im 43 and haven't skated in 15 years almost. i just got a cruiser and started again because of this channel.
That makes me so happy to hear
I'm 43 and want to start but gear and a skateboard take second to bills and car repairs. 😊
Yeyy do you want a cookie 🍪 ?? !!
Awesome! This channel is amazing! It helped me also get back on a board! I’m so happy I did! 😊
Same at 39.
i stopped skating awhile ago, id say around 10 years. This channel has given me the drive to hop back on. so i did and popped a heelflip 3rd try TWICE. back then i could never do a heelflip to save my life, but after watching these videos and really studying them i can thank you guys for helping me get back into a hobby i've always loved. Thanks dudes, yall are the goats.
Much love! Keep shredding you got this
Thanks Aaron I skate because of you
Awesome!
Aaron, ive been wanting to learn how to skate for a while and im finally getting my first board next week. I am so hyped to learn, watch your tutorials, and grow as a skater. You are the reason i want to skate so bad, and i cant wait to see where this takes me 🎉
Love it
Enjoy your first board, take your time, and have fun! The Braille cats will help you on your journey.
That idea that helping people with social media is actually great, skateboarding needs it
Thank you
Love all you do brother. You got me back at it at 39. Haven't been on a board 24yrs. Started last November and because of the videos you make. Ive progressed more then i ever thought i could. Thank you so much Aaron and the entire Braille team. Y'all G.O.A.T.s to me
💙💙💙💙Braille💙💙💙💙
That is awesome!
i started skating a month ago and can now frontside 180. thanks 🙏
Nice work!
Congratulations on 2nd at tampa pro JD

Very well done JD!

NICE! so stoked! so this what you've been working on Aaron. I hope it's an absolute success!!!
Us too!
We love what you are doing at Braille. Being able to have experienced this firsthand with the Smollie team only a couple of weeks ago was amazing - to see you and the team engage with and skate with the local community and help guide their steps was a real treat for us. Keep it up!
Thank you!
Keep it up, Aaron! The Braille mission is a noble one. The skateboarding community is fantastic and it’s made all the better with you and the Braille team’s efforts.
Thanks! Will do!
You are an ace AK and an inspiration, thanks for being such a cool guy 😎👌 you have always encouraged people to skate and have fun and help them to do it. Appreciate you.
Thank you, Braille Skateboarding. You guys helped me through my early days of skating, and you told me to never give up. Thank you.
Love this
For me I am inspired to go skate myself whenever I see fun content like what you already make! I would love to see more of the different aspects of Skating, like Freestyle! Some of the footwork looks really fun and cool. I only just got into skating last year and this channel is a huge inspiration to me actually picking up a board so thanks!
More to come!
Thanks for helping me get through life braille has always been my biggest influence in life started skating because of braille now I've been skating for almost 4 years now and skating is the best thing ever
Absolutely loved the video Aaron! I have been here with yall since the start with just you n Lance. Love what you're doing! I am 33 yrs old, I used to skate. I picked up a skateboard n immediately fell in love when I was 12. Skated for many years. Got pretty decent. I can't skate anymore due to asthma. Just takes my breath right away. But I can tell anyone... skateboarding doesn't leave your soul. The passion you get from it, it's still there in you
Awesome! Thank you!
we love you aaron! youre the reason I got back on my board, still working on my ollie!
Love this! Keep shredding and lets push skateboarding all over the world
Heck yeah Mr. Kyro! You are truly passionate about skateboarding. Thanks for everything you do and keep up the great work bro ✊
I appreciate that!
Mannnn just get back to the basics. I remember watching years ago and even though it was you guys in a parking lot skating the butter bench it was awesome!
Yes thats what Im going to do
Just got the super kyro board super happy to have it and have a part of braille history still working on my kickflips thank you braille army !!!
Much love! We got you
Love you man! I am probably going to get a skateboard in May and finally go from riding a cruiser board to a skate, you inspired me a lot.
You should!
You are the reason why I started skating, love you Aaron keep on shredding bro
That's awesome!
You gave me that feeling. After 20 years off the deck, I felt that I had to come back and it was thanks to you, guys. I have to start from 0 again but I don't care, it's the best feeling ever. Thank you Aaron and thank you guys!!
Our pleasure!
Awesome! Thanks for all you do man.
My pleasure!
