You are not wrong about JA17 and I hope he never has to play behind a crap line again; I could write a novel, but the short of it is he's just now getting to the number of hours of quality coaching that most such freak-talented players have leaving high school and he's still got plenty of upside as he continues to fill his memory and refine his technique. Longer arguments for fitment of Allen's character and persona in Buffalo vs Cleveland or New Jersey and the health of the respective franchises, support for his development, and on and on and on

It's so funny. I married a Bills fan, but had never watched football before we started dating. I'm still not a fan like he's a fan, but let's just say even our dog has his own touchdown dance. Every game day for the last 20 years has been an event! When they say everything is closed for the games, I believe it. A few years back, our 9yo daughter was all upset... because her birthday (in two months) was on a Sunday. "But they're playing the Patriots, so at least I'll get to watch Tom Brady cry..." I was kind of shocked she knew the schedule, because I sure don't. She's like, "oh yeah, we memorize that over summer." 😶😶😶

I’m not even a bills fan, but Josh Allen and bills mafia deserve to win a championship. Bills Fans are the best fans in the NFL and packers coming in a hot second any team that can show up in those freezing 🥶 temperatures every season in not have a super bowl win are great fans. Btw the Craziest fans are the eagles by far with the raiders coming in a hot second place.

Please. Bills fans show up when the team is good amd go overboard. During their 20 year playoff absence the attendance was so bad they had to play games in Canada and the team almost moved. They got lucky they got an owner who didn't want to move the team. Every team has a truly loyal base that expands by bandwagon jumpers when they are good. Example the Pat's. I've found a small percentage of fans that know anything about the team pre Brady years

Most of my friends are dead, because I graduated high school at the height of the (latest) opioid epidemic (class of '07!). Buffalo isn't Chicago or Detroit, but it's still the wild west. And we finally got a goddamn gunslinger of a qb to take us to the promised land. This city needs a trophy, and Josh Allen is the man who will make it happen.

@@topleftfromtime Thank you. But don't feel too sorry for me and mine. The opiod crisis wasn't great, but it was better than growing up in the Congo or Iraq. My friends died via ods, automotive accidents, suicides, and occasionally via violence. None of us ever had our hands chopped off, or had our block party murked by a hellfire missle, or died of malnutrition or cholera. Honestly, what sucks the most, is that I went through the hassle of kicking, because my best friend convinced me to do it with him. It took two years of suffering before the withdrawals abated enough for me to start feeling like a human being again. By year four, I stopped paying attention, and I've never looked back. But my friend didn't make it. I went through all that crap, just for him to leave me hanging (pun intended).

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think it’s a bad thing that you don’t wanna dwell. I think it’s noble that you acknowledge terrible things happen elsewhere to other people … but it shouldn’t be used to diminish the shit you’ve been through.
If someone said 3 of their best friends were killed in a drone strike or something, I could empathize with you for how you’ve lost your friends while simultaneously empathizing with them for how they lost theirs.
It doesn’t have to be a competition my boy. Losing loved ones fucking sucks regardless of how you lost ‘em.
I know some recovering addicts who feel like they deserve bad things to happen in their life. & that’s not fair nor is it true.
I’m sorry about your friends my man, I really am. But I’m so proud of you for kicking that shit brother. To say “I know it’s not easy” would be one of the biggest understatements in the history of understatements. Most people aren’t able to do it, but *YOU* did. & you *deserve* to be praised & celebrated for doing so.

Besides that fact that it DID sell out last season - it's literally January in Buffalo when the playoffs hit; it's a hard ask to sell out an open roof stadium when the 20MPH+ winds are ripping your face apart in 0 degree weather. We can't all be in Florida or Texas.
