Hey some features you have forgotten is the fact that the USB port can be used not only for charging but also for high-res listening (The Momentum 4 is the only headphone in the world with that feature) , you can also use the wire without having to switch them on (great when battery is completely dead or want to save power). The earcups can be removed; they are just glued, and you can easily replace them. The microphone is one of the best for phone calls. I used it in all conditions, and never have I heard a complaint about how I sounded. I have had mine since Dec 2022.
Do they REALLY work well without turning them ON for wired connectivity?... Also, using the USB-A cable limits you a lot because you'll need a dongle from USB-A to USB-C and connect them to your phone... As far as I can remember, there are brands that sell headphones with both 3.5 audio jack and USB-C cables (USB-C type being the one for charging AND hi-res audio)... So, why would Sennheiser use an old USB-A sided cable for hi-res audio? USB-C also allows you to charge faster and have better data transfers. Is the sound via wired audio cable (3.5 jack to 2.5jack) better or the same as from bluetooth connection? Thnx!
@@chev3893 I OWN TWO MOMENTUM 4. When used wired while turned off, they do work well, just like old-fashioned headphones with a flat EQ. In that situation, you can not use the EQ or the ANC on the app because they are off, which is normal. I use a USB-C (both sides). I NEVER USED the one in the box. Any wired connection is ALWAYS better than Bluetooth, as the data does not go through any compression. To appreciate Hi-Res audio, YOU MUST LISTEN FROM A HIGH-RES SOURCE. IPHONE IS NOT ONE OF THEM, as they are stuck to AAC codecs only. I use TIDAL (one of the best for High-Res audio) instead of Spotify on Android, and the difference is night and day when wired. On a computer make sure the audio file is High-Res.
Huh, such in connecting USB-C to USB-A pc or do you mean USB-C to the USB-C or whatever for phone to get the high res volume? Also even without that cable how do i know when high res is on so it's not just placebo
Your promo needs a little correction...the ear cushions are replaceable, it's even mentioned in the manual. Sennheiser does sell them on their website under the parts section. And please, don't encourage people to use their headphones for running or working outs. They're not meant to be used in such conditions. They're not IP-rated, not water/sweat resistant and if any water-ingress related stuff happens, the warranty will be voided straight away. For these sort of activities, proper, ip-rated ear buds are the only way to go.
These type of YT's they don't even check the details in the box of the products they're reviewing... so ironic! Many fall down into their own traps where the most important details are dismissed just because of laziness and lack of reading.
Ive replaced mine with wicked pads cooling gel pads. They improve the sound as they are bigger. There is a larger hole gor your ears the part toucing your head is the kind of material that sports shirts made of eg adidas climacool. The sides are leather. The improve the look a lot and fix the only problem aith these the sweaty ring after long use
Hey Fredo, are you still using the RE320? I just retired my Sennheiser MK4 because it was just picking up EVERYTHING (all ambient sounds). I'm set on the RE320, but I'm having second thoughts.. We have similar voices, so hope you can chime in.
Honestly RE320 is at my GF place and I’ve barely touched it. It’s still an amazing mic and I love the sound BUT I’m using more shot gun mics for my talking head video. Really enjoying the Comica VM40 because it’s has 32bit float built in. If I had to get podcast mic tomorrow id probably go with rode pod mic usb c / XLR purely because of convenience/connectivity
I've been soured on Seinnheiser over the years. They seem to be more focused on pushing out an updated product every 2 years rather than engineering a great product that doesn't get refreshed for 5 years+ Imma blame this on the True Momentum Witeless Earbuds 1-4
What will u pick between sen mtm 4 and airpods max anyday for listening to music as i have airpods pro i love it but having issues deciding which one to buy between these2
Are you making a detailed video comparing the Airpods Max, Sonos Ace and Sony wh5? I tried them all and the Sound ist Fire, I found the Sennheiser the best. also from the price-performance ratio.
I hated these when I first got them, because they sounded very average straight out of the box, but when you do the hearing test and tweak the results, they sound fantastic.
@brokenamvs9707 when you do the hearing test, you end up with a grid made of dots, with a ball in the middle. Simply move the ball around to add, or subtract certain frequencies. You can always go back to the original position, if you don't like your changes.
@brokenamvs9707 well, personally, mine is set near to the bottom edge and right hand corner, but this may not suit your personal taste, or hearing profile. It's worth having a play around with it.
@@Fredo.heavyy Thanks for the reply brother! How about the special edition with copper accents? I'm confused between these two. Graphite is $22 more than the copper one in India.
Simple Choice and 3 reasons why. 1) MDAQS The Multi-Dimensional Audio Quality Score results indicates BOSE Quiet Comfort Ultra is much better than the SONY WH-1000XM5. 2) Sony XM5 release date May 2022 MSRP $399.99 and Bose QC Ultra release date October 2023 MSRP $429. aka release date (age) and original pricing. 3) 2024 Holiday sale XM5 $299 and QC Ultra $329 both dropping $100. affordability as Sony XM5 should be discounted more because it is a year older than Bose QC Ultra. On the other hand, the best audio/sounding BT headphones are the Sennheiser Momentum 4 release date August 2022 MSRP $349 and now on sale for $229 as $120 less. The Momentum 4 MDAQS rating is about equal to the Bose QC Ultra. Another thing: Momentum 4 just sounds better than Bose or Sony probably because of the 42mm dynamic drivers. The best affordable Bluetooth headphone which cost less of the 3 is Momentum 4. The quality is better than the Sony XM5 and just a small notch below the Bose QC Ultra. Apple products are all over-priced. Sure, they can be great if you don't mind wasting your money. Well, you could always get B&W Px8, not sure but Focal Bathys or a Shure brand.
Lame "review"... got nothing from this video, at least nothing relevant! Thanks for showing the graphite color way. They look more premium in this color than the default black ones.
I'm glad they sent you the graphite, I've already watched a ton of vids but I wanted to see the graphite in action and it looks dope. thanks

Indeed they are replaceable, yes!

Thank you, most youtube videos are only reviewed white or black version, only you reviewed the graphite. Now I know which to buy.
6:15 I've seen videos of the Momentum 4 that show the earpads are removable.
They are removable, you’re correct

Just a heads up that the ear pads actually do come off, you can buy replacements or upgrades online
Had few other comments bring that to my attention, thank you!
your dp had me checking my screen thinking there is a crack on my screen

How does it look with sound leakage in momentum 4’s? Is there any? If yes, is it bad?
Minimal sound leakage almost zero if say

Did a long vacation to Mexico and took the Momentum 4, ANC was amazing, battery life was stellar and sound quality was great.
Momentum 4 are my pick.
As always your reviews are honest straight to the point and practical. You deserve way more subs.
This is actually quite misleading.

Same with XM5 s
how did you tweak it?

Yea it’s the graphite version, honestly the best looking color way in my opinion

You can snap the ear cups off. It’s pretty easy actually.
Is left and right channel sound imbalance fixed in Sennheiser momentum 4 ??
Yes.
The earpads are removable
I’ve been told, still not as friendly as AirPod max and Sonos Ace

Watch the video again at slower speed, use your ears and lose the mask.