You guys at braille are doing and awesome job !! Don’t stop, don’t ever give up, bring the new skaters in ( For all the potentially new skaters out there Gabe drop in 2024)
Much love
This is awesome. I’m 28 and I started skating when I was 25. I started off just riding around with my son, but it wasn’t until I looked up how to Ollie and seen a braille video then a lightbulb went off in my head that I actually could skate and do tricks and there was this whole community doing the same thing. I learned how to Ollie from watching your videos and many other tricks so far. Currently trying to get a fakie tre flip and backside flip.
I think this idea is awesome for anyone thinking of skating. I’d love to get on there and support 🤘 cuz you’ve been helping me the last 3+ years and don’t even know.
Love it! Maybe you can start a local skate group at your skatepark
I don't even skate, but I never miss an upload because the enthusiasm and love you guys have for skateboarding just makes me so happy.
Love it
Found this badass group of guys about a year ago now and just last week jumped on the Army+ skated for years when I was younger got what I thought was decent started skating again and thanks to Aaron and the crew I’ve been landing tricks I never thought possible before! Never too old to shred!!
Love it!
I'm 40 now. I actually got into riding skateboards a couple years ago(long time rollerblading) when I was watching your channel. I ended up getting a cruiser and an electric board. I never learned a single trick in my 2 years of skating but I have so much fun just riding around. Im too scared to learn any tricks at this age because I fear if I do learn one I will more than likely get injured learning more. So although I will prolly never learn any tricks I always have a smile on my face like J.D. every time I'm riding my rollerblades or skateboard.
Love this ❤️
Seeing others struggle with the same trick I’m trying to learn myself, helps me learn it better n gives me the motivation to keep trying. That’s why we stay on gabe to drop in, cause him learning to drop in,will motivate others to do so. This channel has helped multiple ppl with not only skateboarding but with depression as well. Thank you
I'm 35 my guy, and I just hopped back on a Braille board this year with real intent to get back at it. It's been almost 2 decades since I've felt this passion. Thank You Aaron for everything you contribute to the Skateboarding Community!!
Thanks so much! Lets get it Ill help you
47 and got back on the board after watching your videos. It’s been 30+ yrs and I just wanted to fell the freedom of skating again. Thank you for all you do
Love this! I can help you learn on the proper gradient again
Im 35 and got back into it last year after 5 years of not. Skateboarding still helps me with feeling better, i love it. even with the injuries its worth it. i have started wearing protection so i can skate more. Been skating in a carpark for a few months and last night for the first time another random skateboarder was there, i was so happy that another skateboarder was at the spot.
Love this
Appreciate your work. I'm a little more than a month in right now and i'll be taking part in your shuvit challenge.
Today was day one and it mostly involved wiping out and fails.
I'll be keeping at it all month.
Great! Let me know how I can help
You’ve helped me alot already. But things take time. Landings feels amazing in life. But my favorite part is the realization of the skateboarding shapes me .That motivates me the most!
Love that!
Im 13 skating for a year and i learned all the basics from you: ollie shove-it bs180 fs180. But right now im stuck on heels and the kickflip but i think i also will be able to learn it in no time if i wach your how to a few more times.
Get it!
When I was little, I tried my friends skateboard and hit my head on concrete... and last year I started again thanks to this channel and my friend making me try her penny board. I just bought new wheels, painted the board myself and I'm on my way to the Ollie while riding. I love all of you guys
Rock on!
I am 38 and started skating a few months ago. I still can't ollie but I am having fun. Your videos helped me to land a shuv it.
Thanks for the effort you put in!
Maybe you already have a video on it, I just haven't found it. I would like to see a video of simple tricks you can do on a bank or pyramid for beginners.
Ill have to make this. I dont have it for a bank or pyramid specifically
Pls make a video with Chloe learning how to pick up a board
I never learned to skate but I’ve always loved to watch people skate. But I know what you mean when you say you saw something and decided it was what you wanted to do. I got into the guitar when I was 13 and thought it was the coolest thing ever, now I’m 32 and I’ve been a professional guitarist for 7 years and live in Nashville playing 5-6 days a week.
Awesome
I’ve been watching you since I was 7 and I’ve been skating every since cause of you❤
Love this
That kicker kickflip was bamf. Thank you and everyone else on Braille for everything you have brought to the community. Respect from Sweden.
Much love
I learned to kickflip properly because of YOU Aaron. My first land EVER only took about 18 hours over 9 days. Not too shabby! There was a time I never thought I could fix my flick muscle memory. My first Heelflip was at 26 years old!
