When you realize Niko has had the same haircut since he was a baby.
I realized watching this I've had the same haircut since I was 9.
When you have wavy curls like that it’s hard to get your hair to look like anything else
If it ain't broke, don't fix it ☝🏻
jajajaja
he's also always had the same hairline too it seems. I assumed before that it receded as he got older.
"That was the first boat I stole" 😂😂
What, lol.
Holy crap I watch your vids too!
hol up
"First" boat
Doin your mom
Doin doin your mom
"don't do drugs, kids" isn't going to cut it anymore. From now on every kid needs a meth faced version of their yearbook photos
That would actually be very effective.
Never!
Fax
Not to turn this morbid or due to the age of technology but these would actually be useful for missing persons.
Yes
they’ve been using these for missing people for years
@@speepo exactly what I was about to say. Almost every missing persons photos I've seen have "age ups".
Yeah they do use these for missing people like "what they might look like" photos
^ this
Michael Cera playing Wren in a corridor movie would be perfect casting
lmao
I think about that in every single video
Ewan McGregor as Niko would fit too
Seth Rogen as Sam
LMAO
“Face on meth.”
“More meth!”
“That’s it!”
I’m dyinggg 😂
That was the most funny part.
Looks like auzie comedian frenchy
Meth Wren was shaggy from the live action lmao
You guys should have taken adult pics and made it into childhood pictures.
Yeah
I'm ashamed to say that my mind went to a totally different direction when you say "adult pics" 😂😂😂
@@bleukreuz there are no accidents
It’s weird to think that the cameras used to capture the data that trained the AI are affecting the final image. Like, I think the meth images are from mugshots, so the focal length of the camera kinda flattens out the faces, accentuating the ears.
Yeah and also cool to think that to be spot on with the aging it would have to do some predictions as well. Like what features seem more prominent and would accentuate as they age. Like the baby teeth.
I would be disturbed if a dataset like that was easily available elsewhere
Baby Niko looks like a cherub from those classical paintings
Just with clothes on and no wings 👼
It’s the curly hair
yeah like the one from the van halen cover album.
@@MoonWalkerTexsRanger Yes, kinda like the Van Halen 1984 album cover... sans the cow lick 'do and the cigarettes.
Yo you guys are like professional VFX artists, but I’m wondering how well you’d do at practical effects? I think it would be interesting to see you do something outside of your expertise, maybe see if your experience with digital effects helps with designing practical stuff
Ooo yah. Good idea.
Yeah they could try some famous practical hollywood technic, like the perspective trick from Lords of The Rings for exemple.
They'd do good
They should do this!
dam yall really started watching from VFX artists react huh? hahaaa
On the Nerd Matt photo, it actually drew in the minifying effect you get from near-sighted glasses. Insane.
Therapist: “Shrimp Nick doesn’t exist.”
Shrimp Nick: 7:44
And then 12:21 comes around 😳
Shrick
im not gonna lie shrimp nick looks a lot like l4d nick with a haircut 😳
5:22 Sam looks like the type of kid to say he has a protective forcefield when you just clearly shot him with your finger gun
made me lol
"That was the first boat I stole". Pure genius.
This is super exciting for an AI geek like me. The math used for these models is actually pretty simple, it's just a lot of computation, a lot of the real hard parts is optimizing the training time.
Didn’t expect to see a 13 minute showing of M Night Shyamalan’s “Old” today
I like that "Nerd Matt" was just Matt with glasses. Basically saying Matt is already a nerd and the AI didn't know how else to make him look more nerdy so it just threw on glasses. Haha.
Probably a limitation of the dataset. "Nerds" stereotypically have thick glasses, but they're otherwise quite varied in depiction (particularly in Hollywood, where every "nerdy" character is just a good-looking person they've thrown glasses on). So when the AI has to figure out what making a nerd version of someone looks like, the addition of thick glasses is the only thing it can identify as a feature specific to "nerds."
@@noesunyoutuber7680 Doesn't take AI to identify this nerd 🚨
The Clark Kent version of Matt.

Sneaky thumbnail change, boys.
I saw that too
I think they do that a lot. I swear they change their video titles all the time
Probably didnt perform as well.. and seeing as were all here watching it late i guess theyre right
Avoided the video with the old thumbnail, that old niko thumbnail was terrifying lol, glad you changed it! Great vid as always crew
This is beyond Nightmare fuel. This is Nightmare green sustainable energy.
