He's been teaching Aaron some vert since he brought him in the team years ago. He literally brought jd on because he's a vert skater and the whole braille team is street so this isn't anything new. They been teaching each other
@@joshualombardo576 Yeah but Aaron the one that taught JD the basics like ollie 180s and stuff, so what the OG commentor is saying it's crazy how far JD has come, going from Aaron teaching him the basics to him teaching Aaron vert
This is what makes Braille a real awesome skate community for me. It's not just fearless insanely talented guys doing backflips across a pit of great white sharks, it's the learning curve we're all on and overcoming relatable nerves, and sticking to it out of the love for it.
Aaron please keep vert dawgs series going!!! Me and my friend are building a 12ft vert this year and have never skated vert before so this has been super inspiring to us!! Keep this series alive keep vert alive!!
This episode was amazing. Overcoming the fear and mental block is something all who skate go through for every trick from the very beginning. I think watching this will really help people new to skating feel like they aren't the only one that feels fear. Aaron way to inspire, very nice!
This video literally had me on the edge of my seat. I felt as though I was up there trying to do that roll in myself. That takes some big 🥥. Best video in a while.
Literally did my first drop in today and watching this makes me feel a bit better about how many times I bailed out before I finally stayed on the board
that was....INTENSE!!!! Hearts were pounding right along with you, AK! Great filming and production Gabe and JD. Wow, the game has been stepped up, keep em' coming!!!
Thank you thank you thank you Aaron I was having the worst day..the darkest in a long long time and your video has just made me laugh out loud and smile from ear to ear! Thank you for your dedication and putting your body on the line X hope it helps knowing you made someone's day brighter because of it xx Gabe was right your an inspiration! And finally congratulations on the jumba juices!!
Nice example for the mental battle, what every skateboarder has to deal with. Congrats Aaron. If you keep doing the vert dogs series, make sure to get enough off camera training to gain real earned confidence. I would like to see the series going on, if you are willing to do it.
This is one of the best videos I’ve seen of Aaron, hands down. I love the pure rawness, self confidence and just full send. Even after pulling a muscle, bailing and all. Nothing can tear this man down from doing what he loves. Legend! Keep grindin brotha. 🤙
You're a master at skating and teaching, and still have your weaknesses. Thanks for showing what fear and mental block look like and how to deal with it. You're the man 👍
Bro you are inspiring im 38 and just picked up a board again to get my son into something other than video games and i share your videos with him and they give him confidence stay safe man
I was panicking right with you, Aaron. Such an intense video. Really, really happy you crushed it. I admire your commitment. Also, JD and Gabe did a great job filming this. JD coaching you was so fun to watch. All around awesome vid. 👍👏👏🔥
I think it's great to see people skate both vert and street, so I say to keep the series going. Aaron took the roll in slam and the roll in knee slide slam very well, so I'm confident he can take vert slams of other vert skating.
When you get past 25 there's already a difference in what the body can take and then over 35 falling and slamming to the ground can severely bruise you and make you feel sore for days. Doing stretching and warmup exercises can help prevent muscles from straining which can set you back to a few weeks of pain and limited movement, but nothing can help against an aging body that can take less and takes longer to heal. Doing that roll-in takes some big cojones and there's no shame in fear of doing it, still nailed it. Nice video!
JD was right, you can lean too far to the front. I did it when doing my first dropin at our local miniramp 30 years ago. I was around the size of the smaller kid in the video and the ramp was around 5ft6, huge compared to me... All the older skaters hyped me up and i committed and slammed really hard down into the flat. I was in pain, but immediately tried again to stop the fear from manifesting and did it and was super happy. Luckily I didn't break anything, but had a huge hematome at the hip and had pain for at least 2 weeks. At the time nobody I knew had protection like helmet or knee protectors which made it even scarier because we couldnt bail and knee slide... Awesome vid!!!! I really felt the struggle!
That's very motivating for me . I am terrified of a 5 cm drop. Seeing try again and and again helps me so much. I will like you did it try again an again till I can do this 5 cm drop.😊
I've been skating for six months. Can't drop in yet but roll in on a 6 ft ramp with my longboard since that's what I started with. Feels like an easier transition for me personally. Haven't done it on a reg board yet just because its not as wide and i'm still learning my balance on it
Ahhhh man, I’m always freaking out with you on these haha. Literally screaming over here by myself freakin out watching this. I feel nervous looking down that thing from the footage can only imagine in person 😭😭🤣
I'm finally getting back into skateboarding after like two years because of the COVID and I'm watching the skate camp videos and there really helping me
We want to see Gabe drop-in. Get take the steps neccessary, go inch by inch of vert. Please get him there before his body is too old for it. Like Aaron's 😂 I hope you're alright buddy! Great battle and victory on this one!
I love the role reversal of JD teaching Aaron, we've come full circle over the last 10 years
No slo mo on the fall :(
yeah!!! JD is growing xD
He's been teaching Aaron some vert since he brought him in the team years ago. He literally brought jd on because he's a vert skater and the whole braille team is street so this isn't anything new. They been teaching each other
The sacrifice must be made
@@joshualombardo576 Yeah but Aaron the one that taught JD the basics like ollie 180s and stuff, so what the OG commentor is saying it's crazy how far JD has come, going from Aaron teaching him the basics to him teaching Aaron vert

