Inspired by watching boring Transformers action figure reviews, the ShartimusPrime youtube channel was launched in 2008. Engaging the audience with an edgy sense of humor for adult collectors, action figure collecting has never been this fun, and videos are posted daily! Unexpectedly, the channel became more popular for Marvel Legends reviews and Spider-Man, Avengers, and X-Men collection display videos. After a few years, the channel has branched out to review other figure properties aside from Marvel Legends and G1 Transformers Masterpiece. Hot Toys, Star Wars, Diamond Select Toys, DC Collectibles, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dragon Ball Z, Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evil Dead, and The Walking Dead toy lines have all been added to the roster of nearly 2,000 video reviews. Japanese import figures from SH Figuarts, Bandai, Figma, Square Enix, and Medicom MAFEX have been favorites as well. More recently, Kotobukiya Statues (including the very sexy Bishoujo line) and NECA Toys have become more prevalent on the channel. Being a big fan of movies such as Spider-Man, Batman, X-Men, Iron Man, Captain America, The Avengers, Evil Dead, Pacific Rim, Aliens, and other films has lead the channel in the direction of also reviewing movies, movie trailers, blu ray releases, and tv shows. News updates for 2016 releases and beyond are also posted. Audience engagement is a big part of this channel, with giveaways and fan mail being read publicly once a week in the PO Box Pick-Up videos. Impressive “Shart-Art” is shared via social media and included in the opening theme song. The audience is also kept up to date with any changes to the channel, along with recent comic book pick-ups, unboxings, and action figure hauls. Stop-motion segments punishing the popular meme of the Big Time Let Down Spider-Man close most of the comparison segments, and are compiled together for guaranteed access to patrons. Lastly, all figure reviews close with a slideshow featuring dynamic poses of the figure inspired by ACBA, with the added bonus of music performed and recorded by ShartimusPrime himself.

It’s more of 40 bucks
I feel like the original masterpiece is a better toy, while the new is a more g1 accurate at the cost of problems. The original alt mode is more streamlined, (it looks like a model car) the robot is cleaner and doesn't have kibble everywhere, and the transformation is one of my favorites in all of transformers. Plus its anywhere from half to a third of the price.
This MP 45 Bee is so highly accurate comparing to the G1 cartoon!
The problem with getting Spike into Bumblebee is he has to be in a perfect seating position with his heels in the groove of Bumblebee's leg. You can't just throw em in there lol.
To me they are definetely art and you are one of the people who made me see this interest of mine as a definite hobby
when MP can be bought from Wal-Mart and TRU below $100, miss those days..

I’m not hating on the masterpiece line I just don’t like the price point because you are literally paying $100+ for a 40-50 dollar figure but hey it’s worth it to the beholder not me, but anyway good job on the video I enjoy watching them you got me into transformers
While I love the aesthetic of the robot mode (minus the feet which are terrible) I just can't justify twice as much money for a smaller, twice as fiddly, and more fragile version that constantly looks like it is on the verge of falling apart. I feel like there had to be a happy medium between the two releases for a cartoon accurate Bee. I feel like the Masterpiece line has started to go off the rails. The price points and over engineering is starting to make my interest wane. Especially with all the multiple passes on the same characters. Given how amazing the regular generations line has gotten, that is where most of my money is going now.

The car mod seems fickle and not being able easily to insert Witwicky inside is a bummer. The back pack and the feet are ugly, the waist twist is very limited and it has no ab crunch, for the price point we should have gotten way better. I subjectively like it but I don't think it's a very good transforming figure, it should have been way cheaper, seems like Takara just wanted to justify MP-44's price. I studied arts and there is no doubt in my mind that action figures are an art form.

Great review! Definitely not worth the price tag... at best (to be merciful) $35 bucks. I built the Flame Toys Model Kit and it blows this away (minus transformation) I'll skip this one.