😂
Underrated
Everybody Asking what the future Wren would look like
When you had his future self Help Prepping Niko Doing stunts a week ago
Fax no printer
But nobody asking how the future Wren is doing
You have my support! Keep it up as you guy's inspire you CG artists like myself.
Thanks... this video brought me joy!
Why does Wren's picture on more meth make him look like Tony Hawk?
Edit: And just to add on, Methed-out Niko looks somewhat like Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers.
You sure that's Tony Hawk? I mean, he's not holding a skateboard, so... guess we'll never know~
Tony meth
We needed more meth! That was the best keyword.
skateboarding's a hell of a drug
yes i was thinking the same thing XD
Meth Wren looks like his name would be Cleatus
The slack jawed yokel!
“That’s wren for sure with a little bit of Linus” JEZUS I HVENT LAUGHED THAT MUCH IN A WHILE
When I was a kid I used to see a lot of missing children ads in the mail. Idk if they're still doing that. But I was always interested in the "here's how they might look like now" pictures. I'm pretty sure they were all done by people and not AI. But the amount of detail they put into those was always interesting to me. This video suddenly reminded me of that. RIP to all the missing children that were never found
Niko looked like an angel when he was little omg
the un-capitalised "i" in the title hurts me spiritually and physically.
i don't see anything Wrong with It.
Ah, God damn it! I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out! 😩😆
MAN I HATE YOU
Apple disliked that.
@@Tramwithacam it's an acronym, it's supposed to be all caps
10:53 Matt looks like Jacksepticeye.
They should try using pictures of young Ian McKellen, that way they can get an accurate end goal in mind.
These AI renders are basically just variants from the Loki show on Diseney +
Why did Sam know that Fisherman was the buzzword to make it look more like him????? I wish I knew my facial buzzword
Sam has an intuitive understanding of keywords, can't be explained.
Sam Fisher
imagine your coworker just walks in and says "I want everybody here to give me pictures of yourselves as kids"
I was like " They made another vide-- oh wait they only changed the thumbnail.". Tbh, the first thumbnail is eye catching but unsettling at the same time.!
3:02 its insane how subtle the change is but its big enough to look completely different.
This is awesome...especially Jordan's long lost bro and Wren's Meth
Is it possible to add photos of your parents and grandparents to the data set and have the AI use them as more heavy influences. Would you get it to be more accurate?
That would be so cool!
This was my absolute fave CC video!
It's amazing how stuff like this is possible. Definitely gonna mess around with this, it looks so fun
Meth Niko looks like if the wrestler Edge got badly injured early in his career and and developed a major drug problem.
Y'all really have some of the coolest content on RUclips.
Getting an advanced AI system and messing around and having a good laugh with your mates.... Great work.. Thanks for sharing awesome video :)
Had a good laugh after a long time - Thank You Corridor Crew ❤️
4:50 This one is actually the most accurate, even though the hair color is off and he doesn't have a beard they still both look incredibly similar
They look like they could be brothers
I wish everyone handled adds and subs the way you guys do… it’s not unnoticed, it’s so nice to just be asked instead of told.
Brilliant episode 👏👏👍
You guys should breakdown the best special effects in music videos, i always wanted to see the breakdown of a-ha's take on me music video because it looks so cool for the time it was made
Honestly looks like you’re just having a cutest kid picture contest.
We need another video of this!
They won’t see this. Too busy with their current stuff plus we are buried
12:28 Shrimp Nick reminds me of some very early software where if you ran an image through, took the result, ran that through, etc. You'd get nightmare filter.
This is perfect for making DnD character portraits!
First thing that came to mind was those aging renditions they do with missing people. So I would love to see this AI do the same, as in aging by only a couple of years and see how it manages that.
I thought they were going to say “There is no sponsor on today’s video because we mentioned meth 20xs” 😂😂😂
so next AI dungeon video will be fun.
Love style transfer and it will only get better. Latent space is deep.
11:19 : he looks like a worst version of Shaggy in the Scooby doo movie
I think you should do a follow up where makeup artists try to practically get you to look like what the AI predicted.
Thanks for this video, i nearly forgot how great the movie Idiocracy was. Seems its ageless
Another great video
Nico and Wren look exactly the same as when they were children.
Also, Wren looked like Link.
i love when niko wears his crank high voltage shirt
I'm greek and I'm crying with the ''more greek'' part! :)
12:41 And that's the whole point of AI and technology.
