Revisiting this one. Cancelling family was genuinely some of the best advice ever given. You do not have to participate in anything if you don't want to.
He's got a great point. Once you get sober things don't immediately get better. That's when things get hard. There's a lot of residual trauma sometimes that needs to be mended if you ever want to feel whole again.
It took me all to long to find out about the glorious dillon. I've been on like a 5 month fucking binge and my humor is becoming offensive to literally everyone. Not recommended .
I can TOTALLY and COMPLETELY validate Tim's eloquent description of the sociopathologic group known as the boomers from my unfortunate personal experiences. I'm 10 years older than my boomer siblings and parents. It had been nothing less than a nightmare until I turned 50 y/o and exiled myself from them forever. It's been the best decision of my life. I can attest Tim's rant how self- centered, materialistic, and jealous these people can be. Ignored and dismissed, my best interests were never considered by these people, to the contrary. The more I suffered the better they felt. Just like Tim says! Tim I appreciate you so much for bringing this to light!
Tim’s saying “you don’t deserve it” to a world of bitter boomers and self-righteous twats who think they’re owed something. That’s the hard truth we need to hear. Thanks Tim.
Tim was on fire during the porch era
not the same without the porch
He needs to move back to L.A. I feel like he has lost a little bit of his zeal for the show since he moved to Austin. Maybe it's just me

The porch era is untouchable. We need a “best of the porch” episode.
Nothin but facts
Would be at least a 4 hour straight pod of porch gold. It’s needs to happen
This whole podcast itself was flawless
Its undoubtedly bomb disney world, I think. Feral is close second
@@jishnubasavaraju8038 when he talks about Disney World before his parents divorced was pure genius.
You can listen to any episode and it ages wonderfully.
So true😂
totally. totally true!!

here in the immediate post-ben era, and your words are evergreen. should be etched in stone ❤
Agree, I can listen to H.Stern and it’s the same feeling. Timeless.
Screaming into a microphone on a porch does it for me.
Alone in a closet might be better.
And the neighbors must luv it
Sleeping on the bed and screaming into a microphone also works for me
for sure. totally, totally correct man

i like the porch cuz i know the neighbors hear it
It would be so cool to be neighbors with this guy. I’d tune in from the comfort of the darkest part of my lawn.
Da Best! 😂
That's appropriation theft.
I needed this tonight. Stay on that porch.

Most underrated podcast ever
Almost 3 years later and the studio question has now turned into a running bit that I'm not sure will ever end.
Tim truly taps into a comedy flow state talking about the zeitgeist of our reality. It’s a beautiful thing.
Beautifully said, it's wonderful

The energy that lays here , dormant until clicked on and unleashed into the mortal realms.
The porch era is unmatched

Preach it dude. I’m still at the trying to figure out how to have fun with other people stage. You need to up end your entire social circle

Relatable - This makes my sick fuck Long Island Boomer destroyed blackened heart so happy😂🖤
See, my humor was already fucked, so for me it was just finding a comedian that at last, I find genuinely funny.

Shoulda never left the porch Tim. Studio world ate you up
I think he already ate the studio.
"Everyone has a studio." All the more reason to not get a studio.
In retrospect, canceling the fam was one of the best decisions I ever made.
Leave the pedo drug addicts behind and get that sweet porch after you start that fake business you’ve always wanted. This is the way.
I didnt take it seriously now im doing it 3 years later
indeed. utterly right!
3yrs in to the cancelling and loving the peace & quiet✌😄

Tim Dillon is the only comedian who can make me belly laugh these days. 🤣🤣🤣
Check out Bad Friends podcast with Bobby Lee and Andrew Santino. It's a little bit sillier but hilarious.
Bring back the porch. Get a house with a balcony or porch and let’s go! 🎉

Stay on the porch. Maybe get an outdoor "Tim Dillon is Going to Hell" neon sign or something if your worried about the perception of success.
What an awesomene idea!