Couldn't agree more!
Seeing Aaron hype himself up to try a new trick is something every skater can relate to
Nice Aaron , that's a big roll in
I would be crapping myself.
Aaron please keep vert dawgs series going!!! Me and my friend are building a 12ft vert this year and have never skated vert before so this has been super inspiring to us!! Keep this series alive keep vert alive!!
Wish I was your pal🤙👌stay safe wear a helmet !
Document the adventure 🥊
it feels like its past vert to me when youre wheels hit the vert your board kind of comes off the ramp.
That's so cool, I should record videos about it, we need more vert content on YT 😊
Wear all the gear, including wrist guards. You might not feel as cool wearing them but you'll be grateful 10 years from now, guaranteed👍
I'm loving the dual-cam with JD, love hearing his takes along side Gabe!
It honestly feels like you’re more involved in the conversation itself while the videos switching between angles.
Onb
Jds girlie voice is refreshing
Yes this is one of the best edits I’ve ever seen very fun

Aaron's my hero. I don't do heights, but he's willing to drop in from such a high place. Godspeed, sir.
At 6' 2 and 40, a lot harder because of the fear. It's easier to break something.
top 5 braille videos of all time. i love when jd and aaron push each other

i love the mp4 at the end it really speaks to me tbh
Hahahaha right? That was definitely not intentional
19:38 OMG 😂😂😂 That knee slide down the roll in killed me.
hes ready for hollywood
You're a master at skating and teaching, and still have your weaknesses. Thanks for showing what fear and mental block look like and how to deal with it. You're the man 👍
As a 53 year old and still roll a little I love your video’s! And how cool of a kid JD is!
we need more segments like 26:34
aaron and gabes back and forth is always pure gold
I didn't die
You didn't
So you're saying there's still a chance...to die 😂😂😂
Welcome back. Please more vert, it was sad when y'all stopped. Seriously the best video y'all have made in like 2 years.
Aaron YOu really are A inspiration Thank you for being fearless and funny at the same time.

I've been waiting for this video since JD started on the channel years ago and they started doing vert together. So stoked for Aaron man.
Bro you are inspiring im 38 and just picked up a board again to get my son into something other than video games and i share your videos with him and they give him confidence stay safe man
Respect to Aaron still going hard man. Love y’all out there with braille!

PLEASE more vert content, it's the best!
JD is smooth and quick on that motivational speaking.
“That was 10 years ago.”
“Exactly. You had less experience then.”
I am so happy. You are the greatest content on the entire RUclips platform! I love braille!!!!
There’s better content out there. Sorry to hear this is a gold standard for you. Set your standards higher lol.