It's an aid to help artists do their jobs better, more efficiently and faster. Especially in generating ideas or providing drafts to work off of, or to iterate from.
I literally could not stop laughing at these, one of my favorites from Corridor Crew.
So those missing child posters with the what they might look like now images are probably WAY off.
Should've added more meth to the instructions
if the police had a _super recogniser_ for creating the adult version. It should fit pretty closely
I think if you trained it specifically on child -> adult data it would yield better results than this
@@pc_screen5478 Absolutely. AI delivers the best results when it's fed very specific data and used for very specific things. That's why well-done Deepfakes like they've done are so good, the model has an incredibly exact target and expects an incredibly large dataset for that very specific target. Large amounts of data for very small changes = best results.
For your Son of a Dungeon you should look at a UK kids game show from the the late 80s to early 90s called Knightmare. It is a D&D-esque show and it uses live action actors and props on a green screen using CGI backgrounds and creatures. RUclips made a version of the show for their Geek Week a few years back.
Netflix just dropped Dynasty Warriors, crazy cgi, ridiculous stunts. Definitely worth a look. Love your guys work.
WREN with a little bit of Linus, is cracking me up..... that's hilarious
1:18 The "Latent Space" face of Niko looks like William Osman.
This is pretty cool. If you can nail down the aging look it would be great for missing kids, especially if you don't have to add that many years. Could also work for wanted suspects if it could create faces just using descriptions, or even get an artist to render something and have the AI refine it. Cool tech.
Subscribed for the cool AI stuff!
The Greek face looks like some guy I saw in town. He looks like a George from Thessaloniki or Crete
Everyone and their mom (and Gui) is now posting fancy AI portraits of themselves on Instagram… but they all neglected to include the far more entertaining and less vanity serving heavy meth use renditions. Thanks for being ahead of the game and doing AI portraits right a year before everyone else. 🤟🏼
Ok, so, there is this one book called "All Tomorrows" by Nemo Ramjet. In the book Nemo talks about how humanity "evolved" over the future billion years (the book was written in 2006). The artwork in the book is AMAZING just like the lore and the idea itself, but why i'm writing this right now is the artwork. All of the creatures from the book are really interesting and described in detail, followed by an image and sadly there is no movie, thus I propose an idea: if you'd like to, try and remake the creatures in 3D. Hope i get to see the vid! keep up the amazing work!
1:20 was soooo trippy dude

It's particularly amusing to me that as vfx artists, I'm sure they're seeing massive amounts of funny details that my non-artist eye doesn't catch 😅
NOW THIS IS CONTENT
I love all the work you guys do I'm getting into trying to make my own videos with effects and then and using green screens and chroma key I'm using apps and a phone to do it so when I see the work you guys have into it I love it it's awesome good work guys keep the uploads coming as you can tell by your subscribers and viewers we all love them.
I prefer the old thumbnail with the absolutely cracked out niko face
Thank god they changed that thumbnail
This reminds me of Artbreeder, and i'd love to see the Crew have a poke at that.
Can y’all look at labyrinth? Specifically the scene where Jennifer Connelly walks through the wall at the beginning after talking to the worm? I’ve always wondered how they did that.
one time I had to model CG characters and I went with a rough baseline out of FaceGen.
it outputs _old age_ targets, but not _young age_ targets..... so, when it came to rejuvenating one of my actors to make it look like a teenager, I just fed the morpher the old age target, and reversed the calculation.
BAM, instant teenage face.
it held so well, I could have gotten a baby face out of it.
that, is something the AI here is failing to do: stretch the face to account for bones and skin growth.
They all look so cute in their childhood
@8:20 He became the prom shoot of real life Beavis! :) Thanks for the video!
11:32 LOL that Linus cut with the phone falling, perfection hahaha
Only OG’s remember the old thumbnail.
The actor the AI used for Nick at the end was definitely Crispin Glover
I love how this is bringing me back to the movies 'The Running Man' where they replace the main fighter's face for the media
Love this
It might be just me, but I adore seeing Natalie's transition. She's so beautiful!
nicks looks exactly like Robert Sean Leonard from house
I think a lot of forensics aging technology does use parent face structure as a reference as well, so the face that the software you dont have that is probably why it generics a lot of stuff.
3:55 I love how Jake's face full of pain is already here
This one’s gonna be interesting
Nah
