"Passionate," yes...though I would probably have used a different word, such as "obsessed." I am visualizing his home as an endless shrimp-themed fun house, as he sits on a giant shrimp-shaped couch listing off shrimp meals (or shrimp species) like Bubba on "Forrest Gump" while playing with shrimp stuffed animals and toys.
But he says "shrimps" instead of "shrimp"; can't trust him.

I was able to bypass the face finding/normalizing part. I manually normalized faces by cropping/rescaling face images at 256x256. Laughing at our dog transformed into a human is worth the few extra seconds spent cropping and scaling.
Under "e4e completion," change line:

Okay, here are some facts:
The 90's Tv series about Witcher was later changed into a movie by selecting "best" scenes and editing them together, and the movie is to this day consider a one big failure in Poland (I know that because I come from there), and the guy playing Geralt in this serie is called Michał Żebrowski (Mihal Zebrovski) and he also dubbed Geralt in the video game and also Johnny Silverhand in the polish version.
also the witcher was a book at first

The difference in Alyx Vance’s in-game face versus the “real” face goes to show how far ahead of their time Valve was with facial animation fifteen years ago.
Definitely, HL2 was incredible! I recently started replaying it with my dad (he controls the mouse and I control the keyboard- fun way to play 1 player fps games with 2 ppl). It never ceases to amaze me, the complexities that the game has- story, characters, graphics, etc.
I have fond memories of playing through HL2 when the Orange Box came out and being blown away by all this too. HL2 was almost four years old at that point and it still looked better than games that had just come out! Great stuff.

@@NicCrimson Haha yeah, who was the other person in your case? It can work if the person using the mouse is a decent aimer, and you can communicate well with them about where to go next. It worked with my dad for some parts, but when it got to certain tougher parts, I would take over lol. (Btw, we are up to the water hazard chapter). It's a good experience though, he really likes the game/story, etc., and doesn't mind the times where I have to completely take over, because he's excited to see what happens next in the game. He likes sci fi movies/games, so yeah- fun stuff! We also will be replaying Halo 1 and 2 co-op mode, he's a big fan of those too!

Just re-watched this episode, but with my 6 year old son...and we had a blast recreating some of his favorite characters from shows. It's definitely a patience game waiting for it to work, though.

@@MBrulla i got the steps but now the pictures are coming out weird. the picture that it shows i inputted is very zoomed in and black and white and very distorted. idk what the problem is. it might be because i had to change a version of one of the programs in it for it to run but idk. is it still working for you?

He was originally intended to be a master Sith which is why he does all these fancy martial arts moves, etc, but the viewers did not realize what was going on and so after the movie's release George Lucas succumbed to pressure and changed the script for the following movie which should have revealed Jar Jar as the mastermind behind the rise of Palpatine.
Remember how Jar Jar waved his hands and hypnotized the entire senate in granting Palpatine directorial powers? Only a Sith could do that.

Artistic movements go back and forth between depicting realistic features and idealized representations of the subject. That means there’s a few slices of history where it could work realistically well and others where it wouldn’t be super accurate. It would be interesting to work on that though, I agree.

AI is just binary interpritations. It won't be able to create accurate renders of art where features are subjective to the craftsmanship. And the more accurate the features of a statue is, well, the less need there would for an AI

For anyone having issues getting this to work...Test it with a real image of a person. I had a lot of issues that I thought were in the code. After poking around, it turned out, it wasn't detecting a face but the error I was getting was not clear. So TL;DR, just test it with a real face. Then go find other faces and mess around. If it breaks, you know its too non-human to get an AI face from it. Cheers!

Theory: it gives outputs feminine features because only women in its sample data were wearing makeup, and makeup can be applied in a wide range of ways, and create variations in the image that are hard for it to explain otherwise. So whenever it is confused about the input image, it associates that uncertainty with makeup and with the person being a woman.
Maybe adding ultraviolet and infrared channels to the training data would give more information about things like makeup and sunscreen, and give a face generating AI a better understanding of human faces and what it's supposed to be doing.

Welp, the AI on Drive didn't work for me, kept giving me an "error code" that the name "net" wasn't defined... But my file's name wasn't even close to something with "net", which makes me think that something is broken within the code itself.

I ran out of RAM when trying to to the StyleCLIP setup. I found that I needed to do both setups before processing an image, or else it runs out of RAM. I don't know how to clear the RAM without having to restart the whole thing though.
Make a game show out of this with buzzers and stuff, that would be hilarious.
Definitely would like to see a couple more of these, obviously once the horse dies don't keep beating it but I think I speak for all of us we would like a couple more of these.

actually that witcher series, was made in Poland in 2002. Had a really low budget. It's pretty climatic, had some flavor.
The book was actually written by a Polish author too - Sapkowski. The actor who played Geralt is actually pretty good, pity the movie had an insufficient budget :-(
