whole time, Bills Mafia and fans from all around. This is our year for the Lombardi Trophy

Been a bills fan for 30 years. Even though we have never won an SB I feel lucky to have grew up in Western NY and had them as my team growing up. Win or Lose it’s the best community of all the teams I root for

@@nycat1485 What always hurt the most for me wasn’t the last three losses it was the first against the Giants. Only because the BILLS WERE the better team but still lost and the fashion in which they loss couldn’t have been worse. The other years I believe they actually were the second best team…but that first one was crushing and then they never made up for it uugghh

I was part of the Bills Backers in Arizona and worked with Teds Hotdogs', Spiro the owner, to distribute our Bills Backers newsletter in his restaurant on Broadway. We had Buffalo people all the time, from California, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, etc coming in for TEDS Buffalo charbroiled hot dogs and they loved the Bills info in the newsletter. We are all over the our Country and all over the World. GO BILLS!.
I visited that restaurant in the 90s when I went to Phoenix to see my aunt and uncle who are from Buffalo.

Bills fan since 1966 went to many games at the old Rockpile ....so close with Jim Kelly and co they were great teams but this one is special with Josh Allen and barring injuries this is our year

Same here. I'm a chiefs fan but have always had a place in my heart for Buffalo. Growing up in Cleveland you can appreciate and understand what a rust belt city in the Great Lakes region is all about.
They might manage it this year. All the Chiefs-Bills games so far have been played in Arrowhead. But if the Bills keep up the pace they're on, they might well secure the #1 seed.
And if they do that, and the Chiefs keep up the pace YOU'RE on... then you might have to go to their house this year.

I was born in 86 so I can recall those years. My parents weren't sports fans but we always went to parties for the Super Bowl. I didn't understand what it meant back then, but if the Bills win the SB this season, Buffalo is gonna be flooded for the parade. It would put the Eagles parade to shame.. and I've lived in Philly. Those are sports fans, sure. But Bills fans will come from around the entire nation for the event haha

I will not say that I am an old Bills fan but I remember when Tommy O'Connell was our QB.
I grew up in Texas throughout my childhood and when I moved to Buffalo in 89 I immediately became a bills fan and stuck with them since. I moved back down to Texas in 92 and was there through both losses to the cowboys and I was picked on by my classmates and friends. Now after years later I’m back in western ny and every time I post a pic of me being at the Bills game those same classmates and friends who use to pick on me reply saying Dude you are loyal and have been loyal throughout the years both good times and bad times with that team. I applaud 👏 and respect you for it and I love that organization you guys are loyal and passionate.

I'm a Bills fan now, but just wish back in the day they weren't so nasty and mean to other team's fans. It's the only fans that ever threw food at me (hot dog) for wearing a Bears jersey and just all around nasty with cat calling. They havent even won a superbowl! Thats the only aspect i despise about Bills fans! Do better! I know I'd never act like those fans did back in the day!

As a life long Buffaloian I can shed some different kind of light upon the name "Bills Mafia". First, back in the day the real "Mafia" held sway in this town. It wasn't a laughing matter nor to be taken lightly. Older residence know just how deep into our city this ran. The youth know little to nothing about the mafia nor of any connection to this city. I love Bills fans but take issue with the term Mafia same as some may take issue with say Chicago fans being called "Crips" (As in the infamous street gang whose crimes are many). I am not a P.C. person (far from it) but glorifying a World wide criminal organization when there are some many great names to make this city and their team proud... I just don't see it. Sadly I expect much hate from this post (I do hope I am wrong).

Steelers home games are always inexplicably not close to sold out and it's been noticeable for years. I went to the 2016 immaculate reception game which was a defacto division title game and the upper deck was about 60% full lol. I've been to a meaningless Colts Texans game that was almost just as full
