I have the Gold Bug MP-21 version in my collection (MP-21G). They came out with a Gold Bug Bumble Bee in the mid 80's and I am glad they created a Master Piece of it, the gold paint is gorgeous. New subscriber, loving your channel.
I'm tempted to get a KO MP-45 for that toon bot look, but I still love my MP-21 KO for that G1 toy fat bod and perfect realistic alt mode. Still looking for the KO OS MP-21 to possibly get the alt mode more accurately scaled with the other MP cars.
I am all about cartoon accuracy, but MP-45 is absolutely disgusting. He's accurate from the front, and that's it. MP-21 may not be accurate, but he looks like he was well put together at least.
Jeez... From the thumbnail I'd seriously thought the Toyworld Bee was the Earthrise one as I'd completely forgotten they'd even released a version of their own.
The problem really comes down to, do you like the G-1 chibi beetle mode? If so, id say go with TW Bii, if you just want an awesome G-1-ish Bumblebee thats a beetle over the camaro then id suggest MP 21, it really is just a matter of vehicle mode preference really. Personally i cant fix the MP-45 "kibbleBee" but i CAN fix loose joints lol. Id give MP-21 the advantage and Bii a close second. Im leaving 45 on the shelf personally.😂 However, we all like what we like and thats that!
Old chicken legs (mp-21) is so nice in car mode, the only thing ruin him is robot mode spaghetti arms and chicken legs to go with it 😂 for me car mode MP-21 and robot mode MP-45 would have been a dream😊
Having MP-21, it's a shame he doesn't come with forearm fillers for those gaps or he should have been designed with hatches that open up and close. That's just inexcusable for a MP figure. Does anyone know who is still making those covers? I know someone was selling them years ago.
I always liked the Daniel in exo-suit accessory. One of the few accessories that I have displayed on my shelf. If you count the license plate with MP-45 as an accessory would the spare tire and rubber license plate/gap filler, not count for MP-21? I wish MP-45s windows were tinted blue. My MP-45 was loose out the box, whereas my MP-21 (and the repaints I have) are all still tight. The MP-45 feels so jenky. Luckily, I ink the alt mode looks trash. Firstly, I prefer the real world looking alt mode, and secondly, it has gaps everywhere. I have never been able to get my MP-45 to actually snap together properly, and the plastic does not feel very good. It looks pretty good on the shelf, from the right angle, but I still have my MP-21 displayed on a separate shelf, next to Toro, which matches the MP-21 style very well. Thanks for the video. I always enjoy and appreciate your comparison videos. Yours and Bobby's are easily my favorite. Hope to make it to the livestream tonight, although last nights hostless one was pretty good.

MP 45 is really bad. That toon accurate, lanky look just doesn’t feel like bee. Maybe his artist interpretation changed after G1. In my minds eye he is MP21/Earthrise Bee. I feel like a lot of people feel that way.
I saw both takara ones at my local store. Deciding between two so watching this as a make up my mind thing. Leaning more towards 21 but wish it had openable hands

MP-21 just has that all aroud appeal, and the finish of the paint is great.

That's fair. I agree with you about liking the exo suit more. I really like the jet pack that comes with the gold repaint.

Masterpiece means the most realistic vehicle mode that is still transformable, so I preffer Mp-21 , MP-45 looks dumb to me.