Love this so much! Keep it up
I loved it when you say "we are adults riding on a children's toy"! such a beautiful video with tons of wholesome moments. in my teenage years I had a shaped skateboard and only dared to push and cruise. I discovered Braille Skateboarding channel last year and watching your videos reignited what I delayed forever. now I'm 36, have a popsicle skateboard and restarted in the right way thanks to your How to Skate videos (a.k.a. bootcamp episodes) and the Braille Skate app. keep it up Aaron and the rest of the Braille team. much love from the Netherlands
Much love! Lets get it ❤️
I don’t really skate anymore I just ride my long board but I’ve been watching the channel since I was about 14 or so and I’m almost 23 now. All the Will it skate videos were so fun to watch, and I remember watching lance learn to skate that was also really cool stuff. thank you for providing such a cool channel and community
Much love
Please make more videos on commitment. I've been skateboarding for around 8 years, and my muscle memory is fine. I can land so many tricks non stop with 1 foot. But every year after the winter I have to relearn myself to commit, which leads to me feeling I don't progress. Every summer I have to go back to where I was.. and then the summer ends..
Ok I will. Check out Braille Skateboarding Academy
AK, you're the reason I've decided to put my feet on a skateboard for the first time in 14 years, I'm even doing a video series on my channel and with every video I'm noticing improvement! Thankyou Aaron!
Love this so much!
Much love to braille!!
Much love
At 30 years old I've never had any decision stick with me for life. Beginning to think I should rethink that and make one of those decisions finally. I have picked up skating again though thanks to this channel. Thanks Aaron :)
You can do it!
I’m 26 haven’t skated since I was 12. Didn’t learn to do much I just loved riding around town. Ever since I started watching your videos made me wonder why I stopped. So I went and got a board 😂 might need to take your advice on this all again. Thanks Aaron.
I got you! Ill personally help you learn all the tricks
@@brailleskateboarding I’m definitely willing to learn! Thank you!
I bought a skateboard a ling time ago and just stopped using it before I learned anything on it. I stumbled on this channel and decided to start using it again. Now I'm following the skateboard boot camp series. Currently working on the shove it. Almost got it down, just got to land correctly now.
Love it! Keep skating!
Dude, you helped alot. I'm a 49 year old skater that started last year. The early steps are super helpful. Unfortunately, I've quickly veered off the path, and worked mostly on transitions. So, a year later, although i can do 50-50, and back to fakie, front side disaster, I'm can barely make a 6" Ollie while moving. Really love transition. Would really love a transition series. Keep up the great work AK. You made it fun learning skateboard and possible as a almost 50 year old beginner.
Hey Aaron. I used to skate but I'm facing an injury right now. I'll probably have to get a surgery and not be able to walk for one and a half months. When I recover, I want to use your new program. I could ollie, fs180, pop shuv, fs pop shuv and some transition tricks. I hope I get well soon and get to use your help to progress even more than I did before. Keep it up, love yall
Yes much love. Heal up and I got you
I'm still a beginner stakeboarder still trying to get used to the stakeboard, I'm hoping to get better on it, your RUclips videos help aton. I am very scared of falling off my skateboard so I cling onto my great grandpa's car while trying to get on my skateboard.
Nice, start slow and build your self up to it
Okay, will do, thanks
i help run a skate team in houston, and some of our best team riders admit to learning how to skate through braille/ skateboarding made simple. i really hope yall find success in bringing more people into skateboarding and getting more people to land there first kickflip.
Hey awesome! Send in the story of your team on the Braille website and lets make a video
this is great to hear what you have acheived Aaron
Thank you and more importantly what we will achieve
I bought my first skateboard a week ago because of this channel
I'm not really comfortable riding it yet but I am sure I will be able to do some cool tricks one day!
You can do it!
I got my first skateboard on my 6th birthday because I always thought skateboarding was cool. For some reason I really started skateboarding when I was about 9 years old. I’m turning 16 this year and I’m so glad I never stopped skateboarding. It’s so much fun and helps me to just relax and forget everything else for a moment.
Huge thanks to you Aaron and everyone else on the braille team, because you are one of the main reasons I wanted to learn how to ride a skateboard and how to do tricks!❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
Love this ❤️
Thanks Aaron, you helped me a lot❤❤
Happy to hear that!
id taken a decade break before i saw you drop in and shuv it on a fkn 50" TV... i came back to the sport and it changed my life forever, again. Ill never get back those lost years but ill never miss another one either.. thanks for that.
Wow love this
Love this video A-Aron! 🤣🤣 now I want a cruiser and will put on the old green wheels I bought years ago

We just signed up for the Academy and we’re super excited. When we go to the website, we’re a little bit unsure about how to access the Academy. It says our account is active, but we’re a little bit confused on how to use the Academy.