Best episode ever! Love this series and I want to start getting up to skating a vert ramp so I can really relate with the fear!
It's so wild to watch you drop in with EASE and then get so worked up over a roll-in! I could so do that..
..In my wildest dreams.
The vert dog series is my favorite Braille series of all time. 10/10 will revive the channel
VERT DAWGS!! best series on braille
Crazy AK! Way to stick it out and get it done. I would have said no way after that slam! Mad _impressive_
Finally the return of Vert Dawgs
Aaron, your line at 26:45 is hilarious! That there was still a chance to die made me laugh out loud.
this was one of my favorite braille clips in a long time.
I enjoyed every minute of it.
Way to go Aaron !!!
This was the best video ever, watching jd cheer on Aaron is so heart warming
JD's exasperated requests for Aaron to stop pulling up short made me laugh so hard lol, I could hear the adrenaline in his voice 😂😂😂
Keep this series going!!
BRO DARUDE
Props to JD for calling out Gabe. Finally someone put him in his place.
Big love to all the team, I really loved this one, you are a beast Aaron

Seeing Aaron take on his fears with vert gives me confidence to keep going
AK is the siccest. Thanks Aaron and Braille Army. Stay up AK. 💯👍🛹
BOOOOODDDDIIIIEEEEDDD! Props Aaron for trying it in the first place, a 13.5 foot vert for a street skater is NUTS
Great great great video, showing the fear, fails and commitment is a huge part of skating
23:23 the "hardest" slam
28:33 where he succeeds
"No advice, just drop in" 😅I want this shirt hahaha
Vert dogs! The fear of dropping in is so relatable to every skater! Loved this episode!
Yes please keep the series going that was awesome
24:48 that was the best American say g'day mate I've heard as an Aussie you get the award who agrees?

JD “Dude you’ve got to stop doing that, giving me mini heart attacks” 😂😂😂❤
More vert dogs please 🙏 💪 @Aaronkyro push thru the fear, and embrace the vert ramp 🤝🤝
Have you guys seen the longboard rear brake from Vibe Ride? It seems like a really cool idea actually and I hope you can give it more attention.
Gabes voiceover at 11:15 is killing me 😆
That's very motivating for me . I am terrified of a 5 cm drop. Seeing try again and and again helps me so much. I will like you did it try again an again till I can do this 5 cm drop.😊
It made my heart drop when he was starting and stopping lol. Great video!
@9:33 JD: "That was an insane shot" 😂😂😂
You Guys Should Call Lance and tell him on camera that we all miss him here on RUclips I sure we all would love to hear from him ❤

You know when u can already do those tricks but still watch the videos braille is means sumthin to the woorld😊
BigUP Aaron! love&respect...
Great watching him overcome his fear.
I've never been so nervous watching one of your videos!
I've been skating for six months. Can't drop in yet but roll in on a 6 ft ramp with my longboard since that's what I started with. Feels like an easier transition for me personally. Haven't done it on a reg board yet just because its not as wide and i'm still learning my balance on it

Aaron having a face like hes going for his execution before going on the vert XD
Gabe: “Aaron’s biggest drop in there’s your title”
Title of video: Aaron Kyro’s hardest slam
Going from kickflip to manny kickflip out, treflip re vert to straight roll in on a half pipe. Pretty darn well rounded!!!! Keep it up dude! 😎👊
Letsgooo Aaron! Making us old skaters proud! Still got it.
Aaron i looovee that you skated vert again and i hope that you restart your road to vert!
I'm finally getting back into skateboarding after like two years because of the COVID and I'm watching the skate camp videos and there really helping me

That was a hard slam? Talk about clickbait
Aaron dropping in is so relatable, I just learned how to drop in from 12 ft and his feelings are so real 😅😂
Love to watch the journey on these vids. Much love!
Also, these are so inspirational and relatable. I don't skate (yet), but I still get what you're going through.
4:05 "yeah but he's 4 feet"😂😂😂
Mad respect for getting up right quick AK. I'm glad you didn't brake anything G.
