Did you use self tapping screws to attach the board to the boat or what? I can't use a bolt because I have a sit on kayak and I can't screw a nut onto the back of the bolt.

Yea, I used self tapping screw and added a little dab of silicone

I screwed a board to the kayak and then bolted a stadium seat to the board.