Is there a video on how to use the Academy perhaps?
I just sent you an email. I will help you get in there and with anything you need. Let’s get it!
I love you bro, youre Amazing!!!
You're the best!
you helped me learn how to skate so thanks man
You are welcome
Aaron, im never going to skate, but i love your content and your spirit. Keep it up my guy ❤
Never!? Much love and thank you.
im going to teach my siblings this summer how to skate and your newest video "for over 30's" or what ever it is called, i think will help them alot, ive not skated in years so im gonna do the same with them :D
Amazing
I hope that everyone has an amazing 2024 and safe travels and skateboarding throughout the years. 🍀♾️❤️🔥
This channel got me into skating
Awesome thank you
That’s very nice that you motivate me to skateboard
Awesome
Always loved watching you guys since I first started skating in 2019. About a year ago I noticed the video ideas were starting to get repetitive and less effort put into them. Would love to see this channel thrive again like it once did. I think it comes down to the two sides people like to watch. The fun creative videos and the gnarly seshes going down at braille introducing new people.
i remember seeing the magnet you make it we skate it video and it looked so fun and thats what got me into skateboarding
Love it
I'm 36, and I hung a rope in my car port to hold on to, lol, and I'm making a lot of progress on ollies, and shuvs, getting closer to kickflips and 180s too. Started going to skateparks for the first time last october, learned to pivot on banks and roll to fakie, and I've dropped in a few times. I'm having a lot of fun and I'm making time to practice, I want to land some tricks. It's the landing part thats hard lol. I think that learning to caveman might help me out, so I'm gonna do that.
Anyway, thanks guys.
Love this! Keep up the good work
Fiiirst tryyy! Love it! Will definitely check it out!
Yay! Thank you!
I stopped skating @ 19 (flow skater ) now I’m 41 . I stopped cause I broke my ankle and needed pins, plate and screws . I get on my board every now and then . Your videos are definitely motivating, thank you !

I love that you featured our comment! It’s so nice and inspiring to feel and be seen by our favorite skating family. Thank you so much for everything Braille Army, and for completely making our day!
P.S. we want to start uploading videos of our skating progress!
Please do
My life today wouldn’t be the same without skateboarding. I don’t know if I would still be skateboarding and pushing myself at 46 without Braille. Thank you Aaron for your passion to get people on a skateboard and for pushing us. ❤👊❤
Much love ❤️
Can you set it up so that if people start groups in an area, they can submit that to Braille - if that group is open to other people joining.
Maybe include age groups in case someone is older or younger and they’re trying to keep the group to a certain age.
Thanks for doing this.
Looking to get back on after decades of being off the board.
I have that already setup. Submit your group to Braille under the community tab on the website and lets go! Any more help I can provide Im here for it
Watching your videos inspired me to start skating again. Haven't skated in over 27yrs. So I bought a board. Btw, I'm 58yo😊
That is awesome!
2 months back I found an old used skateboard for $3 and grabbed it as a fun fix-up project. I've always thought they were cool, but never had the guts to ride. Since then I've been learning about the different parts of a board, how to repair and replace them, and I discovered Braille. I would never have thought I could even survive standing on a board if I hadn't watched these total bros slam themselves over and over again and get back up. Watching these dudes just hang out and be guys is so refreshing. Braille is now how I chill out at the end of the day, and I have hope to find something real special in skateboarding. $3 well spent.
Love this
You're a standup guy Aaron, thanks for everything you do!
Much love ❤️
Any advice for getting comfortable on a long board and stopping speed wobbles
Thanks aaron we appreciate you

Im so hyped for all the guys that are my age and skateboarding again im 37 and have been skating since 98
Me too. Im 40. Lets get it
@brailleskateboarding I'm starting a health skate brand longevity skateboarding would you unbox my shapes on the channel
I have always been able to shuv (either way) better than Ollie / flip trick it was my favorite trick I was a king of tre flips once I got it down and haven’t done one in 15 years.. watching y’all’s videos always makes me wanna go buy a new board.. but I’m so brittle now and days 😢
That's incredible what you've done for the skateboarding industry and every beginner skater. Thanks a lot for that ! But i think that these daily uploads are no longer working on youtube. I think people now prefer one or two videos a week with a better quality and with all the team. I'm gonna repeat myself but thank you so much for getting me into skateboarding. Have a nice day !
Yes we will be moving to less videos next week. Thank you for the support
Thank you Aaron.
This is a great video yes I want to keep skateboarding
